Hi first I know this is in the wrong place but I have only joined a few months ago so currently can't post in the developer forum so if someone can move this there it would be ace.
All thanks for this rom go to the Cyanogenmod team and the Leaf rom team, this is a sort of combination of the two to get sense and Android 2.3.3
This is the first release so could be a bit buggy, so please either comment on here or message me so these can be fixed! However it is based on two stable roms so shouldn't have too many problems

That's great! Do you have any screenshots? and perhaps more specs? like CPU Overclock capability's, SuperUser etc...? Does it support fully landscape support, so also the Rosie APK (launcher)? And do you need to flash Google Apps?

But if it is based on CM7 there are SuperUser and the other CM7-specific preferences like overclocking...

Hi sorry screenshots will be up soon and it has all the features of CM 7.03 so if you look on their website it will tell you all of the overclocking etc.
It has elements of Rosie sense at the moment I think the launcher is ADW but i shall fix this to the Rosie launcher in the next version as I think there is a package conflict there at the moment as to which launcher the system uses

Yeh it is fully rooted with superuser and overclocking again specifics like the amount of overclocking will have to be answered by CM website and the CM version used is the stable 7.03

Same lockscreen...unfortunately...there are some differences with the app drawer and pulldown bar that I have noticed so far...I think they botched the camera up in this build though...I am going to pull one from another build and see if I can get it working....You can take pics with the front camera, and video with the back camera, but pictures taken with the back camera don't seem to save...idk.

The original RUU will work but you will lose root if you flash it...

Jcase put that one together so it is safe to say that the one from Android Police works too. He also started a thread here for it (so far only with a link to the Android Police post) with intentions to post everything here too.

How to install it:
If your rom based on Dexter rom than there is a chance that you will only need
wipe cache and dalvik-cache.
If not - you should wipe all data.
After restoring rom from nandroid apply patch, because russian version of settings.apk and phone.apk have some changes for russian users.

As long as the framework-res folder structure matches Moize7Ae's MM patch it should work. You could also try ZipThemer.

RM uses Mioze7Ae's MM patch so it should work =)
Afaik there is some program with name metamorth.. it's changes phone theme...
Metamorph works "live" on the phone & when it themes framework-res it will reboot the phone & with owq's morph I think you have to run through MM a second time to get the white clock color. ZipThemer takes the morph & builds an update.zip (& an undo.zip for when things go wrong). So you create the update.zip (I use HTC Edify Generic update script setting) make sure it is in the openrecovery/updates folder, boot into OC & apply the update.

Can you please tell us what are the advantages of this rom over stock 2.1 or miui?
Will it increase free RAM, rom space, snappiness ? Any disadvantages over the stock roms? Is the haptic feedback as strong as the original stock rom?
I've made a custom rom, according to my personal preferences.
I don't remember all the changes, but some are:
- Based on KPN 2.3.3 official rom for Spain.
- Deodexed.
- Rooted.
- Changed boot animation.
- CRT animation enabled.
- SIP calling enabled.
- Removed some Samsung bloatware.
- Added Cyanogenmod's DSPManager (equalizer).
- Added some Google's apps, including Car Home and Music, among others.
- Added some other apps (according to my preferences).
- Custom kernel with ext4 support.
- Replaced Samsung's TW-Launcher with Zeam.
- Removed Samsung's keyboard.
- Added Gingerbread stock keyboard.
- Removed Swype, as this lets you install the latest beta .(http://beta.swype.com).
- Replaced the Clock and alarm app with Cyanogenmod's one (more options for alarms).
- More changes that I don't remember.
Flash from ClockworkMod. You need to have previously installed any Gingerbread rom.
No wipe needed. Always make a nandroid backup before flashing roms.

Since this is going to be my few last posts I will be nice , stock Samsung file manager requires very different framework and will not work, and using the magical and whimsical search button you will find a howto on porting the Samsung keyboard to cm7

I've been trying to find the link as well. Unfortunately, chinese is not one of those languages that translates well with a computer program.

Click on the green square, then a pop up window will open, then just click on the blue square and the download should start automatically ... no sign in or log in need it.. I just downloaded and about to try it out ... let's see how it plays

Would you like help working on this??? Reaching out to make a bigger community. Althought i would love to see JOY OS make it to the bolt. But looks like we may never see it. I understand the dev may not know english well. But i will take a look at this for my next project if you would like me to. Just got a few fixes and tweaks to do to jellyblur and its all set. Then i can start this.
Can someone that got the link to work put a mirror up please

Well, Lewa OS is a modified MIUI essentially.
HERE is their site and some images.
NickxxSfk at Rootz had made a port for the Thunderbolt as well, it may be more Verizon ready then this one.
But nice to see more development regardless.

Thank you santod. I've run sfk's lewa build, but was more curious about what is working or not. I'll just try it myself, that's the easiest way to answer my questions about the rom. And yeah, more development is always appreciated.

dialer - use titanium backup to delete if your having issues and replace with your choice then do a battery pull as you will probaly encounter a force close
playstore cant connect to google servers even on wifi...... possible fix delete market apk and install new one...update it worked for me but still no connection to google servers
gmail same problems as playstore
use the following to fix problems with gmail playstore and background data
problems
under accounts and sync background data and auto-sync are turned off by default
also under location and security gps satellites is disabled by default
also under settings phone/performance/google services/switch market is disabled by default uncheck
there are still many force closes when using many different apps im still working on this and will post back soon
Wow, really nice ROM man, smooth, fast, nice animations, if only we had data working on this. But still very nice.

Has anyone else tried NickxxSfk's MIUI-Lewa rom? It's pretty awesome. Couple glitches and no MMS but a pretty sweet rom overall.

I tried it. I wasn't aware that it was basically elements of lewa integrated into miui, and that mms wouldn't work before I tried it, and there were some FC issues, but i enjoyed running it.
