Found this on appbrain but it seems to have disappeared from the market. Anyone know where I could get it? Looks like it is way better than TiKL

I would have expected that your Android build came preloaded with these two apps. Which ROM are you on? You could do either a search on the forum or via Google and find the Google Maps apk and Google Talk apk and load them onto your phone to install and activate.
I tried to search them in the market, but cannot find them by the Market app installed on my phone.

Look in a CyanogenMod ROM thread for a link to gApps, it should have them in it. I wish the tapatalk app had a link feature, I'd look around for ya n post a link

And we care why?
Without all the stock apps on the phone you can't get the Gingerbread update. That's why.

People always complain about Motorola/Verizon bloat. So I thought I'd document it somewhere, for the record.
I was hoping someone with an HTC Incredible or Thunderbolt would post their list of standard/stock preinstalled apps, so that we can compare the Motorola vs HTC bloat factor

Still 46 apps, but some apps from Android 2.2 are not showing up in the listing (eg. "3G Mobile Hotspot") for some reason, and some new apps.

I believe that in Gingerbread the 3G Mobile Hotspot is integrated into Settings.APK, or some other system APK.

And Google is forcing their "Books" app on everyone now.
Are they trying to take some market share from Amazon Kindle?

Not all of these are bloat. Market? Camera? How about list all non-essential bloatware.

[Q] Apps not compatible with Atrix? Problem with ro.build.fingerprint?

Hi,
I am running CM7 on my Atrix and recently I realised a lot of apps cannot be updated/downloaded onto my Atrix as it says they are incompatible, even Facebook for Android, which apparently has an update today.
I suspect it is the fingerprint... Mine is below:
ro.build.fingerprint=MOTO/olyatt/olympus:2.3.4/4.5.91/110625:user/release-keys
Is that right or can someone share with me what is their fingerprint?
Or what else could be wrong?
Thanks!
If you are using chainfire3d, change the settings back to the settings of Atrix4G and you should be fine. Otherwise, I don't know what problem you could be having.

Just use your phones web browser instead of the market app, not a fix but will get your apps to your Atrix

Oh I realised it was because of the LCD Density.. I just had to revert to 240 and all the apps work again. Thanks

Kingsoft and quick office not compatible

Hey all
In my play store my kingsoft office and quick office etc show up as not compatible. This was after I flashed paranoid android 2.12. Can someone please help? I need my office apps to work.
Don't have enough posts to directly post in developer thread so kindly help.

Im guessing something to do with your dpi settings, change the playstore dpi to stock 213 or 160, and you shouldn't have compatibility issues with them apps, kingsoft works great for me
Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk 2
Thanks a ton bro. That actually worked. I was at dpi300 and 800x. Once I was back in Stock a lot of apps became accessible.
Problem solved
