I would definitely do some research regarding flashing your phone, 23569 & 29105 are not determinations in the type of HD2 you have. They are just different versions of WM, one being 6.5 (29XXX) & 6.5.5 (23XXX). Either one will work for your HD2 (be sure to verify that the rom you are flashing is Tmo compatible, most are but flashing a non TMOUS Rom will leave you with a brick)

I thought i would start this thread, since its kind of like a jungle to figure out what roms works on the new 2.09.51.03 radio.. So i hope that developers would post in here whether their rom works on it or not..
Symptoms of non working rom:
Unable to make calls and recieve calls
Poor sound quality
Poor audio

Artemis - Go here
ROMeOS4 - Go here

Artemis 7.0 works : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=612580
Mine works (see my sig)
ROMeOS4 v4.05a
The OzROMs do, as they are base 1.72
Isn't that the distinguishing feature, simply that no 2.10 TMOUS ROMs are compatible with this Radio, since it is not a TMOUS Radio?
Nahh no rom with 576mb works, artemis v7 is 2.10 and works great with radio 2.09.

mine does (1.72 based)
Would be nice if an admin would make this thread a sticky.. Really hard to figure out what rom to choose, when there are so many to choose from.. And in my experience, the 2.09 radio is the best made, for battery, reception etc..
Mine works fantastic with Radio 2.09.
Duttys Leo Sense 2.5 HG V1.6 not working....
Im using the latest evo 1.4 rom from Xannytech and this radio is working just fine but the first time it wont boot,i take off the battery and reset, its working fine now, when i restart the device its not working anymore again....so not compatible!
Works fine on Eugenia 1.1.
@ionhide:
to make this post worth a sticky you should update your first post with every rom posted on this thread.

Oh yes of course - Will start working on it immediately!
EnergyROM working
The latest EnergyROM releases are working fine with the 2.09 radio.
I don't think it is necessary for a sticky but it could serve as a information post. The only think to remember is to look at what base build the ROM is built on before flashing. If your not sure PM the cook.
It is very simple any TMOUS base roms this radio will not work. If the ROM's are based on 1.48, 1.66, or 1.72 this radio will work.
I just updated 1st post - Will be updating later with more information..

For me, the EnergyROM does not work with the 2.09 radio. I tested with 23549 MaxManila, and 23541 MaxManila before, none working. The phone can bootup fine, but you cannot make any phone call. No sound when call, and lockup after call hungup.

I'm not sure but he maybe using some drivers from the 2.10 in his ROM. If you try the 2.08.50.08 radio and it works then this is most certainly the case.

[Q] Clean WM ROM (based on 3.14) to run Android on T-Mobile HD2

I'm looking for clean (minimal) ROM to use as base for Android ROM. It has to be for T-Mobile HD2 (based on official 3.14 ROM). Most of "clean" ROMs here are for International HD2
Any recommendations ?
Also appreciate advise on dual boot application. Thanks

I know that 3.14 works fine as is. But I think that there could be SMALLER roms based on 3.14 with everything turned off, removed, etc ... so it would load faster

It seems that vbn rom is discontinued. Not sure if it matters for base ROM, but it seems it is not based on latest 3.14 ROM

Not sure what you're talking about but VBN core is 3.14. You can also try OzDroid, both are barebones winmo roms for booting android. I've used both, and they both working flawlessly, very fast and no robo voice in android. I've only recently decided to go to OzDroid because the buttons in WinMo are bigger so it's more touch friendly.

[Q] Rom not booting after changing nk.exe

Hello guys,
I was building a rom for HD2 using 3.14 WWE base and 23699 WM build. I was having the problem with very low program memory - about 20 mb free. I searched the forum and what i found is to change the nk.exe with TMOUS one. I did and now the rom is stuck at the welcome screen. Then in oskitchen, i changed the rom from 3.14 WWE to tmous 3.14 and got the same problem.
Any help is highly appreciated.
Use nk.exe for your device. If your device is not tmous device, then dont use nk.exe for tmous.
Be sure to have Radio from 2.08.xx,old radios doesnt works with TMOUS nk.exe,my suggestion is to use new radio from WWE 3.14 the 2.15.xxx.

Is there a good set of FAQ's for cooking for the Leo? I don't own one, but all I ever read about are issues with getting the correct hard spl, radio, and builds. A link would be good for this thread, but even better would just be an FAQ thread on how to cook for the Leo properly.
In my honest opinion ,cooking for LEO is more simple then other old devices, steps are easy, here what i do for my rom:
_Dump newest shipped rom,in my case i have 3.14 Italian.
_Replace Nk.exe from TMOUS
_Change WM build ,in this case i have 23150
_Apply wm 6.5.x fixes
_Load my personal customizations
_ Be sure to have proper Radio for 576 mb enabled
Thats all.
When i cooked for Kaiser the list was double and more ,more ,more reg tweaks, lol

Change HD2 with TMOUS HD2?

I will change my HD2 with TMOUS HD2 one. What do you think about that? I am from Eastern Europe, is this a problem?
Is there enough Android and WM6.5 ROMs for T-Mobile version.
Is it worth the whole, this change?
512MB ROM more
Yes it is worth the change as just about all, if not all, Android ROMs will run on the TMOUS. And most custom ROMs now are based on the 3.14 stock TMOUS ROM. I absolutely love my TMOUS. Just remember you can not flash a 2.04.50.xx, 2.05.50.xx, or any x.xx.51.xx radio to the TMOUS or you will brick the phone. So never ever flash a non T-Mobile stock ROM to it. Also do not flash the 2.01 ROM in the T-Mobile HTC HD2 test and stock ROM thread here on XDA to it as it has a 2.05.50.11 radio and will brick a TMOUS.
Are the Android builds for T-Mobile HD2 better than regular HD2?

You must know more about it then mecause I am notaware of any Android ROM that is spacificaly for the TMOUS. If it is please pointmy tothem and I will try them out. I currently am using Hyperdroid on my TMOUS and it is great. I went withHyperdroidas I did stood bit of reasearching on the Android ROMs and thought Hyperdriid sounded best to me, now that was just my opinion not a definitive statement. I have a link to it in my sig if youwantto check it out. Nowasfor your question most of the Android ROMs run great on the TMOUS fromwhat Ihave read. I am also member of the T-Mobile forums and every one therethathas went NAND Android loves any Android ROM they try.
