Sounds only coming from Earpiece - HD2 General

I just got my HD2 earlier today, and twice for no reason all sounds suddenly start only coming out of the earpiece instead of the external speaker. A battery pull has fixed it in both situations, but I was wondering if anyone else is experience this and/or knows of a more permanent fix?

Volume issues; blown speaker???

I just received a replacement dINC because I was having several issues with my original phone. I've noticed that my replacement has a terrible volume capacity. I turn it all the way up and it's still quiet. My original phone was so loud when I would receive calls and notifications. Is there a possibility that a speaker could be blown? Anyone else experiencing these issues?
I have the one from release and i think mine is blown also. But mine isn't low it sounds garbled. take the back cover off and see if yours has a little screen over the speaker spot. It should be right above the magnet

My phone is also from the release and it is very garbled. It seems if you search Google alot of HTC phone end up with blown speakers. I am getting a replacement this week.

I'd do a factory reset and see if it remains the same.

HISS during normal operation.

I have searched the thread for other similar issues but mine seems to be unique?
Occasionally if I put the rear speaker to my ear I can hear a hissing sound, and more often than not when it's doing that I get no audio notifications for incoming texts or email.
Others have reported hissing when listening with headphones that lasts for one or two seconds after a system sound, but with my handset it last for a couple of minutes and prevents other sounds from coming to the surface!
Anyone else having this problem?
Any known cause/solution?
no one getting the same issue then?

Issue with Speaker

I noticed for the past couple of days that the sound is louder from the left speaker than the right. Since I watch a lot of videos, it is starting to get really annoying to the point I'd rather wear headphones. Anyone else seeing this issue? Is there a fix?

[Q] Static coming from earpiece speaker

Just noticed this, if the screen is on there is static noise coming from the earpice speaker, its not that loud though.
Same if the screen is off but its alot more quiet.
Anyone else experiencing this?
EDIT: So I googled a bit more, and looks like alot of N4 suffer from this problem
https://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=39936
its not normal but its very common in the nexus4, it was one of the criticism when it was released, I can still hear mine after 1year, I haven't noticed it till you brought it back up.

Sound issue - loose connection?

Hey guys, I was wondering if anybody else has had this issue.
My sound sometimes goes really quiet, often when I remove the cable after charging. This leads me to having to reinsert the cable and wiggle it about a bit to get the volume to jump back up... Then carefully unplug.
Sometimes I can fix by pressing about on the lower grill of the phone with my thumb, until it bumps up the sound again.
I thought it was just the speaker, but I was listening to music with earphones earlier and I swear it randomly and suddenly just dropped as well?!
That I cannot live with as my inner audiophile will get angry ?
Is this a common hardware issue? Any suggestions on possible fixes?
Just now I thought a video had no sound as I was watching.
I then pushed in the middle of the bottom of my phone and sounds appeared (quite low volume)
Kept pressing until the volume bumped up considerably.
This is a problem that makes me want to buy a new phone.
Nobody else had this?? If there's any easy fix I would rather do that than purchase a new phone ?
