Can the low Batt alarm setting be adjusted?

Hi, i am kind of fedup when my Low Batt warning keep on popping up when the battery level hit 40%.Can the low Batt alarm setting be adjusted to sound at lower level of low battery, like about 20%.
Thanks
try Low Battery Notification Fix at http://www.yorch.net/apps.htm
Thank you very much for the information thread.
You are most welcome, Intruder
But for me, I like the low batt warning to be at 40%, but i only use the sound & vibration notifications, without the popup message on screen 8)

Driving illumination

Hi. Is anyone else annoyed by the high illumination of the screen whilst driving, especially at night? Does anyone know if there is a fix out there for it?
Apart from keeping the screen closed..! like to have it open so I can see who is calling, setting it so the screen is at minimum illumination and shuts itself off after a minute whilst on power, but it's still too bright and well the next setting down ain't much help.
Great toy, but it's really starting to annoy me. Any advice, greatly appreciated.
Cheers
You could always wear some sunglasses  or put it in a dark plastic ziplock baggie...hehe

sounds like u need:
1. fag lighter charger to prevent shutoff
2. a dark theme to reduce the brightness
- edit -
I have the charger. That's fine, what I meant was I had set the settings to dim the screen after a minute (that's the minimum you can select whilst on charge), not that the unit was switching off. Sorry for confusion. My issue is the difference between the two lowest levels of brightness. With one you can see the screen, with the other you can't. What's this dark theme you mentioned? Is it between the two?
What would be great would be a night level similar to what TomTom offer on their gadgets.
Alternately you can use a profile management program such as pocketzenphone or the still under development phonealarm and set a profile for night driving with reduced screen brightness.
Kind Regards

Low Battery Light

Well, when battery going to die on the G1, the light flashes red. Which all it does is take up the little battery you have left. Any way to turn it off or an app that maybe can?

That LED takes up very little battery power if any. Trust me, if you're that low on battery power, then you have more issues to worry about than an led being on. That thing probably draws like 1/10 of a watt.
Aside from whatever power it draws, I'd like to be able to turn off the low power light because it overrides other notification lights. It doesn't let me know anything aside from the fact that the power is low.. It'd be nice if they could rotate or something.

Now that makes more sense as I have had the issue as well when I charge my phone while sleeping.
I asked the dev of Missed Call awhile ago if you could change the color of the charging and low battery. He said he couldn't because there is no change in something, I think no change in the HEX code or whatever.
Maybe he could try again, I would ask him since he was able to change the colors for everything else.

Camera LED as notification

Is there any way (app, reg hack) to make rear LEDs blink on missed call or message? Front green/amber LED is too small and often hard to see. Battery consumption may be a problem, but rear LED doesn't have to blink as often; quick flash (e.g. 100ms) every 30s would be ok.
The developer of TorchButton might be able to help you.
Search the forums on that name and send him a PM.
the idea is wicked
how come no one ever thought of this
That´d be totally cool. And worth a donation.
"Whoa, your mobile´s cam got insane....! -No, I just got a text "
Can see it being a big battery drain if your not around to dismiss it.
+1 for this
Great idea!
Camera light or maybe light of hardware buttons..? Would be cool!

Light of hardware buttons would be very cool too..
Yes, hardware buttons light would also be nice. PMed TorchButton dev, hope he can help...

I got your PM.
I'm sure this is possible, but it would probably create a battery drain while notifications are busy. This is because the device must be in unattended mode (not in standby, display off). Unattended mode is required as the flashlight and the keypad light don't stay enabled if the device is in standby. Let alone be able to make it blink with an interval.
So, while there is a notification (i.e. missed call or unread text), battery drain would go up like at least 50%.

Thank you for research on the topic, and your reply. Too bad it can't work in standby.

Battery Level Indicator using the punch hole

Hi all. Been with my S10+ for almost a month now, and this device is kicking ass.
Just missing one thing though, and it's the battery indicator using led light. For the notifications, I use Holey Light by chainfire. For the battery indicator, I tried energy ring, but I but comes short as it won't show on AOD.
Does anyone know any app that uses the punch hole for battery level indicator? Like when charging, it'll show the led?
Thanks in advance!
Deleted. Read the question incorrectly.
Anyone mates?
Energy Ring is one but there are others.

Thank you for the suggestion, mate!
I've used it, but it turns off on AOD. What I need is something that is still on even on AOD.
