do you speak about this patch "1. Resolves the problem ONLY where the GPS signal is lost when using a 2G SIM card. (more...)" and if,what do you think, is this patch worth?I am not sure that this patch will help

Hi guys,
I have been informed that typhoon is not fully compatible with the 64k sim cards, which can lead into network connection problems. Such problems I really have therefore I would like to ask you if there is some tool or may be some patch in form of a cab installation package, which can improve this situation?
(I already have tried to change the sim for a 32k at my provider, but is not so easy)
Thank you for any kind of information (or experiences) about this issue.

What is your softare version number, 1.72 or 1.84? I had the same issue with 1.72, and that along with other bugs got me to go for a custom rom.
After flashing Android revolution 4.0 along with a new radio I get a fix at my GPS almost immediately.
I think you will find some apps on marked named GPS fix, you could try and see if it would be of any help, don't think it's a offical fix for it yet.

Hi guys. I need to unlock my phone but I've read that it causes wifi problems. I've also read that the bug was fixed with the latest update from Motorola(4.1.5.7).
Can anyone please confirm this?
Thanks
there are some faulty devices. i have mine unlocked and don't have a wifi problem, not with 1.2.6 or 1.5.7

Can you post the thread where you read this?
I was in Spain April 20th-May8 and i unlocked my and used an Orange Sim card...
It took almost a dozen reboots, but eventually i got wifi to work. Data on the other hand... was a nightmate, i think i was using the wrong APN settings and tried a few others, to no avail.
Okay, I searched everywhere and there isnt to much advice on this issue...
I flashed Darkslide 4.2 and changed the boot animation, and then I lost data and wifi shortly after - I did use it after the rom was installed... One thread someone else posted with a similar issue was told that it was most likely the kernel. The only problem I have with that is that I'm on a Droid X andorod version 2.2.1 system version 2.3.340 which is within the requirements for this rom - so i think anyway.
Has anyone ever had an issue like this, or has any advice in overcoming this annoying problem???????????
So I fixed connection issue by reflashing the rom... Now I just have poor reception? Is there a radio fix for this???
can any one help me in how to get both sim 3g working
is there any common patch available
or
what are the changes that should be done in rom before flashing it
please help me at this
