I tried appyling the icons to a rom a while back, wasn't easy. Godspeed my friend, because GANT icons are the shiznotch.

ok i got the fc on setup to stop ,, added rosie , added helix launcher cause the other launcher force closed , its gettin close , so far need to fix wifi , and need apn restore ,

I must say that this theme I my opinion is one of the best looking themes I have seen. I seem to be drawn to the sense based "blue" themes. This theme was worth a detour from sense-able. Love all the options with it. I wanted to see what this theme would look like with adding Kevlar Mash. The pictures are below. Will be using this one for awhile. Thanks to the both of you. The live wallpaper with the bubbles coming right at you was a good touch as well

You should be able to, go to my post #4 and you can see the screenshots of this ROM with Kevlar Mash installed(requires Metamorph).
app 2 sd Confirmed Working
Thought I would drop in and confirm that app2sd is indeed working on this rom. I know that there have been in the past ROM's that say that they support app2sd however many people have not been able to set it up. See attached. I'll say it again great ROM.

apps2sd wiped my phone including my navigation and google maps
I'm loving this ROM but now I can't use the gps now? It was there before I put apps2sd on.

I Have been talking to the dev over on that board about porting to the Vibrant, here is what he said:

No. I think they're using the new radio partitioning in .6, so it needs a new kernel.
Sense is really nice. I didn't even know it was ported to the captivate, sure do hope any of the Great devs can work on this.

i have a question. do you want a port of just all the apps to look like a sense. i mean you can make a 2.1, 2.2, 2.3 all look a sense with all the new sense apps and such but it depends on what you want. if you want the sense gingerbread than thats alot more work. there are alot of options, but you gotta realize that the new sense works off of hardware not found in most phones. sooooo you gotta take that into consideration. but i will look at the 19000 port and see what they changed. im finally gonna start making roms, kinda gettin tired of making my own and not posting them. give me a couple of days and you will have it. but i dont know if i want it 2.3 since theres no gps i dont want it. if you have suggestions i will think about it, and maybe port it. but i wont develop if theres no requests.

edit: alot of people dont realize but when a port is brought over its not all the system files that they transfer, all samsung vibrant files are used, so thats why i made a post like this. devs dont create everything themselves and make things work, they keep old files and add stuff to make it like another phone. hence the reason why all roms have a certain base. blah blah blah, sorry been drinking and tired of randomness of roms. pm me if you want this ported the way i do it, which means, framework-apps-some system files into one rom.

I am sure it is sound. Flight mode only comes in I897 ROMs

How do you do it? I mean, honestly... You are even in other people's roms threads, being as generous as if they were your own...

of course , and theres no harm in not knowing .. we all wonder what rom looks like , you said stock , it was more like a 'wink at you' ( since you helped him you must know how it looks )

iluretar, fantastic work. Every since I flashed Watsa's version of JVS (the completely stock version) I have been in love with that ROM. So smooth and so stable. GPS works great on my Captivate and TouchWiz 3.0 is very smooth in this ROM. Not to mention faster data rates...
LOSTLOGIC's Epic ROM does a good job to make the ROM more captivate friendly, but I honestly am a big fan of the stock GB icons. So your ROM (on paper) fits the bill exactly.
Thank you far sharing with the community and I look forward to flashing your ROM. I'll report my experience with it.
You mention Sony Ericsson launcher is added, is TouchWiz still there too? If so, did you figure out how to set the homepage index. I tried every trick in the book (including editting the default.prop) with no success.
Thanks Watsa for sharing your knowledge. I plan on bouncing some ideas off you too once I do some basic research on ROM creation. Also DaGr8, I know you have contributed to the Rogers Captivate community in terms of ROMs and support. Props/thanks to you as well.
Who wants to see a CM 6.1 based rom for the hero with more up to date apps and some basic tweaks so it runs nice for these days on the Hero?
I am building one for myself and it is getting there. still got a little theme problem. Gonna see if I can fix that sorta and then maybe ill release it.
