I cleared both data and cache and got the update within a minute or two. Thanks for the tip!

I did that a few times as well. I just think it doesn't work on CM

Thanks OP! It worked.
For those who aren't sure what to do, this might help a bit.
On your home screen, press menu, then select settings. Navigate to "Applications", then select "Manage applications".
Click "All" and go find "Market", click on it and then click "Uninstall updates", confirm and uninstall, then click "Clear data". Now you can close it and reboot (or turn off and on if you are not rooted).
Then just relaunch Market again, wait for a bit and you should have the latest.
The preloaded game hero of sparta doesn't work after the update from acer...it keeps on force closing....any ideas why??...?

I doesn't have this problem. But after update, I have to download the game data again. It's doesn't matter because it,s only a trial version. Maybe you try go settings > manage apps > clear the data.

I cant install the new FB update on my DZ with Cyanogen 1.7. I get the message "This item is not compatible with your device. "
I tried resetting my pixel density to stock and checked my build.prop against a stock one. I cant see anything wrongt.
In the mean time I found an apk on google so I can sideload it, but still... weird. Will other apps start disallowing the Z soon?
Never heard of cyanogen 1.7 before

Its a bug with cm7. Reset your density, then clear market data, then do a full reboot. should work

I assume you mean "Reset your Desire Z" ... otherwise you have powers/tech/knowledge that I don't think even the smartest/richest people on earth have access to.
Your an extraterrestrial aren't you?
Thanks Jeff, that solved the issue. Now I have 22 apps to update, up from 4
After restoring my apps with titanium I don't see any apps at all in the my apps section in the market. Although when I search for an app it says installed. I tried installing another app from the market but it didn't help. Then I tried doing the market doctor thing in titanium but it didn't help either. I then tried to clear market cache which was impossible to do from manage applications (because of a bug that shows 0.0b for cache and clear cache is greyed out) so I cleared cache partition in cwm but that didn't help either! What do I do to see my installed apps again?? Help!!

I been having that same issue. I have 70 apps and only 2 show in the market "my app" section. I been trying to figure out how to fix this as well.

Sent from my SPH-D710 using xda premium
Wrong section....
Stop using titanium backup and restore only what you can no longer attain from the market .... its always the best idea to fresh install your apps which is a pain but for the sake of cleanliness
Also when you do this you'll end up with a lot less apps because the ones you remember are the ones you Actually use

I had this happen after a fresh install, after a short while all was back to normal on its own. Try a reboot.
Actually I think I cleared cache on gmail which required me to sign in again and I beleive all was normal after resigning into gmail.

What if they're free? and I don't believe there is a way to re-attach them to your market account. I've just stopped backing up apps and re-downloading them

Last I heard Roam Control was no longer available through the market.
I've had it happen for both paid and unpaid. Usually I just wait until the app has an update and then it'll appear. I will sometimes use Titanium to resurrect apps that have left the Market, such as ShootMe, Roam Control, etc.

You are correct, it's available at www.roamctrl.com now. Just wanted to let you know in case you were trying to download it somewhere.
i have the same issue with the market after using titanium... no apps show up in my apps, but all of them show up as installed. the only way i have found that works to find updates for them without searching all of them is to use appbrain, and that will find updates for them. except roam control of course, but it lets you update it thru the app now. by the way MrGreg, i love roam control. it was the first app i paid for and was the only app i bought for a long time lol
Okay I'm on stock and lately whenever an app takes a bit longer to load up it gives me the app not responding and if I hit wait it usually loads up just fine, although I don't know why this is happening should I just do a factory reset and start clean ?

You can also try clearing cache and data from the apps, though a system wipe might be the easiest to get rid of clutter.

That could also work, If you want to try you can download 1tap cleaner from the play store. But I think that the best thing to do is a factory reset...
