I just upgraded to your special edition 1.1 rom !!... it is flippin amazing. I have only had my xda for a few days, so i cant comment on what crap was there before, i can say the programs you have provided are excellent!. Like dos shell and file commander !!
i even managed to put my orange sim in there, and it works perfectly !!!
so much for paying £34.99 to get it unlocked !.
The only prob(little) .. is that when i start the device, it says to me "you need to config the sim card"... but i cant select UK orange ?
is this normal ?, can i download the config or something?

we don't have a uk-orange connection profile yet. but have started this project to get more gprs profiles.

Really depends what do you mean by "Trinity Chinese"
If you want a pure Chinese Trinity ROM, you should visit a Chinese site and pick a right type of Chinese.
If you want an English ROM but capable to display Chinese without add-on program, then you come to the right forum. Yaka's ROM can display both types of Chinese, Japanese and Korean plus some others.

I bought a HD2 from duty free Paris without paying attention it has the french stock ROM
Is there anyway I can install a cab or anything helpful to switch the language to English ?

Yeah thanks but I think I cannot use the other shipped ROMs without HSPL. Correct me if I am wrong.

Since there's no Soft/Hard SPL for HD2 yet you won't be able to just flash a different language ROM.
What you could try in the mean time, is have a look here:

Unfortunately, this is a workaround only for Manila and not the entire OS. I really feel sad as I've read somewhere that cracking the SPL is becoming harder and harder and still not sure if it is going to happen anytime soon. I doubt that even HTC support will care.

Theres not much you can do then as im pretty sure the Roms language cant be changed without flashing a different Rom, which yo ucant do without HardSPL.
Hopefully HardSPL can be done soon but I havent heard much news on it for a while.

I know, we havent had any update recently, the reason why I am afraid that HSPL will not show up anytime soon. If only we can manage to get some good news from Olinex...

I'm from Belgium and if you are not to far away in Germany, I don't mind too to change it with yours!

i think they are just saying that you can install different apps like spb shell that will be in english... i dont think that they are refereeing to some kind of application that can translate the entire rom.
guess we have to wait for hardspl or until QMAT 5.07 and create a goldcard...

The windows mobile arabizer can translate all the OS menus to Arabic language.
I am not sure why such thing is not yet available for English users. The cab is like 5MBs.

JailBreaking T-mobile G1

Hello there i have 1 more thing that i was jailbreaking my HTc g1 and got successfully back to old os but my problem is that i can't skip sign-in process ... i live in Pakistan and its from Uk....so cant use t-mobile network here ... can i jailbreak ...i hav wifi access but can not enable it from G1 .. plz help me ... is there is any way to get jailbreak offline ?? or i have to unroot it??? plzzzzzzz ppls help needed badly..

What is a Jailbreak? Did your phone do something bad?

i want to unroot my fone because i want to use it....jailbreaking required internet from service provider so i can login to my google account and go to the next process ...i do not live in Uk thats y i need to unroot my G1 so i can just use it /no modification / no custom roms.....if u can help plz tell me how to unroot it

I would use the latest OpenEclair or KingKlick AOSP 2.1 v1.9 but if I was you I would stick to android 1.6 and use the latest Super D ROM. But if you want to use OpenEclair or the AOSP 2.1 ROM you need to have the DANGER SPL.
Here are some tips to help you on XDA:
1) When you "hack" an android device it is called ROOTING not JAILBREAKING.
2) Use proper english with at least decent grammar.

Sorry Jamb, xda can be a bit of an asshole. Here is a good guide on bypassing the google sign in. Like the other guy said, OE and King's v1.9 are good for 2.1 roms, but don't have the speed of 1.6 roms, and they are missing some things (camcorder, etc).

@UberMario ..... sorry for my english...i have jailbreaked many iphones so everytime my mind says rooting and my finger types jailbreaking.sorry again...well i was now able to bypass the google sign screen now the 1 thing remains that i m not able to ROOT it like i got the telnet and its says connection error and also at another site a dude ....theunlockr mention another rooting process but i m not able to compelete it ..how can i root it any other way??

Sry for the titel, but my HTC HD Mini EVER HANGS
There isnt any moment without any crashed and lags !
I restart the Phone 5-10 times the day just because it doesnt reagize to anything !
I just want to take my Phone and take a Baseballstick and......
Its a Problem with the Software I think because Phone is like new and there wasnt any problem with water oder anything ealse ! It didnt fall down anytime !

your father bought it for you, isn't it? Then it cannot be a HD Mini as they are not officially sold in the USA. However it can be bought on eBay or whatever...
There isn't such a thing as WM6.2, the Mini comes with WM6.5.3 (build 23103). Just check your WM build number. (Manila Settings tab -> Info about phone -> Software info)
If it isn't 23103, flash a stock ROM.and see if its better.

But Windows XP says the hotfix exe isnt a right programm for win32
