Does anyone know if the Evo supports In Call Recording (ICR) using both the hanset mic/speaker, Bluetooth headset, and/or speakerphone?
This was supported on several Win Mo and Symbian phones; however, the only Android phone that I've heard of which supports this is the Hero on its original ROM.
Thanks.

I've tried VITO Audio Notes and Resco Audio Recorder and neither of these seem to record the other half a phone call. I'd like to be prepared and have something which can record a call if need be, but nothing seems to work. I've read that this can be down to hardware. Has anyone managed to get anything like this working on the Xperia X1?
Thanks
this thread make me remember, I swear there was an in built call record function back there when this phone was previewed, where is it now?
it waz the providers callable mailbox. LOL
dialed by shortcut
i wish this feature, too. long time ago,.... but no htc device can record a live phone call.
but i hope, that a bluetooth wrapper will come in future. (to redirect audio streams. if the bluetooth driver can capture and send audio streams over air, a fake driver could handle like the bt driver. but without bt-hardware-chip is activated, to save power consumption. the recording app commincates with the wrapper/fake driver as BT-protokoll (fake headset device))
try to use the buildin notes application to record, it may help
I installed Skype a well known problem is that the sound is coming out of my rear speaker:
Why is sound coming out only from the rear speaker of my device with Skype for Windows® phones?
Currently Skype for Windows® phones does not support audio routing to the front speaker.
For best results use a wired headset.

I searched xda-developers but couldn't find anything but posts of a few years back and non of them contained a solution.
Anyone know if there are some "tweaks" that make this possible?
Edit: Maybe this'll work:
New audio switch program for skype and others.
[APP][UPDATED]audioswitch
Windows Mobile - Routing audio through the Earpiece (PPC / SmartPhone)
I would like to report that I'm running Fring on Maple and it is able to switch audio to the earphone.
(Fring can make Skype and SIP calls!)

Are you kidding me? I can't get my ozone to do it whatsoever...I just hear no sound at all when I select "enable earpiece".
Hi
I have installed skype. Audio comes through the loudspeaker, I have tried to route it to bluetooth earpiece ( jawbone prime) or at least use the front speaker.
Unfortunately no results.
I have tried audiorouter V1.0.1, BTaudio and even fring, no results, audio is still coming through speakerphone.
There an option in Bluetooth-> advanced-> play systems sounds through bluetooth but the sound ( my voice ) is distorted to the person I am calling.
Sounds like my voice has been speed up.
Any resoultion ?
Have the same issue
I have a HTC TP2 w/Plantronics Voyager PRO and the same thing I sound like a chipmunk. Skype was no help. Has Anyone figured it out?
Thanks

I had a similar problem, and have not found a solution, but instead I started using Skype To Go and instead of using Skype's software. it is just a regular phone call. Sound quality is much better, but it has it's limitations. I use skype almost exclusively for outgoing international calls and therefore it works for me. (it also works for me because I have a lot of unused minutes)
Hi,
I used to use a Symbian App on my E71 called Total Recall - Recorder. It recorded all incoming/outgoing calls and then sent them via FTP or email for storage.
I cannot find anything similar that works well for WinMo. Does anyone know of such an app?
Just had an email from Killer Mobile Software who make TRR and they said they are currently woking on a WinMo version
Resco Audio Recorder, ACR 1.2.1 (search forum) and many more... But NOW possible only 1-way recording (mic + speaker echo). I wait for solution for 2-way recording
read this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=4973398#post4973398
Well it's here now since march I think. But it doesn't seem to work on my HD2. Killer Mobile has a trial available on their site. When I install that, and try to start the app, the screen goes gray for a moment and then the app shuts down to my home screen ..
currently none of the recorders work as you expect them to, because htc changed how the audio is routed. they only record the other person when loudspeaker is active. you can sometimes make out the other person when it isn't activated, but that is the earpiece noise carrying through the phone to the mic.
i use audio notes touch, and just remember to activate loudspeaker for ones i wanna save.
Has anyone been able to get in-call recording to work on the Tmo US HD2 in full duplex using the handset, speakerphone, and/or Bluetooth headset?
Thx.
James
Nope
I'm also trying different things but so far no success (3rd party programs also don't work)
i have used acr on touch pro 2, will try it out on hd2 and report
i can confirm that auto call record works fine on hd2, records without or without confirmation. you can set it in options if you wish to save the file or not.

What image are you using? Are you sure its the recording is not just echo from speaker?
Audio Notes Touch, it working on hd2
