Has anyone been able to get in-call recording to work on the Tmo US HD2 in full duplex using the handset, speakerphone, and/or Bluetooth headset?
Thx.
James
Nope
I'm also trying different things but so far no success (3rd party programs also don't work)
i have used acr on touch pro 2, will try it out on hd2 and report
i can confirm that auto call record works fine on hd2, records without or without confirmation. you can set it in options if you wish to save the file or not.

What image are you using? Are you sure its the recording is not just echo from speaker?

Does anyone has any voice and call recording software for TMO Wing?
Thanks in Advance
vito audio notes is a pretty good program. It auto records calls, but it isn't very clear unless you use the speaker phone. For some reason it used to work alot better on the tmo dash than it does on my wing.
Hi,
I used to use a Symbian App on my E71 called Total Recall - Recorder. It recorded all incoming/outgoing calls and then sent them via FTP or email for storage.
I cannot find anything similar that works well for WinMo. Does anyone know of such an app?
Just had an email from Killer Mobile Software who make TRR and they said they are currently woking on a WinMo version
Resco Audio Recorder, ACR 1.2.1 (search forum) and many more... But NOW possible only 1-way recording (mic + speaker echo). I wait for solution for 2-way recording
read this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=4973398#post4973398
Well it's here now since march I think. But it doesn't seem to work on my HD2. Killer Mobile has a trial available on their site. When I install that, and try to start the app, the screen goes gray for a moment and then the app shuts down to my home screen ..
currently none of the recorders work as you expect them to, because htc changed how the audio is routed. they only record the other person when loudspeaker is active. you can sometimes make out the other person when it isn't activated, but that is the earpiece noise carrying through the phone to the mic.
i use audio notes touch, and just remember to activate loudspeaker for ones i wanna save.
Can HD2 Recored the calls?
If it can, what's the best software for that?
I'm busy right now...... so please help me...
Thank u
most incall recorders will work
BUT
they will only record the other person if you have loudspeaker on. HTC changed the way the audio is routed, so none of teh recorder software will work, unless its on loudspeaker. (I think this is also the same reason lots of skype type apps dont work, too)
Dear community,
the mic seems to work perfectly fine when I record videos.
However my voice messages on Whatsapp, as well as any recordings with the built in voice recorder don't record properly. There is only strange noise, hissing.
Do you know Any solution?
Thank you!
Kevin
Update: when I switch to "interview" mode while using built in voice recorder the recording comes out fine.
Does anyone understand what is going on?
I'm very interested in grabbing this phone but apparently it's no longer a dev edition so if you unlock the boot loader you can't return it. Can someone test Skvalex's Call Recorder for me before I buy it?
Trial of app is here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=3492762&d=1443730003
If you can test recording both incoming and outgoing that'd be awesome. I greatly appreciate the help!
Heyo, it works a treat
but it didnt work for me i set auto call recording, and it recorded nothing
spazzwig thanks! When your post says "phone mic" that doesn't mean it's recording the other side from its own mic right? (Recording speakerphone kind of thing)
Aftab_khatri are you rooted?
Thanks
yep rooted and xposed.
Aftab interesting. Well it works for spazzwig so I'll get the phone and give it a shot
Thank you both for all the help
Aftab, did you install/setup ALSA?
My previous phones worked with the standard api method, but the Call Recorder settings profile for MXPE specifies ALSA which is a separate install that requires root as well. Since I set that up recording is working flawlessly. The fact that there is a settings profile for MXPE indicates Skvalex is probably confident in the support as well.
FBIR correct, the other side is recorded internally, not like many of the non-root recorders that do the faint mic/speakerphone thing. Both sides have been recording as loud and clear as the call itself. I just meant I haven't tried recording over wired or bluetooth headset, speakerphone, etc -- only standard "phone-to-ear" calls. Just note the above regarding the additional ALSA install.
Spazzwig awesome! Thanks so much for the details. I'm not too concerned about Bluetooth or other headsets so if they work, that's just a bonus. I guess it's time to order the phone

Alsa is a free app from the same developer that adds some audio drivers and a mixer
