Provide us more details about changes and from which ROM is those packages
Is it possible to cook it with EXT packages from 2.13 or 1.7x leaked rom?
Also the Manila_Footprints is missing.

many thanks for sharing,Cloudyfa

Thread added into the repositories list Thanks Cloudyfa you always got amazing news

thanks for sharing...

Well... I got to tell you all that it's from a CDMA2000 device so it lacks some function on GSM network. It's an operator customized Manila 2.5 and if you truly want to use it, don't use the Manila People package in it.

Did you use the packages as they are or did you change something.
If I just add the packages the homescreen is not starting. I just get the message "Launching HTC Sense..." then after a while I get "Tap here to launch HTC Sense"
Trying it on a Topaz with ROM 2.54 SYS 21904 EXT 21891
edit:
In the reg file of Manila core it says "Rhodium S2", wondering why it doesn't work on the Topaz.

It's working perfectly on my HD2 with 23569 - it's certainly not operator customised. It looks very similar to the Rhodium 20121225 (full landscape) version I was using before.
Thanks for sharing

It is working perfect for me too....

It certainly is. The People tab MASD is CS_Manila_People, the MASD in the packages may be changed. And these packages come from a operator customized ROM.

I'm sorry, maybe I should have qualified my statement further:
Although this manila version may have originated from a Rhodium, operator customised ROM, there is no outward appearance of customisation.
Visually, and functionally, there is no difference to the Rhodium 2012 1225 manila I used beforehand.
If you can elaborate as to the CDMA customisation that breaks functionality on the people tab for GSM users, we would be very grateful (as it appears to work perfectly in all areas).
Thanks again to Cloudyfa for sharing!

I didn't cook it in, but since the People tab is from a world phone(CDMA GSM dual mode), there should be functions missing or unneeded in the People tab. So I recommend changing the People tab.

Isn't this too small??

Indeed... it is quite colorful
MS is going quite bold with colors for win 6.5.. but I like it
I like the blue one, very similar to udK's R6.
just nice and cozy.
@arkavat
nice enhancements there
i have a note for you though
the topaz and rhodium use a different version of HTC menus
The one you posted is for the topaz
Here is my glossy black for the rhodium, you can use it as a base for the layout
Hi,
these should be in this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=3628390#post3628390
it is everything to do with WM6.5 designer themes and the extras, first post is the actual themes and the second if for all other WM6.5 extras.
would anyone mind if i added this stuff to the collection.
keep designing new stuff here but can i add the completed/tested stuff to my post?
thanks in advance!

From what i understood it is Rhodium menu enhancements to compliment WM6.5 themes, and the title of the thread is "[THE] WM 6.5 Theme Colours..."
Also, regardless of whether people are going to use these on WM6.5 or WM6.1, the same files get replaced in both versions of windows therefore the thread should just be called "rhodium/topaz colour enhancements"
WM6.5 themes dont work on WM6.1 so why have the matching colour enhancements? which is why i asked!!
I can still post links to them in my thread though right?

The colour enhancement is a pack of files modified by an user for matching colours of WM6.5.
It'll work even on WM6.1 because it is only a file replacement for HTC Rhodium that works on 6.1!

sure. I did think of posting them in your thread, but as kholk pointed out.. these can be used in Win 6.1 as well.
However, I agree with you that they will be primaraily used for win 6.5. Please go ahead and post these in your thread also. I will continue to update them here and notify you, so you can update as well. and/or you can add a link to this thread.
@ Giannis86
Thanks! I will start working on them as well.

Hi all. I was trying to change the colors of the menu using the orange HTCMenus.bmp on a cooked-in Menu Enhancement (ROM: Cloudy_1.1) but this messed-up the top and buttom af the menu. The selection colours were ok. Any clue?

How to update Manila only to 2.5.1922?

Hi all,
I got a noob question? I see that many ROMs come up with Manila 2.5.1922 and some application specifically ask for that version number. I have just updated my ROM to 1.66 WWE and the Manila version is still 2.5.1921. I wonder is there any difference between the two? If 1922 is better, how can I upgrade?
Thanks,
NTD
unfortunately you cannot upgrade Manila/Sense on its own....apparently it is so complex and deep into "wm" system that it has to be done when you cook new rom (i said apparently as you can find ported Manila/Sense for VGA devices, so effectively it is possible).
as for the diferencies, main one is an extra tab where you can flip through the documents same way as through pics... and of course is some more added tweaks, options and it's more polished then previous one...
as for you saying that some apps asking for the specific version of Manila/Sense?!?!?! never heard about a piece of soft (which is not a Manila tweak) to be made for a specific version...can you give us an example please??

Thanks for the info. What I meant about the soft is that it has the Manila 1922 on the title, i.e.: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=620491&highlight=1922
Anyway, I will try a cooked rom then.

Removing Manila in osKitchen

I've been playing around with oskitchen building my first ROM. I've been searching like crazy and can't find the answers I need. Since this is my first attempt at cooking I'm modding the stock AT&T Tilt2 ROM (21849) from the HTC website and have a couple questions..
1. I only use Titanium and don't want Manila cooked into the ROM. I've found Manila_ATT_2_1_19183217_0 in the EXT tab of oskitchen and unchecked the box. Is this all I have to do to keep Manila from being cooked in?
2. This stock ROM has NETCF 2.0 in the SYS and I'd like to replace it with 3.5. How would I do that? Rip a 3.5 folder out of another build and place it in my SYS folder?
3. I recmodded the packages as instructed in this post in the kitchen thread..
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=5714524&postcount=439
are there any other dll folders I need to recmod?
Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

1- Exactly.
2- Exactly. Or just find a NETCF package. I've seen it somewhere.
3- No, if you have native 6.5 NK And tilt2 has it. Also search for it somewhere and rapleace it in your kitchen. (if it is not here already) (Assuming you want to use 6.5 builds, otherwise simply ignore this.)
Thanks a lot for the info! Getting close to cooking this thing. Yes, I'm using 6.5 and osKitchen tells me that it is a native kernel.
I found this post...
http://www.mobileunderground.info/showthread.php?t=3841
and was wondering if it was safe to de-select any of the packages listed there that are dependent on Manila, since Manila is not going to be installed on my ROM. I am checking to see which manila-dependent packages in my build correspond to ones on that list. So far the ones I am unsure of are..
Contact Utility Engine
HTCFontLink
NewContactCard
Any others I can safely remove? Also going through and removing HTC apps/utilities I don't use. Its a PITA searching for these individually so i can find out what they do.. I started this thing over a week ago lol. So far I've removed..
SignatureReplace - sigs in email and messages
Redial - used for redialing through BT headset
PTT - safe to remove?
MenuEnhancement - from what I gather is for the fullscreen menus..
LockscreenAppLauncher (removing this will keep the WM lockscreen?)
HACSetting - for hearing impaired people
FullScreenPlayer - for use with htc album
FacebookEngine - for Manila
Audio Manager
Album - HTC Album
App_Service
Oh yea... and how do I determine the page pool size?
Thanks for any and all info.

Baby steps lol. I'm new to this cooking thing so I wanted to start off modding the ROM it came with since I've been using it for a while and I have a decent idea of what I want changed. I have a lot to learn and I also wanted to know I wouldn't miss on anything carrier specific for my phone, keyboard and other features to work.. I have downloaded this file which is I believe the RhodS2 you are referring to..
RUU_Rhodium_S2_Orange_CH-DE_2.08.72.1_Radio_Rhodium_4.49.25.91_Signed_Ship.7z
I want to get comfortable working with things first. When I finish this ROM I'll start playing with that one. My Tilt2 is my only phone other than some POS SciPhone i68+ I have laying around so if I mess it up I'm up the creek lol. Thanks again for taking the time to answer my questions. I'm sure I'll have some more soon
Watch out removing PTT, it may break your Dialer. AT&T has PTT tied to the dialer somehow.

[SOLVED] Why do most chefs cook Leo dialer into TP2 ROMs?

Hi
As the title says..
Thanks
Cause they want to...
Cause its the newest...
Cause is the most fixed... (as qvga Mega dialer isnt fixed yet)
Cause users ask them to cook it...
Cuz its fun to use stuff not made for your phone!
What a great question!
IMHO, because it's the most functional dialer and have all you need as a phone dialer. (such as video call support)
It's the most updated dialer that has a 6.5.x fix (that I'm aware of)

Actually the most up to date is the dialer from the Huashan ROM which is an actual wvga 6.5.x OEM from the com3.2 branch aka 231xx. Only bad thing is the packages are test packages.
Not ALL cooks do that.. I, for example, cook a Rhodium dialer in my Rhodium ROMs.
neither me... cause....
My ressolution Device cant supports that ress... hahahahah i use Mega's and a custom one

There are many fixes for phone canvas and due to many ppl use the htc leo canvas is the most fixed so.. maybe its the most appropiated one for WVGA for now
