FM Radio no sound. - Click General

I am using fyodor 0.5.3.1 rom and working fine. Tried hacking volume using LVH. There is many options in the app, I was trying best sound for my handset then FM radio makes no more sound.
Is there any option to fix this problem without hard resetting or reflashing the rom??

Do you have the volume turned up?
Do you have the volume unmuted?

I don't use any app for volume control but I turn up the volume to max. and it is not muted.

Mod. edit: not dev related, moved to general

LVH other options seems ok but after choosing "Stock" FM Radio makes no sound how much hard I tried with other options/apps.
Is there any way to return??

FM Radio volume problem

Anyone else having problems with the FM radio volume? I have my Atom Pure about a month now, I have updated to the latest ROM and can play music and sounds at full volume.
However, the FM Radio is barely audible. I have tried soft-reset, ensured the equaliser is off, gone into the FM radio application directly (as opposed to via the O2 plus media), every thing. I have also Googled for an answer and can't seem to find any reference to this problem. I have increased the volume in the FM radio application, but it doesn't appear to have any effect.
To really top things off, I recorded the FM radio to a file, played it back and it was at normal volume!
Any ideas?
Go to "Settings->Headset Volume Limiter" and move the level to right most.
I don't have that in Start->Settings (or anywhere else I can see).
Am I looking in the wrong place?
Did you ever apply Volume Limiter Patch?
Did you ever tried to adjust the volume control on the headset?

Don't I feel the complete and utter plonker? I have only now noticed that there is a volume control on the headset itself.
Problem solved. Doh! And mega-DOH!
Is there a way to increase the volume coming out through the "stereo" speakers on the phone itself?
I find the speaker volume for FM Radio is very low

i have an atom exec and similar problem. setting the headset volume does not help at all.
but there is no issue when playing mp3. looks like the problem is inherent with the fm radio.

Graphic equalizer

I listen to the internet radio through the loudspeaker, never with earphones. Consequently I can't use the audiobooster so I was wondering, is there a standalone graphic equalizer that will work without having headphones attached? I use Wunder Radio.
Also, as a secondary issue, the volume control is a problem. I have to use the up/down volume control on the side of the handset but this means that when I lower the radio volume (even the lowest setting is way too loud), my system volume is then on super-quiet setting after I've closed my radio....and I don't hear my text alerts etc.
Is there a way to adjust the volume in apps without adjusting the phone volume settings?
I'm not sure about the graphic equalizer but you can sort your sound issue by going to Settings>Sound & Display and switching the Single volume setting to off. That will allow you to change system sounds (including the volume of your radio software) without affecting the ring volume.
Use SRS WOW. Search it.

Sorry for the stupid question, but which application do you use for internet radio? Thanks, and happy holidays!

It is precisely the system volume which is my problem, this governs text alert notifications amongst other things. Once you have set system volume levels in the sounds menu, they should stay 'set'. I don't like this ability to adjust them using the volume control on the side of the handset - that should be reserved solely for in-call volume adjustments and application volume adjustments.

Will look into it, thanks.
Thanks Dude, I'll check it out! If I find it...

DHD + CM7.1 in-call volume/sound problems

Other than the issue listed below CM7.1 is awesome! Great work devs!
I flashed CM7.1 from 7.1RC the other night.
I had no issues in the RC but with 7.1 I notice that the volume control does not affect the in-call volume. Regardless of the Volume setting, the in-call speech and dial tones are clipping. I've also been told that the listener has a hard time hearing me.
Has anyone else had this issue and/or know a fix for it?
Thank you.
Change radio

Yep, seems like a bit of a problem with the radio or the ROM. Are you using the recommended radio for the ROM? Try that first. If that doesn't work try a different ROM.
The latest radio with 1003 ril seems to be working for me

I flashed the latest available radio out there for DHD (don't remember the link to the thread, sorry) and it was working flawlessly.
Cheers
I have same problem on my Galaxy mini
I am sorry, I am a newbie.
what do you mean about "RADIO"? that is the radio aplication or phone application (to make a call)?
and how I change it?
Sorry I am not good in english. I hope you understand what I mean.
When I make/answer a call, for the first 10 seconds or so the volume is really loud, and using the volume rocker doesn't do anything. After that the volume then drops to whatever the rocker was set at (which is usually the lowest volume as i've been trying to lower it before) and I can adjust the volume again.
Would this be a radio issue? I am using CM 7.1
i had the same problem
im using the latest stock DHD radio
everytime have to press volume button 1 times then it return back to what i set before
pressing sound reducing button will increase the in call volume, this helped me but any permanent solution for this?

In call headset equalization

I have searched and read a lot of posts on headset volume, but am still confused.
My understanding is that the in-call headset sound can be adjusted by the volume rocker, but otherwise changing the sound (e.g. bass boost, treble boost) is not possible without changing system files or the kernel.
In other words, tools like DSP Manager and Volume+ cannot affect the in-call headset equalization. They only impact media playback.
Is this understanding correct?
On a related note, I read in an XDA forum for another android phone that DSP Manager and Volume+ should not be on the same phone at the same time, i.e. if you want to try Volume+, you should remove DSP Manager first. Can anyone clarify for the HD2?
You understand it.
About DSP and Volume+ at the same time, it is possible but will probably give you static, distortion or Force closes.
So yes if you want to try Volume+ you should remove DSP Manager first.

Yes, upon first launch of volume plus, there is a message that clearly explains the issues when using both. I personally love volume plus

Alternate in-call volume control?

Hello,
my Leo's volume up button is broken and I need to raise my In-call volume. However, this volume can only be accessed in an actual call, with this button (I searched on settings, I only found ringer, alarm and media volume, which could be controlled by touch-pad). Is there another way to raise this In-call volume?
My phone has the DFT-Android installed, I tried flashing back into the original Win6.5 ROM and seeing if it worked there, but it didn't, so I guess it's not a software issue.
Help is appreciated!
Use this:

Enjoy
Use Quick Settings in the Play store
Thank you guys. Decided for Quick Settings. Works like a charm!
