Nexus one home launcher and lock screen on Fresh Rom 2.0b?

Anyone know how to get the Nexus one home launcher and lock screen on Fresh Rom 2.0b?

for the lock screen just goto Godzson's post and scroll down till you see lockscreen fix or soemthing like that. follow those instructions for your lockscreen....

it doesn't work.. I did this and it worked.. but it's mess.. look pic

I've had the same thing happen to me. I'm thinking about trying to push a lockscreen from 2.0 to my phone... it's too late though now and I have homework to do. Pyro, mind trying that?

I can.. but I can't find locksreen apk and don't know what name of file..

You know what? On second though, I actually have no idea where the Android lockscreen is stored... Silly me. The HTC Lockscreen, however, is stored in /system/app/HtcLockscreen

Its built into the core of the Android system as far as I know. its not an individual program .apk that can be installed or pushed.

I'm not so much concerned with the Launcher as the Lockscreen I really want that and maybe if it was clear that would be dope too but mainly just the 2.1 lockscreen

I don't know which one it is, but the GoogleBits v1.9 for AOSP has the lockscreen in there, don't know which apk it is, but it's in there, I pushed it on an vanillia aosp 2.1 that didn't have a lockscreen once i did, it showed up.
and look around for launcher2.apk which is the nexus one's "home"
sorry don't have time to find them both and link them, but they're in darch's thread somewhere. hopefully that points you guys in the right direction
EDIT: oh forgot, after you push the google bits, remove the htc one and it will revert to the google lockscreen, but only after you push the google one *this is important*
EDIT2: oh agian... do a nandroid backup first

I remember that now I did have that lockscreen when I used that rom but it lacked too many things I needed so I went back to Fresh 1. maybe Noj can chime in on this and lend a hand or does anyone else know how I can get that lockscreen

You could, but that's just another app that has to be running

heres a good nexus launcher2.apk
doesnt have the 3d effect but its stable
i am also including a home launcher, to me it looks alot better then the vanilla home

It was a good idea, but doesnt work. I tried it. I think its a lot more involved than that, or at least thats what I gathered from what Ive read. Im missin that sweet lady too..

I just pushed it to and it did worked.. but not stable.. very agressive laggy... still no luck with lockscreen... still same.

it's really only a issue if your using lwp with it, try the other launcher with lwp

is there a way we can get 5 home screens and use lwp? if you push and use launcher2.apk to the phone and use that for your homescreen, lwp screws up your phone. at the same time, using the regular launcher only gives 3 screens... =/

Was wondering if there was a way i can change damagecontrol rom
I wanted to add the
ZenHero Nexus boot screen
Alousis (what ever its called) - see through powercontrol and music player widget
and a bunch of other things like aosp music player and dialer
how do i do these?
P.S. Im kind of a newbie

You will have to find where you need to put things in the frameworks yourself
Not exactly the same, but the process is there.. You need to change some things for the Hero versus Magic.. And stay away from anything GSM.. But that should help you out..
Be aware.. With little linux experience. It can be a headache.
Also. I'm not totally sure that's what you are asking for, if you just want to add apk's, etc., check out the guides WIKI on our forum

its easy to push and pull apps with sdk installed and using android commander. theres a start.

Im with this guy I want to learn how to add the AOSP dialer to fresh 2.0d. Im assuming I just need to find the right apk's and push them? One for contacts and one for phone.

So nobody has a AOSP contacts.apk that's already been modified to run on DamageControl?? That's all I want!

AOSP Dialer w/ DC or Fresh??

Is it possible to use the AOSP dialer (not the HTC stock one) with DC or Froyo. Right now, every time I make a call using Google Voice or something, the HTC call screen comes up. I don't want to completely scrap Sense because I like some things like the alarm app. Is there a solution?

I posted a reply on the thread started in dev and moved to QA, and I'll paste it here also. Hopefully we can either combine findings or someone will know the answer:
I'm hoping to do the same thing. I like the AOSP dialer and contacts much better.
I have been able to get the AOSP calendar, calculator, clock, browser, etc. to install on DC from bugless beast, so far with no problems.
However when I install some of the phone stuff I just get FCs for everything.
I installed the following apks from bugless beast on DC:
contacts
contactsProvider
Phone
Telephony
FutureDial
And got FCs. I haven't had a chance to try any further. Anybody else have ideas?

I can just install this and it will replace the sense dialer and call screen?

That seems a bit harsh, considering my post with some valid information to get closer to an answer. I think if a few of us work on different ways of doing this, we will probably figure it out.

I did answer how to install the AOSP dialer, it just didn't work. I'm hoping more people than me can actively try to get this to work (I work 50 hours a week and have a kid so I don't have a lot of time on my hands). I'll try to stop arguing and explain how people can work on this
The needed files are contacts, contactsprovider, and phone. However there is apparently something else needed to make them work properly. It could be adding another apk, or removing another apk, or even editing some other file (config file, framework file, etc.)
So I'm trying a post in the development section. Hopefully they don't kill it. I have included careful instructions on how to install this stuff, and my progress so far with the dialer. If other people keep trying, hopefully we can figure it out. I can say that just installing that contacts.apk will probably not work, since contactsprovider.apk is almost certainly needed.

This error is because the nand partition isn't mounted yet. Issue "adb remount" before.

It will clearly work with a rooted EVO Rom. See the thread below for an example:

Yes, it certainly CAN work. I wish some of the people that have made it work in those ROMs would follow up with us and let us know.
Most interesting thing so far: in that thread I posted in the dev section, someone said it worked with pre 1.47 OTA ROMs. I'm hoping to try a few things soon to see when it does or doesn't work.

Fresh 0.53 is a Pre 1.47 Rom. I've been trying with that for almost a month. I even tried porting over the files you listed in your other thread. All I get is force closes.

[Fix] Wallpaper issue with CM6 build

Hi,
Sorry for opening a new thread about this one but it is like most of us with CM6 based build are having issue where in the wallpaper doesn't change or if it changes the lockerscreen is left out. I just saw this fix in a different forum.
What to do:
-go to CM settings>Performance settings>(tick) Lock home in memory

-Sorry maybe It doesn't work with all CM6 build. I just got the work around from a different forum with native androids in there cellphones.
And I've tested it a couple of times. Maybe with some it will/will not work.

I am looking for the notofication pull down widgets.
A cherry pick or a link to a github page is also ok. I can work my way from there.
Can someone help ? I looked into CM9/AOKP/Paranoid Android, but there is so much to search.

I'm guessing apps like Power controls or widgetsoid are out of the question? Also, are you planning on making this into something to add to stock roms or a whole new rom? Just curious.

I want to add this into a AOSP ROM. Which I hope to release sooner or later. If I can integrate that, less RAM will be used in the process than having another app running in the background.

Makes sense. If you get it figured out, I'd love to know how to add it to something of my own.
