Problem after upgrade wm6.1 on polaris

Hello all,
I am in crisis situation.
I purchased the touch cruise (polaris) from authorised dealer in the middle east (my polaris is middle east version) came with wm6 SPL 1.28.000. ROM 0.0.415.2 (sorry I had saved the details in one of the files but I guess it got deleted. so I dont remember which ROM version I had)
I wanted to test the diamond TF3d style, so I upgraded. below is the steps I took
1. Hard spl - v2
2. downloaded _HTC Touch Cruise_RUU_Polaris_HTC_WWE_3.13.405.0_radio_sign_25.85.30.07_1.59.42.15_Ship.exe
3. installed the same.
4. Installed HTC-CA-Polaris drivers and TF3d.
5. I read somewhere that it works slow and need to upgrade Radio to 1.59.42.23. I did that.
but now my GPS is not working with Garmin also tried TOm TOM which is installed by the WM6.1 upgrade, no luck even the phone is too slow
I want to revert to the original version. please help me find the ROM download and steps to downgrade to original. I can downgrade the SPL to original but need to have the ROM first bcos I dont want my phone to be total dead.
need urgent attention from the experts.

I already flashed with this update and my phone is messed up GPS not working.
I wanted to the original wm6 which comes with by default (box packed) touch cruise.
please help.

Which language was your original English or Arabic ?

I did foolishness to get Diamond TF3d on touch cruise and screwed up everything I need to revert.
please if someone has touch cruise WWE version please send me link or if someone can dump one that would be a gr8 help

If indeed it was the WWE version then use the link as post #2
Why not try one of the WWE 6.1 with Manilla for example from M-Amine much better than the stock Rom

[RUU] CustomRUU for Leo

Hi all, I've created HTC Leo CustomRUU patched to perform a 'task 32' instead of a 'task 28' after flashing an .nbh, so it will not format your device if you just flash a radio or a splash screen.
How to: Drop the .nbh file of your choice in the same folder as CustomRUU and start flashing.

Good to see you over here sparkienl I followed your blackstone ROM kitchen thread. Cant wait to dump my Leo ROM and get it into the VK. First plan to get the OS upgraded to one from the COM3 branch. I think having the start button and close button on the bottom will REALLY help LEO one handed operation.

Would this Custom RUU flash a Signed WWE ROM
Would this Custom RUU flash a Signed WWE ROM
to an NL (Dutch) device ?
In other words, would this enable a language change at
the least, without the need for SPL ?

You may need to CID unlock the device (which will come with HardSPL I think). This RUU is no different to the one that ships with the ROM itself, apart from being patched to not hardreset which is a little pointless on a reflash of the OS...

Hello,
I am thinking about buying the Dutch OS HD2 tomorrow (6th of November) instead of waiting the 13rd November for the UK version in the Netherlands.
I have 2 questions:
1) Is it possible at this stage to flash a WWE OS? If yes, how?
2) If I flash it to the WWE OS, am I losing the warranty?

How can I downgrade my x2?
I use clean WM and WM 6.5.2 is cleaner then WM 6.5.3 in ROM from SE.

For THAT you will need for hard-spl..

Of course if someone hacks SEUS to retrieve old images from the updateservice, then i gues you could downgrade..

It did work for me. I installed the UK MR2 (waiting for the Spanish version) and later downgraded to MR1.

How did you manage to downgrade to MR1? What i understand from SEUS, it always get's the latest version available.. But, if you hack the cab i created (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=684323), and create a cab for a language that does not have the upgrade, then that will naturally install the "latest" version (in this case MR1).
But then you have a Spanish version of your phone..

This is just a theory, But if Spain are still waiting for MR2 would it not be possile to use the cabs that hertell has created to set the version you are using and to then upgrade to MR1 Spain BUT install the cabs from MR2 by exiting the customization screen??
Would this not install WinMo 6.5.2 without needing HardSPL

Yes, this would install the spanish version, but then you will have a spanish windows laying under whatever system you have.
BUT.. I noticed that ALL rom-cabs (except about 5 cabs) are the same, so the cabs check from somewhere which language your phone runs, and display from this the proper language.
So, we might have here again a possible way of fooling the installed cabs (applications) to display a different language than the underlying phone in real is running...

Hi, what I did was download the MR1 ROM (any language willddo), extract all the cabs, clear phone mem and just after the screen allignment pres hard reset. After restart it will ask if you want to continiou customization, press NO.
Copy the extracted cabs from the MR1 ROM to your memory card and install every one of them. Some will ask to reboot...press NO.
Agter all the cabs have been installed restart your device, shut down, press volume down and start button, connect to SEUS and tataaaa...your back at MR1 windos 6.5.2.

Yes, but which language did you refer to? SEUS updates automatically to the latest rom for that particular language you installed..
And to avoid the hassle of installing all cabs, then check my other thread over here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=684323
All cabs in all languages are exactly the same. It's just about 5 cabs that differ...

[Q] qtek s110 - help with changing rom

Hello ! I need your help with changing rom in my qtek s110. I bought that device two days ago, it have french rom and I want to change it for english one. I want to ask you with what should I start ? It will be the very first rom change, so I don't know if I should do something before running instalation of the new rom, or just start it without checking anything or instaling other programs before the rom ? If you want a stock rom, get one here (USA or WWE = english):

Extract the *.exe with Winrar and replace the Romupgrade.exe with MaUpgradeUt_noID.exe, execute it, and follow the instructions.
Or get one of Cotullas ROMs (Follow the instruchtions mentioned in the thread). It's a little bit buggy and the camera may not work (depends on version you chose) but it's WM6/6.5

Personally I believe that you should start with Cotulla's WWE 03. That will give you a stable WM6.1 and the instructions are in the post, and also cotulla's homepage.
It also has camera if you needed it for anything. From there you can decide whether you want to goto newer versions or if you are happy with 03.

[Problem] Official Finnish ROM - Stays English

Hi Everybody
I wanted to put my phone on Finnish so i installed the official rom from the HTC website. Before i had an English Custom rom installed. I tried the installation now 3 times but the complete rom and sense interface stays completly in english. The device information in the settings says under rom version: 1.56.414.0 (43972) WWE i guess the WWE is what you dont really want to see if its supposed to be a FIN rom.
I had downloaded this file what i think isnt the problem: _HTC Touch HD_MR_2009_RUU_BlackStone_HTC_FIN_1.56.414.0_Radio_52.62.25.34_1.13.25.24_Ship.exe
The installation runs smooth without any errors. I installed from my windows machiene thru active sync
Can anybody help me or give me a hint what is going wrong here ?
