Hi all, I've created HTC Leo CustomRUU patched to perform a 'task 32' instead of a 'task 28' after flashing an .nbh, so it will not format your device if you just flash a radio or a splash screen.
How to: Drop the .nbh file of your choice in the same folder as CustomRUU and start flashing.

I think having the start button and close button on the bottom will REALLY help LEO one handed operation.

You may need to CID unlock the device (which will come with HardSPL I think). This RUU is no different to the one that ships with the ROM itself, apart from being patched to not hardreset which is a little pointless on a reflash of the OS...

Hello,
I am thinking about buying the Dutch OS HD2 tomorrow (6th of November) instead of waiting the 13rd November for the UK version in the Netherlands.
I have 2 questions:
1) Is it possible at this stage to flash a WWE OS? If yes, how?
2) If I flash it to the WWE OS, am I losing the warranty?

I'm not sure. But why don't you give a try? Download the ROM, start flash after ActiveSync. If it goes further then you're lucky. Else it says incompatible device and thats it. No harm.. Just try..
I am doing it for first time. So I would like to know wherther it will brick my device if it is not compatible and also I would like to know it Artemis Vanilla 4.02 is a good ROM or not

This is one of the best rom I have used at my P3350! But remember to use USPL before flashing your device.

Here is USPL: Artemis Update SPL (USPL) v.01, you can use that or, if you download meschle rom, use Step 1, then Step 2

You have not mentioned which HTC model. It works only on HTC 3300 Artemis & HTC 3350(Love)

You have to first unlock your cid. This can be done by clicking start uspl in the folder

Artemis 4.02 lite with 4side cube
hey this is best rom for HTC love. This is my 3rd day after installing it and it is extremely stable, less battery hungry and reasonable fast.

I had done clik to uspl but the process is stoping there and is telling wrong connection.Then if i run the ROMupdate.exe is stoped at 3%.Thank a lot for help.

I just got my HTC Touch Cruise back from repair and have the newest Roms installed (not WM6.1 but WM6.0. I can post the RAW files too if someone wants them.
Since the repair my connections and sound are very very much better than before. I have no problems anymore.
I only dumped my Rom and rebuild it. I have not tested it, because my device works great now. Please let me know if it works for you.

It is only the OS. I wasn't able to rebuild .raw files to Radio and Splash rom. Maybe someone can help me with that.

Warranty is most likely to be declined if using a custom rom.
As said before, the dumped rom i tried, it's incomplete. HTC home and some other programs are not installed by default. I suggest to wait a few days till I have some time to make a custom rom from the dump that is complete.
If you have some time, you can make a dump of your rom. (maybe i can try that one also?) So you always have a base to return too.
b.t.w. wait for syrius R1, the r0 has some irritating bugs (or some call the features)

First of all,
if you want to flash another rom, you need to hard-spl or uspl your device.
but besides that, you also need a german backup-rom for waranty purposes. this can only be done, if someone is willing to do a romdump on his MDA basic.

I have an HD2 from Orange in France.
SSPL falshing works perfectly for me but there is not a single original rom that I find compatible to my device so if it should brick at the next try I have nothing to get back to.
So my first question would be how to get my hand on an Orange rom.
And it would be great if that rom would have a newer radio than 2.04 since my device has this on.
Or is there another possibility without HSPL to flash another radio newer than mine??

Install shipped ROM 1.61 with Goldcard. So you will get the new Radio. Afterwards you can install other ROMs with SSPL.
Is there no way to flash the new 1.61 ROM with SSPL, that would make life much easier ? So I will get the newest radio ? I can get the RUU_signed.nbh from the 1.61 ROM and then flash with SSPL, or will that not work ?
Edit: already found out; you can flash with SSPL, but then it won't flash the radio ...
Rom 1.61? On HTC site there is only 1.48 or am I missing something?!

so, to summarize, you have a phone in english, you've seen a rom you don't want to flash, so you are asking our advice,,,,
my advice would be to hspl and then flash any english (wwe) rom you want. get the latest stock roms from the "leo official roms" thread in rom development.

I do not understand!For years i wanted to try one of the ROMS in this website but for the life of me cannot understand how to go about it so i stick to ROM UPGRADES from HTC! The 0ne i am now mentioning is still @ HTC.What is your advise pls?

download hspl2
run hspl2choose 1.66.hspl
download the rom you want
if it is a stock rom run it.
if it is a custom rom put it in a folder with customruu.exe and run customruu

In response to the original question yes you can upgrade your phone with the GCC ROM.It will be in english.There will be a value added installer package in your programmes after the upgrade.Dont install that package.That is for converting english to Arabic.
