does anyone know where I can buy an OEM HTC Tattoo white cover, battery cover and bottom cover? ive only seen OEM white housing kits but thats too much when I only really need the cover.

a few weeks ago i checked out the same... as i read, the customized covers are not as stable as the originals... and an oem cover cannot be bought in the store mentioned above - at the end you still have the possibility to create an own image that looks like the oem...
finally i bought my oem cover via ebay... so, i would suggest to check this... if you use the categorized navigation tree, you should also find some white oem covers...
most of the other online shops only offer the standard-covers of tattoomyhtc
not sure, but you can ask for an original one in tattoomyhtc site.

I was wondering if someone knows how to replace the metal frame, since it is dented. Is there a disassemble guide that shows me how to replace it. And from where can I buy the metal frame.
Another question, on ebay they sell htc hd dummy, is the housing case the same quality as the original phone?

"oem housing" is the keyword to search for. But at the moment the original housing from HTC seems to be your only choice - and is certainly overpriced. A number of OEM back covers for the Touch HD are already available, so complete OEM housings will follow soon. You can get an idea here http://dealfon.com/product.asp?cid=61
As for the dummy http://bit.ly/ZLD3 indeed its housing looks quite real. Write to the manufacturer then, and please report back.
do you think replacing the metal frame is easy, from looking at it can you maybe predict how to remove it and replace it?
I would not attempt to do it myself, but let a shop technician do it that is used to do this for HTC devices. Even if I bring my own housing, a flat repair fee should do it.
Does anyone know where I can find one? My lens cover has a huge scratch on it that makes my pics look horrid. I just spent about an hour searching around xda and google with no answers. All the housing kits I found didn't include the camera cover. It doesn't have to be new, just clean and unscratched. Maybe someone on the forums has a dead wing they can sell me some parts from???

When I bought this pda I was quite sure to find all accessories like other htc devices (I had HD, TYTNII, Wizard, ...)!!!

i think you will have to wait a while because manufactures wont sell the full shell because it sugests they want you to open it up which they realy dont
ful shells normally come from non working phones that have been disassembled
I bought the black model. But the Chinese generally like the white model more and call it panda
That's hilarious I ended up buying a TPU case, and am waiting for it to arrive. Had to settle for a "crystal smoke" one. Surprised that no one's making a solid black tpu case!
Defy cases
I had looked at quite a few cases and did not like any of the cheap looking silicone skins.
The two cases that looked the best to me were the Otter Box Commuter Case and the Amzer Skin. Ultimately I went with the Otter Box and I really like it. Here are the links if anyone is interested.

I have previously used the PDAir cases for my PDAs and they seem Ok but I'm up for a challange. My previous phones have lasted quite a while but even so.

Since my rear glass cracked I've been searching for a replacement. Obviously eBay is flooded with replacements from China but I'm after a genuine cover: it's hard to really gauge the quality from eBay and often time the knockoff covers are either missing antennas or they don't work quite right.
I also know the glass is available separate but don't want to venture down the path of ungluing it.
I finally been able to find the Genuine LG part number for the rear cover in black: ACQ86231209 is the latest version with the two little nipple to keep it just a tad raised. ACQ86231201 is the prior version with no nipples.
Would anyone happen to know the p/n for the white rear cover?

eBay is full of back covers and back glass. I wanted the back cover because it's simpler. Mind you, however, that a lot of them are Chinese knockoff and often miss this or that component: the rear cover includes various antennas.
I could not find a genuine LG in white in the US, but found one on eBay Italy: search for eBay number 221625132014. It is genuine LG, complete, brand new... I'm waiting for my parents to come over next week. The only thing is my N4 is black and totally forgot the SIM tray so now I'm looking for a white SIM tray. Here's the two LG p/n:
White: MBL65457502
Black: MBL65457501
I've not found the tray yet.
If you do go on eBay and put in the LG p/n some black one come up. Obviously if you want to experiment with Chinese knockoffs you find many more...
