Calculator App - HD2 General

All of a sudden my hd2's calculator doesn't rotate into scientific mode. I tried re-adding it from bsb but to no avail. Does anyone have any ideas?
Cheers!
edit: Never mind. All fixed. Turns out to apply a rotation in BSB Tweaks, the app must be selected and the rotation must be enabled.

BN eReader app lost pinch to zoom after bsb tweaks

The BN eReader app had this cool feature where it would reflow text automatically when you pinched to zoom. It would change the text size and fit to screen automatically. Then I installed bsb tweaks and the BN app got added to the list of apps on the pinch to zoom list of bsb tweaks automatically. However, this is the crappy pinch to zoom where it shows you a preview and stuff and doesn't reflow text. So I took the BN app out of that list. But now the pinch to zoom won't work at all in the eReader.
I've uninstalled BSB tweaks, reinstalled the eReader app, soft reset etc. Nothing seems to bring the original functionality back. Has anybody seen this? Any suggestions? Registry values that could be cleared out or something?

can some WinMo gurus please help here?

[Q] Fine rotation options

I'll try to make this simple:
I would like to have rotation options like Cyanongen Mod but slightly more specific:
• Auto rotate 0*, 90*, 270* (easily done in CM)
• ALSO rotate the lockscreen the same manner (CM's settings don't allow for this)
I've tried Ultimate Rotate but it's ultimately (ha) not able to disallow 180*.
Any ideas?

try some other apps? i'm using the free "adaptive rotation lock" and it has lots of options, don't know about the lockscreen though.
Why would I clutter up a CM dev thread? No. It's not a CM specific question.
Wondering if anyone would have the expertise to know if this would work:

I'm using ultimate rotate with tasker but it's still not quite right. I'll check out the app you mentioned.

Gallery would not rotate to landscape

Hello.
Does anyone have this issue when gallery cannot be rotated to landscape mode, including image view?
The auto rotate is enabled, all other apps working fine, including camera app. Gallery shows only in portrait and when phone rotated it stays in portrait.
I've tried clear data of the gallery, also cleared all cache from recovery. That didn't help.
Any other ideas before I waste 6 hours of setting up the phone with factory reset?
Thank you.
Found what's causing it: Nova launcher with "Screen orientation" set to "Default" or "Force Portrait".
As soon as I set it to "Auto-rotate" the gallery started rotate as well.
Any ideas for a work around other then allow nova to rotate?

Screen rotation with 3rd party launchers

After installing NovaLauncher and Apex and have found both are unable to auto-rotate the desktops. Once in an app or menu, the display rotates. Has anyone seen this? I have used NovaLauncher for years now and I've never seen the app behave badly, so I am guessing there is something happening between EMUI and the launcher. I am running EMUI5 on my P10+ and everything runs perfectly. Totally stumped... Is there a setting somewhere that needs to be enabled? Just to be clear, the default launcher works 100% fine. Thanks for reading
Hmm, interesting made me go look as I'm using nova, now my home screen and app drawer don't rotate but all my apps do..including my settings.
Did you try to enable Auto Rotation in Nova Settings->Look&Feel->Screen Orientation?
For me it works on Default, maybe setting this to auto-rotate fixes your issue.
It could also happen because Nova sees your tablet as a phone, as many other apps do. Setting the Screen density in developer options to 711 or higher(my current setting, some lower values may also work) also fixes this.

Screen Offset

I have tried everything, changing screen resolution, DPI, screen zoom, etc. But I just cannot stop the screen from going below the bottom of the phone. Happening on the lockscreen and a few others, strange thing is does not happen on all apps.
Does anyone know how you stop this? Thank you.
Hi,
not sure it'll help, but under settings, there in the display settings is a option for "full screen apps"
Give it a try?
Did you try doing a factory reset
No I haven't done a factory reset as that is really the only issue, and everything else is running like a charm. Don t think it deserves hours of setting up again and no guarantees that it fixes the problem.
It's Lockstar causing that behaviour...
Give it up. Use the stock lockscreen.
That's what I did... Lockstar many times give me weird elements positioninig

Tried that, stock lock screen still does exactly the same. And it cuts off a few other app menus, but not all which is weird.
Strange thing I have noticed, I was playing a game waiting for the doctor yesterday, when I was called I switched off the screen without exiting the game. Later when I turned on the screen again all the icons were visible in the right places. Some kind of DPI graphics change when the game runs I imagine?
Found the issues causing this problem.
I enabled navigation gestures in settings rather than navigation buttons.
Fluid Navigation was set to hide navigation bar, I set this to do not hide.
Both the lockscreen and all other offsets no longer occur.
