Yes. Your HSPL is still "on the phone".
Have fun.

If you did the offical 2.13 rom it wiped off HSPL and move the phone to 2.10 SPL which means you can not put any custom roms on it till they updated the HSPL version

Really? I wasn't aware of that. I just flashed the new Elegancia 8.0 ROM and then installed the 2.13 radio after that.
So I presume a new HSPL is on the way?
And just out of curiosity, what happens if I reflash my old HSPL or anoter ROM?

Thanks
Thanks guys, man i feel like an dumbass right now.Should have know better i was just hoping for better messaging with this update and not locking me out.I'll keep my eyes out thanks again guys for the wisdom.Ping33tx

@red your still running HSPL 2.08 you can install the radios on it. He said he install the offical 2.13 rom which upgrades the SPL to 2.10 and disables the ablitiy to use the 2.08 HSPL.
like I am running radio 2.09 but I can move to 2.10 or 2.13 radio if I wanted to but as soon as i upgrade the SPL i am done until they recrack it again
@Ping i wouldn't worry about it these guys are very quick on here so unless there are major issues i would expect to see an HSPL based on 2.10 in a few days

HSPL Versions

Hi there,
I was hoping you could answer a question for me. I have me searching for days and can't find what the different is between the Hspl versions. Is the latest the best?
My HTC HD2 was on 1.42 and I ran HSPL and change it to 1.42 HSPL.
It is working fine, but I was wondering if i made the right choice, and what the difference is?
Also, can I run it again and change the hspl version ?
Thanks in Advance
The developer of HSPL recommends matching your hspl version to the rom you are using, so 1.42 matched to a 1.42 - 1.48 based rom, 1.66hspl to a 1.66 or 1.72 based rom and 2.08hspl to the later roms. You supposedly get a more stable rom. I however can't say I have seen any significant difference between 1.42 hspl and 2.08hspl.
Just run HSPL2 again and you can change between the various hspl versions or even revert to stock spl versions at will.

Thanks for quick response. I think I will leave it on 1.42 as that was the same as my stock spl.
The next step is to choose a ROM. Any suggestions? Im looking for a stable, fast rom, with app updates, but that still has the weather animation. Also, I would like to be able to run fspce without any issue.
What do you reccoment?
Thanks again.

ROMs are personal decisions and what I like may not be to your liking. I suggest the best approach is to review the threads, look at screenshots, read the last 5 pages or so of the threads to see if there are major problems with the rom and then try a few.
The one I'm using is linked in my signature

I have radio version 2.05.51.05_2 and I would like to use this rom, which radio version should I use ?
I found Leo_RADIO_15.33.50.07U_2.07.50.27 **(from TMOUS 2.07) which looks ok, but will this be ok for a 512mb HTC hd2? Or is it for the T mobile version only?
Thanks
at this state you can flash all radios available on a 512 mb device. the new radios detect if its 512 or 1024 device.

Radio OR ROM ?

I have radio version 2.05.51.05_2 and I would like to use this rom -
ROM: ★ Energy Series 23557|Apr 12| , which radio version should I use ?
I found Leo_RADIO_15.33.50.07U_2.07.50.27 **(from TMOUS 2.07) which looks ok, but will this be ok for a 512mb HTC hd2? Or is it for the T mobile version only?
Also, do I update the radio first? with my current stock ROM? Or do I update the ROM first and then update Radio?
Thanks in Advance
Will this be your first flash?
If so, check this before do anything else: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=609477
If not, and if you already have HSPL installed on your device, you should first flash the RADIO ROM and then the ROM. (check previous link for that too)
I personally like the one's on my sig, but you must try several rom's and radios' and see wich one you like more.
Hope i could help.
i think next time you may not make a new thread. you can ask what you are confused on Energy ROM thread...

Thanks for that. This is my first flash, but I have already run hspl2 and my phone is set to 1.42 hspl.
I just want to make sure I have all the correct info before I flash.
So you can confirm that this radio will work with my device?
Hi
I use Energy rom now
I use radio 2.08.50.08_2
And everything is OK
But somebody said that radio 2.07 will give a better battery life, you could try this I use radio 2.08 because I like the newer radio
You should upgrade radio first, then Rom
My device is "normal" HD2
Im sure you have either a: allready flashed your phone successfully
or b: bricked it and are now crying under your bed sheets as you've managed to make the worlds most expesive door stop.
either way, do energy roms will not work with a .51 radio. it has to be a .50.
I use 2.08.50.08 and works a charm, its reported that 2.07 radio's are better for battery life.

As djchubbs said, you should use only .50 RADIO's on Energy ROM, so the one you said it's ok
Happy flashing

just got a hd2 today and i have the 5.10 rom and radio 5.08

is some nice enough to show me what i need to know how to download a rom thanks il lappreciate everyone even the haters thank you
those rom and radio numbers dont look anything like any rom/radio anyone has ever mentioned before, , any chance of a screenshot of your 'about phone - software info' page?
Most tmobile us users ( i assume thats you?) got rom 2.10 or 2.13 with their phone, the highest current official release is 2.13
ok i understand i got 2.10
then you need hsp1024 (see my sig) once that is installed you can flash roms BUT you are in the wrong section, go here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=631
and ONLY flash roms you find on that section.
I'm on tmobile us and flash roms out of this section all the time half of the threads never get updated in the other section!
YOU CAN FLASH ANY LEO ROM AS LONG AS IT US TMOUS COMPATIBLE

Is that rom 2.10 or spl 2.10.0000? If the rom is 2.10 (spl 2.08.0000) then as Sam says you can use hspl_1024 (link in my signature) to get hspl on your device, otherwise if you have a 2.13 rom (spl 2.10.0000) you need to flash a 2.10 Leo rom first in order to "downgrade" your spl to 2.08.0000.

Instead to making a video; it was more useful to give us some important information.
Your Rom version?
Your HSPL/SPL version?
Radio?
Customization (in case you have; didn't see much of this)
It's hardware problem I think.
ROM is 1.48, I tried also 1.66 and a lot of custom builds.
SPL/HSPL no matter.
Radio - 2.05 and 2.15
In video is ROM 1.48 SPL 1.42 Radio 2.05
I don't exept to help me, I just show you the video.

Honestly sir stock ROM 1.48 , SPL 1.42 and Radio 2.05 are very old sir.
If I was you I take the latest stock ROM 3.14. it will upgrade also your Radio to v. 2.15.50 and your SPL version will be upgrade to SPL 3.03

Yes, it's old. It was installed from warranty service
Before that I was with HSPL2 and Energy ROM and still had problems.
I will try stock 3.14.

Don't forget to remove HSPL (in case you have it) when you install Stock ROM 3.14 (it isn't compatible together)
And after installation do a Hard Reset.

Yes, I know. I don't have HSPL now.
I tried to install stock 1.66 first. The phone freezed several times during first configuration before WinMobile loads.
Next - 3.14
BEFORE INSTALLING STOCK 3.14:
I agree that it might be a hardware issue. You might want to try a Task29 to clear the memory from ANY residuals of previously installed ROMs that might interfere with each other and cause problems. But you'd have to install HSPL first to be able to run it.
Might not be the solution but is worth a shot - esp. scince sending it in would leave you out of your device for days/weeks ;-)
After that installation of 3.14 via SD card does work with HSPL scince this way of installing bulldozes over everything installed no matter what (extract RUU.exe with 7zip or the like, rename the biggest file to LEOIMG.nbh (all captal letters!) and put it on your freshly formatted SD card. Launch bootloader and it will install the ROM with proper SPL and Radio ROM). Fastest way to get to full up to date stock, I guess.
I always install ROMs via microSD card
3.14 in progress
3.14 still freeze

factory restore for warranty

hi guys!i have a problem with the digitalizer and the only way to solve it is to bring the HD2 to a HTC center and use the warranty.
does anyone know the factory settings i have to restore??
for now i did a task29, i removed the hspl 2.08 replacing it with the spl 2.08 and i restored wp 6.5 3.14 with the 2.15 radio.
is that enough or should i downgrade something else?tx
Just make sure you have an official ROM on there and you're good to go. You can get them from the support pages at http://www.htc.com
great!i've already an official rom!
so it doesn't matter which version of spl do i have?
thank you very much

No, as long as it doesn't say "Cotulla HSPL" on there then you're fine
