OK then, the original ROM release thread is getting a bit repetitive so if everyone replies here with their known bugs/problems to the "R0" release we'll be able to have a list of all the known bugs and have a clearer view of what is an actual bug and what's something more user/device related.
On the whole this ROM is amazing, this list is not to "knock" udK, but to centralise any problems, I'm am so so happy with this ROM, amazing work, udK - I want your babies
I'll update the first page each time when we have a confirmed problem that all (or most) people are experiencing.

Solutions:

- no gps photo (registry edit HKLM\Software\HTC\Camera\P10","Enable",1)
Regardless of the bugs, I do enjoy this ROM a lot allready. udK, keep up the good work!
if flash to another ROM (official rom), the udk syrius logo is still present in the beginning

1. Autofocus does not work.
2. Audiomanager stops work in sleep mode (S2P works perfect in sleep mode on R0)
3. Can not play movie in Photos and Videos tab.
4. Gestures in photos preview does not work at all.
5. Quick GPS stucks at 82% (probably because of new radio. Looks like HTC changes technology of satelite data update. Some where here was that it is only because of bad signature of update.)
6. Wifi problem (cannot turn on/off while using active sync)
7. Can not switch to 3G/2G band in usual way.

Beside what is mentioned by firiel above.
Cannot setiup hotmailn with windows live.
3G (HSPDA) is working fine but GPRS is not working, in the original rom both was wirking fine whatever signal was present. settings are correct.
Voice Dial is missing.

how many threads do we need for 1 ROM to report bugs! C'mon people use the original R0 thread to report your issues. It gets real crazy for a cook to have to go to multiple threads to see issues.
Hopefully a Mod will remove this thread....
I think its a good idea for this thread to be created, IF the first post is updated regularly so the GREAT Cooker UDK, can just watch 1 post despite 44 pages.
Also people please confirm the issues mentioned so that they can be confirmed as bugs. ForumUser please add only confirmed, by +3 people, issues to first post
you do have a valid point, but let me ask you this. I am sure you see so many new posts being created that it pushes other posts to other pages. In that scenario it might make it hard to keep track or rather easy to lose threads... if its all in one place this isnt as likely to happen..

Theres about 40 pages in the R0 thread all repeating the same bugs , threads like these are a good idea if used properly and the first post updated
Not yet mentioned in this thread, the END key will only lock device, even if quick list or one of the other options is selected.

Thank you all for your input so far. We got quite a list. I have some spare time, so I put them together in the second post. I hope .ForumUser doesn't mind, perhaps he can help with the first post to keep it updated and to have enough space for the possibility of even a longer 'wishlist'
so far things that i've noticed that have been mentioned are:
1 - of course, quickgps
2 - camera problems (auto focus, etc)
3 - Windows live needs to be re-installed to work (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=334621)
4 - Touchpal can't be installed
5 - opera opens with two tabs from the touchflo menu
6 - videos don't play in the touchflo menu
7 - camera album doesn't have the normal finger swiping functions working properly

These are just some minor bugs that i've experienced or seen people write about. Personally i'm loving this ROM and most of these bugs aren't really bothering me. I think UDK is the man!!!
Once again, if you guys already see some bugs posted on this thread, DON'T REPOST IT! if not we'll have the same problem of 20+ people reporting THE SAME BUGS!
Is it possible adding a new option item (Vibrating the device when tapping the tabs of TouchFlo, Youtube and Opera) to this current setting page like RED marking option. I think this future is added on Touch HD with a new version of TouchFlo Settings. On my Touch Diamond I have Version 3.0.
Try TouchResponse from here. Although it won't specifically be for that, it'll work all around your diamond and you can adjust the length of the vibration.

This Touch HD TF3D is soooooooo much better than the other devices, stocks etc;
I wish they would just make it all the same for every TF3D user.

Thanks for your suggestion. Also I used TouchResponse. But it vibrate at all touch. It is Battery life time monster . May be not. I dont have test it so fast. But it give me so a feeling.. But that is a nice useful application. With this new option vibration occur only on specific applications like TouchFlo, Youtube and Opera.

I see you.. I think in a near time we will see customized or official TouchFl3D for all touch based HTC devices with new versions. I like stock tab and customize tab option in Settings

That specific tab/opera vibrating works on some roms with the new TF3D2 from Xboxmod (the first version V1C seemed to have it, but the V1D does not implement it, or at least I have not been able to do it again)
Hi! I have installed version 20 (It was the same with version 19) on my Touch Dual Everything works but I dont have the bottom buttons. There's just a emtpy line in the bottom of the screen.
Is there somebody else that had this problem?
Some skins are like that, they hide the buttons, it could be that, install a new or default skin with m2dC.
Btw, why v0.20? 0.21 works fine on the Nike too.
Also, 0.22 is pretty close by...
By the way, what is the differences between versions?
I use first (may be second or third, something like that) release, and everything is works, also bug free
But something pulls me to get latest version...
The one thing I noticed right away on v0.22 is the speed, I never had any version this fast, also it has the new footprints tab, but I dont have GPS (sigh) so I'll have no use for it.
From all the other versions behind I noticed mostly bugfixes. But I only use 5 tabs, so something may have slipped without me noticing.
I have two questions
1)Where you did get new v22?
2)Seems like new versions have cutted animation.
On my version, if i tap on another tab, it will change with smooth-slide animation.
But in new one, if i tap on another tab, it just change the tab, without any animation.
This is a new feature or it doesn't work propely on my device?

I only ever saw that on the weather tab, never on any other...

New versions have no scroll animation, like Manila3D
(New versions of Manila3D have cutted animation too)
I tried hard reset and then version 21 but I still don't get the buttoms in the bottom. Lucky I can play with manilla on my new Diamond after the weekend!
I have M2D 0.22 and I have a problem with the 4 icons on top (battery, sound, operator signal, operator network type).
I can only tap on the 3 on the left (I cannot tap then battery icon).
After I tap once, the 3 on the left appear in a bigger screen and if I tap anyone of them will open the application immediatly on the right!).
For instance...
Screen: 4 icons (network type, signal, sound, battery).
I can only click on the 3 on the left (network type, signal, sound). By doing that a bigger menu appears with those 3 icons.
By tapping network type icon, it opens network identification application.
By tapping network signal, it opens sound application.
By tapping sound, it opens battery application.
Anyone with this problem?

i think it's a ROM error, not Manila.
Try another one or change the battery icon to watch(clock).

1. Youtube app not working (I've reading loads of posts saying the same thing but can't find any definitive answer)
2. Task Manager icon is missing from top toolbar
3. Speed Dial numbers won't work when in main M2D home screen
4. Touch pad won't dial numbers when in main M2D home screen
5. Weather widget won't update

The latest - v22
quit from M2D and try to reinstal the requirement applications
I myself have spent the best part of today searching for an answer to my own and the question of many others.
It seems it's possible to have landscape active, yet keep the stock music and pictures tabs -so that you can scroll from left to right lke coverart-
I've seen many mentions of it, many more requests for it, one or two suggested fixes for it, but no solution as of yet.
Can anyone offer a quick fix solution in this thread to answer the questions of all who are clueless?

I would like to know too. I just recently bought this phone after having a normal phone for a few years (I had an HTC Blueangel before). I had the stock rom on it for only an hour, but I did remember the thing going into landscape after holding the device that way.
I've had several modified roms on it already (Dutty's most of the time) but I just recently noticed I couldn't get it into landscape. It seems strange to me those modified ROMS aren't tweaked to do this properly or am I missing something?
fully landscaped manila is not a real rom.it was released by htc to find a rom leaker. only certain tabs are naturally landscape enabled.
if you want to try a fully landscape enabled manila rom try sone rom 1.33 from the link in my sig.

What I've seen talked about many times now though, and requested even more than that was the very same landscape tweak that many use on xda-dev for their HD2 just now, but with the removal of the tweaked landscape effect on both the "pictures" and the "music" tab, leaving those ones to operate like the stock HD2 has them (flipping on their side and panning like iphone cover art -from side to side-)
There too has been some solutions offered, but the ones I've seen haven't worked for me and left the screen black when landscape is activated.
I know it still has problems with centering the content on tabs like footprints but having the above would be a big stretch from the compromise we have to face at the moment.
There is hope for a solution yet, and surely it would be possible to have the landscape tweak only applied the rest of the tabs, no?

Update: Still been looking, had a try of MaxManilla 3 and while it handles landscape effortlessly for most tabs, it still does it uniformly and doesn't exclude the music, reader and pictures tab to allow the coverart view.
Note for anyone tempted by it, MaxManilla is really handy in that it can flip to the right or to the left. Default is left, I prefer right. Quite a nice feature.
So can anyone offer any expertise? can landscape be implemented like the fixes out there but deactivated for a select few tabs?
Surely it's only a setting somewhere? I see registry settings for tabs but wouldn't know what to do with them tbh.
A very happy HD2 - running CHT with one "app screen" might makes yours faster too
As some of you know, I've had my HD2 3-4 weeks - and I've had my fair share of bugs, issues, etc. After being unable to fix my latest issues last week, I did a factory reset (on Thursday night) and spent an hour or so setting it up to the spec I wanted.
Since then, I've had no issues with speed or lag whatsoever. IMO this is down to me running CHT 1.8.5.1 with only one screen of apps (5x5), not two or three. Maybe only Cookie knows how much impact this might (or might not have) on your average phone, but for me it's made the whole thing as it should be. Previous to this, I was running 1.8.5.1 with two and three screens, and also the same with 1.7. But I had too many issues.
So I thought I'd publish here in case anyone (with CHT) is also getting fed up with these issues and wants to give this a try.
There's nothing else on the phone I'm running or doing differently.
BTW, I still have a couple of bugs:
1) On reboot (Sense restart etc) I get this error just after Today screen appears:
An unexpected error has occurred in CHT_Wall.exe ... select Quit and the restarted ... blah blah"
Haven't found a fix yet, but will keeping looking.
2) I can't stop the weather animations even though I've disabled it in B2BTweaks.
Not the end of the world though ...

The Bug will occasionally be there once you unlock your phone unless the Cookie creator can fix it.
Try Soft Restart if still not working.This will help to generate the ability to move your finger to always touch your Htc Hd2..cheers!

Don't bother with BSB, it just doesn't work. Use CHT, there is a menu within John Molyneuxs CHTEditor to display switches on the home screen put one down, and use that.
