Is it possible? or already have rom can do it?
Thanks
Yes, it's possible.
Maybe add 1 + 1 +1.
Rom with RAM hack
Add JIT
Add overclock
What does that equal?

Hello All
Sorry for my noob question:
I 'm searching how to change the settings of the cpu speed in my VE 4.0 ROM, through the .zip file directly, or in the kernel files uploaded by radug with his rom to change this speed
In fact, how to change the min/max CPU speed in a .zip file (ROM) ?
Thx in advance for all your help

I think the kernels for VE 4.0 are pre-overclocked, meaning that you choose a kernel update according to the speed you want....
I am guessing that if this is so, the frequency table in the kernel is very very limited.
What exactly are you trying to do? Does SetCPU enable you to set the speed you want? If not then its because the kernel version you are using does not support it and there is no way to get around it. If SetCPU does support this speed, can't you just use "Set on boot"?
Hi Erasmux
Thx for your response
I would like to set the cpu as i need directly in the rom without having to use set cpu for example. (576 mhZ / 352mhz) and i dont have this choice in the kernels...
Basically, you need to write the min/max frequencies you want to:
/sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_min_freq
/sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_max_freq
You can do this in a file in /system/etc/init.d so that it gets done at boot.
This is of course limited by the frequency tables in the kernel. I am guessing that the free kernel should give you the frequencies you want. I still suggest first using SetCPU to check the exact frequency values the kernel supports.
This is quite a complicated way to achieve, performance and battery life which is worst than the supplied 576/245 locked kernel. I have done quite a lot of investigation on the subject, and the locked kernels will behave much better for you than the free kernel.
Can you explain what problems you have with the 576/245 locked kernel?
Hi.
setcpu does not manage to change the cpu speed on boot on my hero, although i pick um "set on boot" enable. only after the phone starts up i can go to setcpu and change the cpu speed to 614/176 (my hero is rooted and has the flykernel13, the rom is equal to the original only pre-rooted). is there any other way to change/set cpu speed on boot (for instance, editing in on file ...).
Thx

Known issues
There is a bug affecting headphone detection. Ringtones and notifications are played through the phone speaker and audio routing seems broken. I will try and find a fix but this could take some time.
Thanks
It's impossible to mention everyone who contributes to the Android community by name, but to everyone out there who does great work and shares it with us all - you have my gratitude and respect. And huge thanks to Paul for providing kitchen access.

Same here.
edit: battery drain at 1Ghz. Not good...
I'm using this too - seems good
2 things to highlight
1. The font changing feature is a great welcome. But, the font size always toggles back to Normal, even after I've selected smaller or bigger font sizes
2. There seems to be a delay for the screen to turn on when pressing the Power button when the phone is locked.
Other than that, I love this

General instability at 1GHz too.. I have a feeling that the overclock values I'm using may not be correct for this device. I'm using code from genokolar with some small changes so it's entirely possible that I've fudged something up or HCDRJacob did when removing the gk_overclock ifdef. I need to look at it
Overclocking seems to be very stable on FLB r5 now

Yep and battery drain doesn't seem to be an issue when overclocked.
r5 of the ROM is now available at MoDaCo. MoDaCo ad-free and plus users can also use the online ROM kitchen to customize the ROM.
r5 (default kitchen options) - DOWNLOAD (Multiupload) - MD5: 6979a2efdfb5b2f59f49c142dc043648
Changelog
r5
Kernel moved to correct location (schoolboy error!).
r4
Updated kernel with fixes for overclocking and speed tweaks.
Battery drain when overclocked should be reduced significantly.
libsqlite.so optimised for better performance.
You should create a new thread so you can update and get thanks etc.
hi guys I want to swap ram whit ram expander what kernel I can use to do that ?
thanks
Is swap really necessary for N7? ill try to compile one as far as i can..
Hi, I´m new one here but I found many things for setup our Galaxy but I can not find working apps for set up official kernel from CM10.1.2 is it the latest firmware. If I use SetCpu v3.1.1 and set up clock and profile and voltage only -25 for testing example for 100Mhz and screen go off I´m not able get it back to on. Only if I set up clock and profile or clock and voltage. So I try NStool but unfortunatelly I can set up all thinks only I/O shedule and not gavenor... Offcourse for kernel example Devil kernel is it possible download app for set all this settings but I found that official kernel is it the best for me now and only thing what I need is it some apps or somethink how can I set up the kernel.
The thinks what I would love to setup is I/O shedule, gavenor, clock, (under) voltage, any other setings are wellcome but not necessary for me now...
May be is somewhere some thred where is the answere for my qestions but I not find it so if is please give me the link here. Thanks a lot and sorry for my bad english.
Now I reat that is it possible to make it through init.d script http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1369817 Did it anyone tryed?
No one know the answer or can help with my question? Or is this question too stupid?
PLEASE HELP. I CANT OVERCLOCK MY SM-G7102
here is the chronology
when i use a application such setcpu, no frills cpu control etc. and overclock/clocked it, it just say " SUCCES MIN:300MHZ MAX 1199 MHZ"
all i want is "min:1199". i want to set my cpu at its top speed. i tried many kernels such project engine, deds, motionv2, etc. but it still shows that i cant set the minimum speed. my old device (i9082) can set the minimum speed, and i think everybody can. every single device include g7102. except MY DEVICE. can someone help?
i tried in every rom. turbo rom, stock rom, custom rom, port rom etc. the result still same "min 300mhz max: 1199(depends on rom)"
PLEASE HELP.
also i want to ask what is "GOVERNOR" and "I/O scheduler" in app such setcpu, no frills etc.
sorry for bad english since its not my native language
