touch 2 Have 6.1 rom???
No. Have not.
it is a pity
actually I like WM 6.1 a bit better rather than 6.5
especially I do not like when you click for example "Settings" or "Programs" you see Icons and not just line with the names of Programs like in WM 6.1
and in WM 6.1 there is "Copy and Paste" feature....

YOu can copy and paste anywhere after choosing Make selection in WM65.5,
Mod. edit: not dev related, moved to general
well, for example, HOW can you copy a piece of text in "Notes" of a phone contact?
I can't do it in WM 6.5
Or is there a way to do it?
it can be done on 6.5 Version

Glad you liked it.
Indeed... it is quite colorful
MS is going quite bold with colors for win 6.5.. but I like it
I like the blue one, very similar to udK's R6.
just nice and cozy.
@arkavat
nice enhancements there
i have a note for you though
the topaz and rhodium use a different version of HTC menus
The one you posted is for the topaz
Here is my glossy black for the rhodium, you can use it as a base for the layout
Hi,
these should be in this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=3628390#post3628390
it is everything to do with WM6.5 designer themes and the extras, first post is the actual themes and the second if for all other WM6.5 extras.
would anyone mind if i added this stuff to the collection.
keep designing new stuff here but can i add the completed/tested stuff to my post?
thanks in advance!

From what i understood it is Rhodium menu enhancements to compliment WM6.5 themes, and the title of the thread is "[THE] WM 6.5 Theme Colours..."
Also, regardless of whether people are going to use these on WM6.5 or WM6.1, the same files get replaced in both versions of windows therefore the thread should just be called "rhodium/topaz colour enhancements"
WM6.5 themes dont work on WM6.1 so why have the matching colour enhancements? which is why i asked!!
I can still post links to them in my thread though right?

The colour enhancement is a pack of files modified by an user for matching colours of WM6.5.
It'll work even on WM6.1 because it is only a file replacement for HTC Rhodium that works on 6.1!

sure. I did think of posting them in your thread, but as kholk pointed out.. these can be used in Win 6.1 as well.
However, I agree with you that they will be primaraily used for win 6.5. Please go ahead and post these in your thread also. I will continue to update them here and notify you, so you can update as well. and/or you can add a link to this thread.
@ Giannis86
Thanks! I will start working on them as well.
messed-up menu....
Hi all. I was trying to change the colors of the menu using the orange HTCMenus.bmp on a cooked-in Menu Enhancement (ROM: Cloudy_1.1) but this messed-up the top and buttom af the menu. The selection colours were ok. Any clue?

Is there some kinda plugin for the WM 6.1 to get the WM 6.5 today plugin/home screen? Perfect would be a cab which installs this as an object in the Today list!
Anyone knows where to find it - or make it?
Mmmm...
As far as I'm aware, Titanium (WM6.5 home screen) doesn't run on 6.1
Ummm...

Not the case. I'd imagine there are dependancies on 6.5 that aren't compatible with 6.1. Not to mention it's not just 'mostly graphics'. That'd be the easiest bit. There'd be a ****-load of code crammed in that. Look at all the different things it can do.
Why don't you just flash a 6.5 ROM? It's pretty much retail quality as it is now. M$ are claiming 6.5 is done and we have the latest builds. It simply makes no sense why you'd want to go backwards for just the UI?
Not really worth the effort of making it since you could just go install 6.5
Or just wait a bit longer if the latest version we have isn't exactky complete.
Hehe, well, I definitely see your point. But all the WM6.5 ROMs for Diamond that I found, didn't seem to be working 100 % (but more like 90 %...).
But if it's as ready as you claim, I guess I'll get my ass going and upgrade! I believe it's possible to get TF3D for 6.5 as well?

I am newbie,I saw some posts here saying "with or without Titanium",anyone would like to help?
Hallo Garret, titanium is another plug-in from HTC like Manila......a bit of searching and you find plenty of info on it.......
Thank you Frank!
You are always very kind to offer newbie infomation,I really appreciate it!
Thanks again!
Actually, it is not a plug-in by HTC, but rather the default Windows Home screen from WinMo Pro 6.5. It is similar to the home screen "Sliding Panels" from WinMo Standard 6.1, which uses xml files to define the elements to be displayed.
You are correct Titanium is WM......
Does WM 6.1 have sliding panels?

AFAIK Sliding panels were introduced in WM 6.5
Thought so too..... at least from windows.......HTC had "sliders" already "long" before.....
Hi there!
I have an Omnia 2 and there are some incompatibilities between Sense and WM 6.5.5 on my device (searched but didn't find anything similar)
After some time of use, pictures begin to appear as white squares and that only happens with 23569... used the same packages with 6.5 and that didn't happen, so some people told me that it's possible to mix 6.5 core with 6.5.5 kernel (or something like that - I love those big buttons)... tried to exchange xip between them and it didn't work...
If it is possible, what do I need to do?
I can't speak for your device, but on my HTC device, Manila works the same with 6.5, 6.5.3, or 6.5.5.

Thanks! It is important to know that as I can narrow the possibilities
Still... Is it possible to mix 23569 Kernel (big buttons and stuff) with 6.5 xip/msxipkernel?
Hey
I just wondered if this is possible?
Sory for my bad eng...
Windows Mobile 6.5 he is just ugly bastard... And that HTC Sense also...
Just clean WM 6.1?
There are very few versions of 6.1 available for the HD2...and most of them haven't been updated in ages. Just flash a custom ROM, then hit up settings to get the old Start menu back...hell, even the stock ROM has the option I think.

No bro, I know the difference between 6.1 and Titanium.....been doing this a long time. There are a handful of 6.1 builds for the Leo...somewhere buried within the ROM development section at the main Leo section.

gotcha, its the red bit that i read as you saying to just turn sense off. Oh teh joy of misinterpretation, , heh.
maybe i don't hang out here enough, but I still can't see what this trivial argument is about...
doesn't WM6.1 = turning off titanium and reinstalling your old today plugins? e.g. before running GPS or Android, I turn off sense and just re-enable BatteryStatus and TodayAgenda from my WM6 on the today screen, and the HD2 magically turns into my old wm5.
If the OP was referring to the other device-specific tweaks like the new notifications or volume controls, they can all be changed in the registry or with programs like SchapsAdvancedConfig3.3 etc. One can even bring back the old start menu with new programs like this recent front page post 3D WinStart. But then again, all these tweaks might be too much for a newbe to handle, so i guess, yer right, just flashing a retro rom might be simpler, as long as one can still find it?

Tell me what your post brings to this topic?
I do not want any tweaks or crap like that. I want just good old WM6.1.
atlaswing is mostly correct though...WM6.1 really is just 6.5-Titanium. You can just go into settings and enable the classic WinMo Today screen to achieve the same effect.
