Htc Magic 32A Unable To Start - myTouch 3G, Magic General

Have been running CM 5.0.7 for a while and then I wanted to nandroid restore to a saved backup of 4.2.15. Everything was perfectly normal (like a few times before), but now when I entered SIM number it froze. I all went down from here.
A few symptoms have arised :
1. freezing @ HTC Magic logo
2. Sometimes get into 4.2. OS but freezes when i insert PIN number on homescreen
3. Sometimes I can get into recovery and sometimes I can't
4. Sometimes it passed HTC logo and started booting android, then turned off display
Now I can't go even into recovery. Fastboot works ok, but when i boot recovery from fastboot (it says it downloaded image OK),phone reboots and NOTHING, almost black screen (greenish, whiteish background).
What do you recommend ? How can I boot into recovery (tried AmonRAs 1.5 & 1.6 , nothing worked, Sapphire version of course)?
Here are the specs from Hboot:
SAPPHIRE PVT 32-A Ship S-ON H
HBOOT-1.33.0009 (SAPP 10000)
CPLD-12
RADIO-3.22.20.17
P.S. Funny thing is that I haven't been fideling with booting new roms or such, only restore of existed.

Stuck at Vodafone Screen, please help

I got a real Problem
On a normal Boot the Magic stucks an the red Vodafone splashscreen
Powering up with Home+Power results in the Vodafone screen
Back+Power i got to the fastboot menu.
Now i can transfer an recovery mod (recovery-RA-sapphire-v1.7.0G.img)
if i use "fastboot boot recovery-RA-sapphire-v1.7.0G.img" the phone shows up a progressbar, reboots and stuck at the red Vodafone screen.
if i use "fastboot flash recovery recovery-RA-sapphire-v1.7.0G.img" the img transfered an wrote to the phone. Turning it off and on again (with Home+Power) it ends in the splash screen. ==> I'm not able to enter the recovery menu
If i try to flash my backuped system.img with "fastboot flash system system.img" the progressbar stucks at about 90%.
The Fastboot menu shows (if this could help):

There are new posts like this daily.
Reading carefully is the key! I had this problem on my 32A, you're flashing a recovery which is for google branded phones ie. Sapphire PVT 32B ENG S-OFF G, download recovery-RA-sapphire-v1.7.0H.img

Yes, you need an H recovery if that's what you seen on the phone when you're in fastboot.
What did you do to end up in such a situation?
Moving to General because this has nothing to do with ROM development.

About one mont ago i flashed a 2.1 Rom to the phone, and everything works great. Three days ago he called me because the phone didn't boot anymore.

10 minutes ago i tried the "recovery-RA-sapphire-v1.7.0H.img" ==> same result.
I hope Vodafone will change ist. I realy out off ideas. :-S

Mytouch 3g stuck on Hboot

I had this problem before and the device was inactive for 4 months. Then it suddenly started working again. This problem has resurfaced and I cannot find a solution.
As soon as I turn the device on it goes straight to HBOOT with the following information:
SAPPHIRE PVT 32B SHIP S-ON G
HBOOT - 1.33.006 ( SAPP30000 )
CPLD - 10
RADIO - 2.22.19.261

HBOOT
<Back> Fastboot Mode
it runs through what appears to be a booting process but then nothing. no buttons do any thing and it is unresponsive. Can anyone help me remedy this?
maybe a button is stuck down or is making contact (like your vol down?) and when you boot up it keeps thinking you want to go into hboot (cause of a false msg coming from the hardware) I dunno just my random blurb of the day.
i've got the same problem with a g1 right now i can boot into the recovery img with home+power i tired taking out the camera button and trying that but still boots into bootloader

Help needed ! Sapphire Unknown 32A

Hi,
I tried to update my Htc Magic to run the Latest Android on it.
So I followed the procedure on Unlockr to update SPL, RADIO, etc...After several updates, flash and reboot I am stuck.
I have only two choices:
- FASTBOOT
- " HTC MAGIC "logo
I am not able to go back to the phone first state. Even if I try to boot using "fastboot boot recovery image...."
What I have on the HBOOT now is:
SAPPHIRE UNKNOWN 32A SHIP S-ON G
HBOOT-1.33-0006 (SAPP10000)
CPLD-12
RADIO-2.22.19.261
Hope you can tell me to bring my phone back ?!?
Thank you
If you hold down (home+power) does it bring up a recovery screen? Will be green and black and say which recovery mod it is at the bottom. You may have to hold them down for up to a minute before it loads up. Also, it already looks like you didn't flash the hboot correctly or something. Do you have the myTouch with the 3.5mm jack? Which guide did you use at Unlockr? If you can't link it, what is the How To title?

[Q] HELP!Did I bricked my phone?

It is not boot with "HTC Magic" text on black background and stalled at all. And, I even can not boot it in recover (using HOME+POWER) or in HBOOT (using BACK+POWER) ...
It happened after I flash it with a Google ION radio image following the guide found in http://developer.htc.com/google-io-device.html#s1.
My phone was (before):
----------------------------
SAPPHIRE PVT 32B ENG S-OFF H
HBOOT-1.33.2010 (SAPP*****)
CPLD-10
RADIO-3.22.20.17
Jun 2 2009, 17:27:03
----------------------------
What I did exactly is below:
1. 'adb push' the radio image (ota-radio-2_22_19_26I.zip) into the /sdcard/update.zip
2. In Amon_RA's recovery tool, flashed the /sdcard/update.zip. When got the prompt I reboot the phone using menu.
3. It seems rebooted but stay in another strange screen that I never saw: that is an open box, beside that stands a green adroid robot.
4. I feel the screen stay too long and seemed halt, then I removed the battery and try to boot again.
From now on, in whatevery method, I can only get a dead screen with "HTC Magic" white text on a whole dark screen.
Can I save my phone? I am crying .... What's wrong in my steps?
HELP!
It's dead fo' shizzle.
I assume it was a Rogers Magic (32A)? I know the SPL says it'd 32B, but I've seen people flash all kinds of crap and end up with hboot showing the wrong board, and I'm pretty sure that's a 32A radio you're running. You flashed a radio image for 32B to a 32A phone... you shouldn't have done that.
Actually I also suspect if it is really a 32B as HBOOT said, since in a recovery flashing process I found Amon_RA's 32A version works but 32B does not. I posted the question in http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=750307, but no one reply to me! If you saw the thread and see something earlier, my phone can be saved
So, my question is, is there no any solution to recovery my phone any more?

[Q] HTC Magic rebooting on TIM Splash Screen

Hello guys
I think my phone is bricked. But I will post here what I did and wait if any of you can help me (sorry for my bad english).
My phone specs are:
SAPPHIRE PVT 32A SHIP S-ON H
HBOOT-1.76.0007 (SAPP60000)
CPLD-12

Well, some days ago I just rooted my phone using Androot and I have no problem with that. So, today I just downloaded and installed the ROM Manager.
I installed the clockwork recovery and selected the option to backup my ROM, I put a name to backup file and my phone just got rebooted.
But the phone just do not complete the reboot, it just shows me the "TIM" (Brazillian) splash screen and reboot again, and stays on this loop.
I simply can't get on fasboot mode neither get on recovery mode, i got no chance, it just shows me the splash screen and reboots again.
I tried to make it with fastboot (Android SDK) but i got no response:
C:\android-sdk-windows\tools>fastboot reboot
< waiting for device >
Any idea to solve my problem? Or i have to go to technical assistance?
