Hi! I don't know if this is an Imagio issue or a Windows Mobile 6.5 issue but I can't seem to find my provider's SIM services (Service Provider: Globe, Philippines) on my Imagio. I used to have a Wizard with WM6.1 and I was able to access my SIM services on it. Sorry if this is a stupid question or if it has been asked before. Hope somebody out there can help me.

Firstly this is my first PDA so bear with me
I have just got a O2 XDA Atom
I have a prepaid Vodaphone sim which i use
I connected them up and got onto vodaphone to get it setup for GPRS
After an hour or so on the phone, we can seem to connect to them via GPRS but it will not load any web pages. They then informed me that the phone doesnt supposed WAP and so i cannot use it with there GPRS?
Is this true ? what are my options ? Its a lot of money to spend so i can use excel etc

ive had the same problem with vodafone, have you tried a diffrent sim card in it? with mine think theres something up with my sim because any other vodafone sim works fine!
I am in a different country but I have had this problem with my local vodafone before. The sales people know nothing about gprs and other data services. I have been very clear to them an stated what I want to use a service for and after being assured everything is fine still nothing works. In the end for me the solution with vodafone was to move to a billed account. After that (and a phone call to activate it) all wap and gprs worked fine.

could anyone explain me detailed how windows mobile reads out the network name from the sim card and bring it to today screen???
And, which module/file does this???
I try to explain you why i am asking this. I own a Glofiish M800 from E-Ten and on this device i could not see the network name. maXXim is a german prepaid provider that uses t-mobile network. The connection wizard (E-Ten oem tool) which is installed will detect the right network for GPRS/UMTS connection. But on today screen there isn't anything. On my old device HTC StrTrk aka Qtek8500 there was no problem and the device print the nema on today screen.
On my Glofiish M800 i don't work, even with original firmware.
Could anyone help???

I know for a fact that my original T Mobile USA HD2 phone worked, because I made a call to T Mobile support with T mobile sim card.
Then I unlocked the phone with cellunlock.net, tried my russian sim card - it worked. Then I got a message from my russian provider saying that roming feature was turned off, I couldn't make calls, I tohught it was a problem.
Then I installed Komar's ROM, and now it doesn't work at all! Not with T Mobile SIM card, not with AT&T, not with Megafon (Russia). There are no bars at all.
Others phones of the same providers work at the same areas.
What might be the problem?
I just performed hard reset with T-mobile sim card inside and this is what I see:

I select T mobile. Maybe that's the reason?
also remember go back to the rom thread and let those guys in that thread help u for ur rom even the cook himself may help

Hi - anyone out there on Virgin Mobile UK (or maybe T-mobile) that is able to use the Chat functionality whilst on mobile data (3g)? I ask because it doesn't work for me, I can only use it whilst on wifi. All my other data services seem to work ok, it's got me stumped. Both my Omnia and my wifes Trophy seem to have the same problem, almost like carrier has the function blocked?
