Alternatively, call 5888 from your Talkmobile

Hi, I've searched the boards for this but can't find the settings I need to get internet access on my (unlocked) XDA Orbit.
If anyone has managed to track down the correct settings I'd be grateful to hear from you.
Many thanks.

did the search with
UK AND Vodafone AND Pay-As-You-Go
Thanks Rudegar - that seems to be exactly what I was after.

Hello all, I'm new to this forum however I have searched to see if someone else has asked this question but have been unable to find anything. I recently took ownership of my own Jasjam, I love my phone to bits but there are some operator settings I am unable to find ANYWHERE... and yes, I am 100% aware that Virgin runs off the optus network however they have their own MMS and internet settings. I have tried the optus ones and I know from past experience they do not work (they didn't work on my Sony Ericsson phone, they do not work on my Jasjam)
I'd dearly love to get the MMS settings as well as information on how to set them up in my phone.. if anyone can please help I'd be forever greatful ^_^
Try this :- http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=35744&d=1174493014
If this is no good call virgin and see if they can direct what to do - use another phone. Sometimes they can send the settings in an sms that automatically updates the phone when you open... Hope this helps...
Would also Hard SPL phone too, for when the flashing bug bites....

Welcome and I'd suggest doing some reading, both on the wiki and on posts... At least some will be entertaining reading to say the least....
Hi Everyone,
Please may you help, I am using a HTC HD2 phone running Windows Mobile 6.5
I have recently changed over to TalkMobile UK on pay as you go.
I have managed to set-up the GPRS settings no problem using the My ISP setting, but I cannot for the life of me get the MMS to work, and this is after help from the instore CPW staff, customer support at talkmobile on email and on the phone.
I have asked the automated system to send the settings, but this does not work, and confirmed by the customer services.
I think the problem lays somewhere in the My Work Network connection, particularly in the proxy settings.
I would be very grateful if someone could confirm what should go in this connection and in the MMS Settings to check where I am going wrong.
My last hope to get this sorted, or im going back to Tescomobile!
Thanks very much!
I am really hoping someone can help me, I have been reading forums all day with no clear answers.
I purchased a Samsung J3 from Costco, I was using it on the telus network previously and I have currently changed my provider to Rogers. Phone is working for calls and texts but no data I was advised to go in and change my APN, but when I get to the settings>network connections>Mobile networks >> access points. My option to change it is greyed out. I swear I had this issue prior to when I set up with Telus and they were able to get it working. Now however I have spoken to Rogers several times and even gone to the Rogers store and they can’t help me. I’m feeling very stressed out so if anyone has an answer to this or knows if I can be rectified please let me know.
