Hey All,
I currently using the File Type: cab "Co0kie.HomeTab_v1.7.1.cab" which I think is amazing. Only thing that's missing is the upgraded toolbars. As of now I'm on T-Mobile HD2 but those stock bars don't give the phone justice.
Please let me know by attaching links that can help me deal with this. I've tried a few and they didn't work. Please help a newbie out.
Are you looking for the bars themselves (the plain black stripes at the top and bottom of your screen...their style can be changed), or the icons that go on the one on the top?

just go to xda-developers > HTC Leo: HD2 > HD2 Themes and Apps and it will all be there. Just make sure you're installing stuff for version 6.5 and not 6.5.x

I have recently updated my phone to a 6.5 ROM and have been modding it here and there. My need is for an HTC Icon Taskbar that is updated to 6.5 size. Now I have tried all of the htc taskbars available but each one changes the wait cursor. I don't want anything changed except the start icon to the htc logo. I am willing to send some money if someone can help me.

At the moment I have this rom on my htc touch pro2:
Fusion v6.0 with HTC Sense 2.1. (wm 6.5)
Now I used a wallpapercab to make the background look like the hero.
And now I would like to know if it is possible to change the top and bottom bar from black to transparant.
Hope someone could help me out
Would be nice, an dit must be possible
Just need to find the images for the brs & the buttons and replaced them by some transparent ones (It may need to be cooked with the ROM, but maybe replacing using Total Commander is enough)
Or if we're lucky the transparency can be set in the registry (I dont know...)

Oke I installed the cab and restarted the device but I can't select it in the today settings. Because it's not there.

Recently I have bought my new Topaz and I run original WM 6.5 ROM without any mods or custom staff. I saw here in the forum some really nice customizations but I am totaly confused about how to install them or what do i need to do berfore I can install them. I read here about custom ROMs and other things but I'm not so hurry to do that stuff because I consider it as a big hit to the phone. In fact I want only some graphical enchantments to the TF3D like transparent bars and coloured icons in top bar (like the battery icon would be coloured and showing how many % of energy remain) and if it is possible I saw shortcuts to some apps below the clock in the home page.
So is it necessary to flash a new ROM or is it possible to do it on the stock one? Is it related to the version of manila? (I tried to get version of my manila but i really can't find that information - I looked into settings but I didn't see it there)
Any help would be much appreciated,

this is currently not possible for TouchFlo3D/Sense 2.1 users...but one of the developers here is currently working on a project that may just provide that shortly...so keep checking on that.

Thank you, that taskbar is exactly what I was looking for.
And about that transparency, I have tried WallHD but it looks like it is not making bars transparent but it changes them with a new picture which means that if you open an application with bars, you'll not have them black but a part of your background picture and I don't like that.
I'll also try to find transparent slider but I didn't have time to do a big search
But the biggest problem is that I really can't find my exact version of Manila. It should be written in settings -> about but I don't have it there. Then I read that in newer versions it is located in settings -> all settings -> system -> device information -> software tab. There's nothing too, I don't even have a software tab.
BTW My phone came with Win 6.5 preinstalled (maybe this will smehow help). Can you please give me some advice what to do, if there is any soft that can somehow get it for me?

Glad the link was of assistance. Re. finding your Manila version details I have to say that I suffered from a similar issue. In the end it was solved as a by product of installing what is IMHO a must have app; TD2 Tools. Installing this application (which is freeware but I reckon is well worth a donation) provides access to a number of features not available through the stock interface and also Manila and other device information that is useful.

It is a large thread but the download link is on the 1st page and yo can get a view of what it does by covering the first few pages. having said that the best way is to install and review.
So far the current release has provide to be very stable...for me at least.

ok so while im searching im wondering if anyone can help me out because i have a lot of tabs to go through just through this forum on taskbars,
I would like my taskbar to look like it does in the left picture were it is clear all the time and not black like in the right hand side picture on my today screen does any no where i should be looking please folks ??

You want the taskbar to be same as background image or do you want it black? You'r post is kinda confusing, but if I understand you correctly here are your choices:
1. Flash a WM 6.5 ROM. That'll give you "transparent" taskbar at top and bottom while accessing the start menu (but only there).
2. Create your own theme for WM with your preferred picture as taskbar (at least I think this is possible, but I never tried.
3. Find some third party software that adds a layer on top of the taskbar. MaxManila might do the trick if you're using Manila. Don't know if there are any other alternatives...
yep basically i wanted to be able to see all of my wallpaper instead of having a black taskbar, i dont use manilla or titanium, even though i have 6.5 i may just use titanium because i can see all the picture then, just being fussy i guess

I've been using hd2 for around 2months now and I love it. im still using the uk tmobile 1.72 stock version and im pretty content with it tbh
i love to customise, tweak and experiment there are endless possibilities thanks to the devs/chefs on this forum who will keep this dying breed of a device going for as long as possible.
forgive me for my stupid question but in regards with the windows mobile part of the device which is very ugly and boring are there any themes for a different layout? maybe just change the background colour ? or do i need to install a non stock ROM? im really happy with sense & touchflo3d which i think is fantastic
secondly i didnt want to ask this but im starting to pull my hair out, can anyone tell me how i go about changing the 'notes' program icon?? simply because i do not know where the program is located on the device? i can select it as a quicklink thats about it also im using jwmd icon changer

go to settings -menu -all settings -today and choose a theme from the list.........
for your icon notes should be under office in jwmd......
