I'm still in 2 minds about Augmented reality. Is it just a gimmick, or can it truly be used for more than advertising?
http://wmpoweruser.com/?p=2371 <- a bunch of students have made a WinMo framework for it, but no links other than videos, thats the nearest I can find.

is not working on my device
Well, I'm a bit disappointed. I've searched the forums here and branched out to Google as well and I cannot find a free app for editing Office files. If I just haven't found it yet, please point me in the right direction.
Every WM phone I've owned came with Office preinstalled and every Blackberry has come with Docstogo, both of which had editing capabilities right on the phone.
I'm a new Aria owner now and I just can't believe there isn't a free Office app. Maybe I've missed something?
Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions.

Download Any Android Paid App For Free Using Applanet MOD EDIT AND YOU KNOW WHY
I'm not looking for anything illegal or stolen. I just can't believe there isn't a free app for the job or that AT&T couldn't spring $10 to load a version of an app capable of editing on such an expensive device.
Am I over looking something?
Thanks.

Thanks for the idea. I'd rather be able to edit files directly on my sd than to have to upload them, edit, then download again. I may have to resort to that if there simply isn't another way.
I still think it's utterly ridiculous to have to pay for the ability to edit or print for that matter (every winmo device I've had came with jetcet5), office documents on a freaking smart phone! What's so smart about it if basic office functions aren't available?
Thanks again.

Microsoft Office on Android? A cab file? Does this run in an emulation layer or are you just being sarcastic?
I don't remember the iphone having any free office editing software either. It makes sense for winmo and blackberry to have this functionality since winmo is a MS platform and blackberry is a business platform. You could try oliveoffice editor it is free and allows you to edit doc/docx files.

Thank you!!! Finally an Office Package, that's FREE, w/editing capabilities! This is obviously still W.I.P., but definitely usable for my needs.
Why doesn't this package get more press? Folks should be raving about it here on the forums. Thanks again.
One reason may be fue to the size of thr Aria. I know I dont do a lot of document editing on this phone due to that.

Polaris Office is included in most of the builds I use, so I guess it is free.
please correct me if I am wrong.
There's a formal Google Docs app which is okay but only lets you access documents online. For an offline and online solution I use Evernote.
Anybody else seen this?
When I try to write a review on the market place website, i'm getting a strange error.
Wrote one not too long ago and got no error. Looks like it's you.
I don't think you can review from honeycomb using the market app. You need to go from a browser.
I think he knows that. I have the same issue.

I assume he's talking about the new Market?
The old one didn't even have a place for you to write reviews, so how could the OP be getting errors with it?

Same one I have. Unfortunately it's only available through Sammy's app store.. but it's probably ones of the best you'll find on android. It's probably the one category of app that lacks the most on android.
