you will never find the right answer, and we all already can see it is pretty tough to put an non android phone with a fully working android? So far, it is pretty impossible. Why would you putting high hope with a wm phone to be ported with android? this will not be a good factor at all for choosing a phone? my 2 cents.
If I read the signs right, there will bei a Android Version of the Leo in early 2010.
Maybe there is a change to flash between the two OS.
On the other Hand this would mean HTC didnt give an capactive Display to the Leo for being ready for Windows Mobile 7 but for being able to sell it as Android Device aswell.

If you want to google for this version you should use the magic words "HTC Dragon"
Cool .. I'm reading this forum for two weeks to get reason NOT to buy Leo. Still haven't found one. But this might be it ..

It is unlike this will every take place. The complications with NAND and drivers for the Leo are the issue. Even the phone is similar to other HTC devices hard is different to drivers are as well. In the case of the Leo it will likely not happened. If you want a Android device I suggest you move from the Leo.
I understand the 4.3" screen is difficult to match on a carrier like T-Mobile. I personal just left Verizon where I had the Droid X. Android is nice but I was more focused on a phone with a nice hardware and set up.

Android is useable now.
Waiting for Devs to release it to NAND although it works flawlessly from the SD Card well at least mine does
Boot from Startup is NAND and won't be released untill it is finished.
The guy above this post is an idiot. It won't be long before it replaces winmo completely so stick with your HD2 as WP7 might be an option in the next few months or so as well.

Im sure, instead of wasting our valuable time, you could have spent some of yours searching through these threads and reading the state of the world of Android on the HTC Leo. But you didn't you chose to let loose another regurgitated thread asking the same question people have been asking for the last year.
Please read before posting.
Usable?
Usable? Um... I have not used winmo for about 2-3 months. If you have not tried it yet you should. There are several extremely stable builds right now. I recently switched from Bangsters to mdeejay evo revolution, only because I wanted to try a Sense build. Sound/voice quality is perfect, data speeds excellent, no issues with mms or any other functionality. Battery is also very good. Not as good as winmo, but very close, and who doesnt have a charger at their desk or in their car these days?
Sure you may lose data connection occasionally (maybe 1-2 times a week), but cycling airplane mode clears that up. The issues with android today are no worse than the shortcomings of winmo.
Its not like you lose winmo by loading up an android build. Just do it, you will not go back.
thanks for all the replays
my question is awnserd

I'd say that, provided that you are willing to read the forums to troubleshoot your issues, android on the hd2 is as capable as any other current android handset.
How to disable Active Sync security?
Hi
I'm sure this is an issue already solved and even discussed here. I did the search.
Could you tell me where to find software which will disable Active Sync security feature on Sence Revolution 2.2?
I have installed LockPicker already but I'm not able to get it work properly.
Thanks in advanced.

would be nice eh? ive been wondering this myself. probably wont happen but who knows!
maybe w7 ?? but I would much rather keep my current os
People have wanted it for a while, and there's many postings about it on Netflix's actual website, but it all comes down to them saying that Android is too open and doesn't support the DRM needed for them to be allowed (by the movie studios/mpaa) to release a port. Supposedly, they're looking for an Android version early this year.
For example:

it makes no business sense at all for HTC to do that, firstly i doubt MS will let them as it doesnt fit the hardwere spec, secondly and rather more importantly, why would HTC want to upgrade a device when it can force you to buy a new one?
Microsoft will have more clients, if HD2 owners will use WP7 and it's MS services - Zune, Market, e.t.c. It can increase platform rank, give much money..
Or HD2 users will use Android..
It will be a good step for MS to let HTC update HD2 to WP7 for both MS, HTC, and HD2 owners!
MS made up their mind on this a year ago.
if this was true, we wouldn't have the DFT team to crack windows 7 snice the start.
Dear Amazing developers,
I am sure you have encountered this question several times but I just need to understand if I can install Android system on my HTC Trophy 7, I am hating how microsoft is hounding their users in such stupid way. Please advise.
Thank you so much
Not possible....yet. But, team from XDA.CN are working on Android ROM currently for HTC HD7. I think that if they make it for HD7, it could be done for all wp7s out there...
Here's the video about their progress.
Bye!

thank you so much, do u know an estimate or a time range?
Unfortunately noone does... I can guess that it might me avalible in let's say 1 month or more... If you ask me, I would love it to be avalible tomorrow, but i highly
doubt it happening.
We can only say thumbs up for this project and keep our fingers crossed that they
don't encounter heavy problems during the realisation of this project!
looooooool... Yep thats exactly what am doing RIGHT NOW
I can wait , just cant get into WP7 Ive tried and tried to like it but its still a 50/50 thing.
i think if the HD7 has nand Android i think its not so hard to port then Android
to Trophy and Mozart because they has the same CPU.

Why don't you just sell you WP7 phone and get yourself a new Android device ? The market price on a Trophy is as high as it's going to be, so you'll get the most for it now.
Also you don't not have to worry about Hacking Android to get it on the phone, that sometimes might not offer the best performace or hardware not working correctly.
Just wondering...
Is there anything new about putting Android on HTC Trophy, since last reply and asking about this was about the end of April..?
Thanks, and thumbs up for developers...
Nope, nothing new.
Please get yourself and stock android phone, i perfer WP7 over ANDROID everyday.
because they all have android least the trophy? Someday there will be someone dared you succeed? (before you break into pedas) jajaja
Some info to all the xda.cn video is just a fake confirmed by cotulla
anyone knows if somebody is doing it..? I mean, dooes it 'fits' on HTC Trophy..?
thanks
Why would anyone want to do this? And even more important why would anyone want to build a ROM? Screw Android. I'd rather someone make a Windows Mobile 6.5 ROM for the Trophy instead of this crap.
I do not agree with you... I believe it would be better if android fits on HTC Trophy... That possibility would be great!
