The first two pages of this forum section have no less than 5 active threads at this moment discussing that exact same question.
And most of those times it's ID 10 T error.

I got my HD2 last friday and i love it thus far, but i cant help be bothered by problems that just started monday. Such as it drops from 3G-E-G and goes back when i'm in the same position. Today the phone froze on, Message lag and every time i turn my phone from sleep i get this message.
"Cannot connect for a unknown reason. To check your connection settings and change them if needed tap settings. If the problem continues reset your mobile device according to your manufactures documentation and try again"
Even when it has full bars. I know a lot of these problems are software related and not hardware I would return the phone but i bought it new from ebay so i cant. Starting to regret this should of gone for the Nexus One.
Since you just got the phone last Friday, did you do much research on this phone? If you had, you would have read on the T-Mo HD2 forums and on here that there have been issues with the phone.
Research would also have suggested to you that the good number of the issues of lagging, freezing, and just plain weirdness on the phone can be attributed to the HTC/Sense Messaging app on the phone. What a number of owners have done is to disable this messaging app and to start using the standard WinMo messaging app. I've had my phone since release day and can say that with the HTC/Sense Messaging, I experienced the weirdness. Since flashing to a cooked ROM and disabling this, I have not experienced any of it at all.
Having said all that, it sounds like you're already frustrated with this and are having second thoughts. But you're in luck since the remorse period for you has not expired. So, I wholeheartedly recommend that you return the phone and get the Nexus One to avoid any future frustration with the phone.
I did do research, also some people have stated their aren't issues. Also i got this phone through EBAY so no remorse period. I like it, i'm just wondering when will Tmobile/HTC release an update that fix all these problems?

In that case, I suggest finding out from those people without issues why they don't have them and trying them on your phone. As for no remorse period, my bad.
And as for when T-Mo and HTC will release fixes? Perhaps we can ask our friends in the UK how long it's taken HTC to fix their issues. It sounds like they still have them even though they got the phone months ahead of us, so I'm not too hopeful.

I wouldn't be surprised is there are no more official updates released, as the phone is over 6 months old already. I suggest doing some reading and try to work out the problems yourself. It's a great and very versatile phone with tons of options and potential if you learn how to use WinMo and work out any kinks or problems you come across. There are tons of resources and people to help on this forum. Are you familiar with Windows Mobile, or is this your 1st Windows phone?
Well i hope they do. I do like the phone a lot love the big screen. I did have WM phone it was the Dash but i didnt do much to it..
Does any1 seeing the same problem? I update on Friday to the new rom and radio from tmobile website, and now my phone lags too much. Reception seems much better, even in places where i had only age - it shows 3g and H on data. But phone became very laggy. Also the responsiveness of touch screen is horrible. Any1 seeing this problems?
this is the reason why i stayed away from the new stock rom released. i wanted to upgrade but ive read alot about it lagging and such. but does it lag constantly? or just every now and then?
It wasn't official

Not constantly but enough to notice. For some1 who saying it's not official. It is official and i download from tmobile US by using my IMEI key
I was wondering if Samsung even know off this problem and when they plan to fix it
Updating to JG5 firmware pretty much makes it disappear. I suppose the formal JF6 firmware that's supposed to be released to europe somewhere during the next 2 weeks won't have it as well.
if you are are affected then do this
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=724251
else wait for the official fix.
i was never affected, but i did it anyways to gain a bit of extra speed

That thread is for semi god, not for ordinary human beings LOL.
The slow speed is really wearing me down. I hope 2.2 come up fast. I'm actually wondering if I could wait so long before I decide to get rid of my SGS.
I have got Jg5 firmware and have done the lag fix in that forum but it hasn't got rid of it properly, i still get it and find my phone slows down and needs rebooting.
I guess am a bit disappointed coming from a snappy Desire which in all honesty feels miles faster atm, i wasn't expecting this issue from what was said on all review sites as the fastest Android phone and this problem was never picked up on.
I know what you mean, Jabby. I was also blown away by the review on speed. But since we've already bought it, let's see if we can solve this problem.
Have you tried the solution mentioned in the following thread yet?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=731695
I'm in the middle of it.
what is the spec of your SD card?

So yea... my DVP locks up every once in a while, crashes, etc. Is this normal? I'm getting kind of annoyed and ready to do an RMA, but I can't be without a phone (obviously).
Just curious if I'm the only one or not.
Depends on what you mean by once in a while. Short answer is a rather high percentage of 16GB DVPs have major stability/lockup issues (lots of threads here about it), most 8GB are fine. Supposedly Dell will release a firmware update in the next couple weeks to adress it.
Yea, I have a 16GB so I guess that may be my issue.
Any location for the announcements from Dell on the issue? I'd love to see that update sooner than later.

Best thing to do is watch the boards here and follow Dell on Twitter. Most DVP news on Twitter comes from @LionelAtDell (http://twitter.com/lionelatdell) and on the #dellvenuepro hashtag (http://twitter.com/#search?q=#dellvenuepro)
Mine's 8gb and it locked up quite often, up to couple times a day. I started to think about returning..
Since NoDo my DVP has started to lockup randomly too. Before it was just with wifi, but now it seems rather arbitrary. Hopefully the firmware update will bring this one down too.
Mine was locking up primarily while in marketplace on wifi, then while charging. Now it's locking up while Zune is playing. Funny how it started locking up more after my 30 day refund warranty was up. I'd love to get my money back, but Dell says I can't. Now I'm waiting to see what my attorney general has to say about it.
It's ironic that when I viewed this link through my phone, it locked up my phone.
*sigh*

You are not the only one suffering with the random lockups. It is getting quite irritating with or without the no-do update. I am still randomly getting the lockup while charging but "especially" when using Internet Explorer. From my experience, using the browser seems to be much worse with the no-do update on my phone. I cannot tell you how many times the frozen/lockup situation occurred to me within a 5 minute span. Loading a site, freeze. Opening a tab, freeze. scrolling through a site, freeze. The phone basically works whenever it wants to work. I'm sorry but this is absurd and I hope the new update will solve these issues. If not, many people including myself will be extremely unhappy.
Hi
Is there anything on Android like Event manager on Windows, where I can go back and check what caused the crash?
I'm on SuperStock kernel and Superman Rom. Not changed much, besides having Xposed with Greenify and Amplify (with only a few standard alarms blocked).
Suddenly I got a Clash Royale crashed, then 3 vibrations and then a reboot. Would love to go back to see what caused the issue.
Thanks in advance
Good luck getting help with this on this site. I've asked a very similar question twice here over the past 4 mo. and have heard nothing from anyone. Disappointing.

I don't know if this happens on all XDA or just in this forum, I remember a while ago there are a huge community to help on anything, but that was when I owned a lot of sony phones...
anyways....
OP, u should check your rom/kernel thread to see if someone has that problem,u maybe need a log to know exactly whats happening (and help to solve the cause), check thread first though, maybe the answer is there
