Hi everyone.
I have a rooted G1 with latest radio, DeathSPL and KingxClick AOSP 1.9 working on eclair as a charm.
My only problem is that in the rooting/downgrading process, my first splash screen got changed for the ugly "G1/T-Mobile" splash screen...
When I turn on my device I see that screen for some seconds (maybe 20/25) and then it changes to the nexus-one animation from the flashed ROM.
Is there anyway to change the G1/T-Mobile screen???
Thank you in advance!!

Hi everybody,
i used the CleanEX Rom for quite a while. Now i flashed another rom.
Strange thing is, i still see a CleanEX Screen, right before the usual boot splash screen (with the radio-version a.o.).
Recently I flashed task29. if i boot now i see the CleanEX-Screen.
How can i get rid of it?
Hopefully someone can help me out.

Have you found a fix for this because I had the same thing happen to me. And now I flashed an Energy Rom but I have the Preboot screen of HTC HyperRom every time I boot up.
I think it's called the Pre Boot Splash.
Check it out here
You can also make your own splash using this tool.
Flash with the rom that have original boot screen... it will overwrite cleanEX.
stock boot screen mate
Thank you so much.
Sorry for the late answer.
Hello.
so i flash a core series WM mobile rom in to me HD2 and it puts the core splash screen before the HTC spalsh screen, i´ve task 29 like 4-5 times, replaced roms a few times.
how the heck do i get rid of the core series screen ?
its the first thing that comes up when i start up the phone.
look here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=668862
theres the stock splash screen
Check my sig.
with the kitchen you can make your own Splash Screen .bmp and simply add it in before you build the ROM... I used to have this issue too then i noticed that the ROM itself must have a Splash Screen if not it will stay with the one that was flashed before from a previous ROM
Hi Guys,
Has anyone had this problem?
I had MDeejays Froyo HD rom, and that worked perfect. i used it for a long time.
yesterday I decided to change my android rom.
I tried to boot android, then i got the white screen of HTC, so i thought it was installing. I went to bed, and in the morning it was still the same white HTC screen.
So i decided to go back to MDeejeys Froyo HD... when I try to boot, i get to that same white htc screen, sometimes i stays there for 5 minutes and then reboots (without any result), sometimes, it stays on that screen for eternity.
I reformatted the memory card, no result.
Any ideas?

any one have alverady chenge the splash screen ?
thinks for you help
Why is it so important to change the splash screen?
You only see that screen for a few seconds, and only when you reboot the device. Going through the trouble of changing the splash screen doesn't really seem worth it.
