Hello.
so i flash a core series WM mobile rom in to me HD2 and it puts the core splash screen before the HTC spalsh screen, i´ve task 29 like 4-5 times, replaced roms a few times.
how the heck do i get rid of the core series screen ?
its the first thing that comes up when i start up the phone.
look here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=668862
theres the stock splash screen
Check my sig.
with the kitchen you can make your own Splash Screen .bmp and simply add it in before you build the ROM... I used to have this issue too then i noticed that the ROM itself must have a Splash Screen if not it will stay with the one that was flashed before from a previous ROM

ok following a tutorial on here i managed to change my splash screen perfectly. which now i love.
but i was wondering if theres a way to change my windows mobile boot screen. ( the one that comes right after the splash ) just wondering
Yes, look in here http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?t=53306.
In this case of my O2 XDA orbit 2, I wanna change the first screen when starting up (the bootscreen, shows an O2 image with firmware, radio, rom info, etc, version info in the corner).
I've already searched and all I could find was info for changing the second splash screen and the option for having an animated image.

So I'm asking once and for all for me and others as well. Can it be changed and if so how?
Try Advanced Configuration Tools 3.3.0
Download link:
http://www.touchxperience.com/downl...ion-tool/Advanced_Configuration_Tool_v3.3.cab
to enable, disable, change boot screens etc..
personally I did not test it I Use the Tool Above for other purposes, but I saw there is also this option...
..........OR...........
Just use the artemis splash screen tool 0.7.1
It is a .NET Framework 3.5 application - you need the Microsoft runtimes.
Also do not forget the USPL flash
For me.. when i upgraded to different ROMS.. it automatically changed all the tym.. so now the default blue o2.. is nowhere..

Am golden now. It worked differently with the 3 different roms i was running. Now I've changed the initial bootscreen and the animated one. All's left is the secondary boot screen (this is usually the windows screen)

I hate the Win 6.1 crappy splash screen
With my Hermers I used to flash the splash screen with some other pictures
However if I ma not mistaken, as long as there is no Hard SPL for the Rhodium we cant really do that
Is there another method ?
Download Advanced Config Tool 3.3....latest version.
http://www.touchxperience.com/en/ad...vanced-configuration-tool-33-cab-install.html
Once you install it...it should be under the HTC Splash screen and Windows Splash Screen.
You will see the files and then you can do what you want with it
Shame on me I have the tool and didnt even checked it !
Thanks a lot (Feeling like a lazy bastard...)
Thanks I didn't know you could do that.
Since we get no love from the touchscreen people, I have modified a few of the spash screens found on here to fit our 320x240 screens.
I have an Ozone and there are 3 different splash screens the phone goes through at boot up:
1. HTC splash
2. Animated VZW splash
3. WinMo slash
Replacing the WinMo splash is easy. Just overwite \Windows\ms_splash.png
I can't find the image for the HTC spash screen though aywhere on the device.
Can somebody shed some light on this one?
i dont have any answers to your question but i do appreciate the splash screens you posted!
I found some answers here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=551651
But as usual, only led to more questions.

The green WM6.1 spash is a .nb0 file. The black HTC splashes are ROM parts 0x600 and 0x601 flashed onto the device. You already know ms_splash.png.
Check this out to make your own splashes, but beware, flashing ROM parts incorrectly could brick your phone.

Hi everybody,
i used the CleanEX Rom for quite a while. Now i flashed another rom.
Strange thing is, i still see a CleanEX Screen, right before the usual boot splash screen (with the radio-version a.o.).
Recently I flashed task29. if i boot now i see the CleanEX-Screen.
How can i get rid of it?
Hopefully someone can help me out.
Greets,
Tiggi
Have you found a fix for this because I had the same thing happen to me. And now I flashed an Energy Rom but I have the Preboot screen of HTC HyperRom every time I boot up.
I think it's called the Pre Boot Splash.
Check it out here
You can also make your own splash using this tool.
Flash with the rom that have original boot screen... it will overwrite cleanEX.
stock boot screen mate
Thank you so much.
Sorry for the late answer.
