Bricked Trinity

During flashing of my Trinity the software failed,
now the PDA will not switch on,
if i do a hard reset "Press send to restore factory default, press end to quit"
but after selecting send then ok,
the machine does not boot,
is there anything i can do?

try getting it into bootloader mode and re-flash.

I have tried doing a hard reset and it briefly pops up with the multicolour screen then asks about factory defaults is this what you mean?

Thanks .. that did the trick, perhaps I should look for a proper Orange M700 rom to get my GPS working next time...

Just bricked my trinity, 3 hours after I bought it, and this cold-reset saved my ass. The Eyron Hebrew support messed up my Spanish OS.

Can only reach boot screen, how do I hard reset?

I was trying some different Manilla2D stuff on my niki when after a soft reset the device wouldn't start. I get to the boot screen saying "windows mobile" and that's it.
Is there a way to do a hard reset?

But how do i do that? that's the problem. I only know how do do it trough the settings menu and then enter the "1234" thing.
I am using swedish stock rom, if that make any difference.

press the soft reset button with your stylus under the cover next to usb port is tehe soft reset button then press and hold green and red the press the reset button adn it should give u a hard reset screen

Button issues....Up, down, and random keyboard keys aren't working, help

Of course you need to be able to press "up" to do a hard reset so as of now I'm SOL. I've done a soft reset numerous times. Any ideas?

Help - menu button on homescreen.

Hi guys
My menu button on my homescreen now does nothing..
It used to bring up - change wallpaper, etc. Now it does nothing..
Does anyone know what i need to assign to it to bring back the old pop up menu?
I have searched but no luck!

Did you install anything recently after which your menu button does not work anymore? If yes, deinstall it and see if its working again. If no, either you have to do a soft or hard reset.

I installed a theme - soft reset didnt work.
Flashed a different ROM to start afresh!

Probably that was the problem. New theme and not working soft reset. Does the menu work now after different ROM?

Volume button doesn`t work... SOLVED

My side button of the volume doens`t work anymore. There is any way to make it work again with the RegEdit? Thank`s

maybe is a problem caused by a program or manila mod that you install unistall it and will be ok . Otherwise hard reset your device

CHT is not the problem,i have it installed too and volume button is working...so something else is the problem

and can`t be fixed with regedit?

Try to uninstall it!! I have he same issue after install and uninstall CHT

And how did you solved the problem? Hard Reset?

I have no problem with Volume Button (CHT Installed)

I had this same problem and got around it by reverting to a recent (week-old) backup rather than hard reset. I put it down to something I'd installed following the backup, and looking at download dates, the following were possibilities:
AvianPlay
RapidRead
ThrottleLauncher 1.2.1 (with BBSmart4D and WP7 1.7 themes)
Had you installed any of these just before you noticed the volume problem?

this happened to me after i installed a custom android taskbar and someone made a cabfix for it itz about on here somewhere try the custom taskbar threads
