Dear All Expert and Master,
I having a problem over here that is on my HTC HD2. When I brought it that time is show in the model is T8585. After I do the 1st flash to HSPL2 it still show the same thing. Then I flash the ori rom 1.66. There is no change on the model. Then I do the flash to Artemis v8 rom and also do the Task 29 and then Flash to Artemis v9 rom and I found out that the model has been change to T-Mobile Leo.
How this can happen?? how I can change back to T8585 and not the T-Mobile Leo ?????
Can anyone help me on this ???
It has changed to T-Mobile because Artemis ROMs use a T-Mobile build. It's nothing to be concerned about.
Which rom use the T8585 and which is the best rom that good for asian ppl that can support on CHS??

Hi all,
I have an HD2 from Orange in France.
SSPL falshing works perfectly for me but there is not a single original rom that I find compatible to my device so if it should brick at the next try I have nothing to get back to.
So my first question would be how to get my hand on an Orange rom.
And it would be great if that rom would have a newer radio than 2.04 since my device has this on.
Or is there another possibility without HSPL to flash another radio newer than mine??
Thx

Install shipped ROM 1.61 with Goldcard. So you will get the new Radio. Afterwards you can install other ROMs with SSPL.
Is there no way to flash the new 1.61 ROM with SSPL, that would make life much easier ? So I will get the newest radio ? I can get the RUU_signed.nbh from the 1.61 ROM and then flash with SSPL, or will that not work ?
Edit: already found out; you can flash with SSPL, but then it won't flash the radio ...
Rom 1.61? On HTC site there is only 1.48 or am I missing something?!
See this Leo ROM Development thread, it is in there !

Hi guys!
I haven't been around for a while since I had non-HTC devices, yet, I just got me a US HD2 from T-Mobile. Does anybody know if I could flash it with a German (or unbranded official WWE ROM) without bricking the device? Or better: did somebody try this already successfully?
I just would like to get it up and running in my home language (and also get rid of the T-Mobile Start Animation). Back in time, I never had any issues flashing a US MDA version with European ROMs, yet, I know this has changed due hardware differencies.
Any input would be appreciated.
its not going to happen.
if you flash any non tmous based rom will cause the phone to to hang at boot.
if the rom you attempted to use also included a radio (example stock 1.66 wwe rom) then the included radio would brick your phone.
the best you can hope for is a tmous based rom with german language included.
go look carefully through the tmous rom development section.

Yeah, I learnt it the hard way.
I found the warning thread / posts afterwards. Thankfully, T-Mobile simply exchanged it for me.
Hello, i have HTC HD2 T8585 t-mobile running on ROM 1.43.110.0. Is this version also called LEO and can i load HSPL2 on it?
Also, can i load European WWE 1.66 ROM on it after HSPL2?
Pls, help i am a complete newbie...thanks
This is area is for the TMOUSA version HSPL2 was designed for that version. You have a European HD2 (T-mobile ROM is either 2.10 or 2.13 stock) so check with the other forum with the correct software that is compatible with your phone

I think you are wrong...i checked out a site that says a person who has currently installed 'stock' ROM is v1.43 and he is advised to install hspl and then 1.66 ROM
I concur, you have a Euro hd2. To be sure go to settings--about phone, and look for "Flash Size". If it says 512mb, it is a Euro hd2. US hd2's have 1024mb of flash. Either way, if it is a US hd2 and you flash a Euro rom you will brick it.
The T-Mobile USA uses 2.10/2.13. This section of the forum is for the T-Mo USA HD2 users. You will get better answers in the original HD2 section, as that is your device. This section is T-Mobile USA.

You're better off going to the orignal HD2 forum and not the T-mobile one to ask about how to get HSPL onto it as we use a different HSPL program.
Try this guide:

I don't know if it will help, but it seems like a good place to start.
You can find specific info for your device here:

Good Luck.
just for clarity the confusion arose because of this incorrect statement.

HSPL2 WAS designed for the euro leo, HSPL2_1024 is the tmous version.
Thanks Sam I was wrong on the HSPL2 naming. I usually don't venture into the European forums for fear of grabbing a ROM from there and messing up my phone. So i forgot that the TMOUS version of HSPL2 is HSPL2_1024
Ok i will start. I wanted to flash the latest stock Wm 6.5 on my HD2 EU but i downloaded the T-mobile version of the ROM . I flash it 2 times before i see that this is T-Mobile version. Can i brick my phone if i flash the wrong rom? My Phone is EU ver. Thanks in advance.
Flashing a tmous rom to a euro hd2 is fine, no problem.
Thank you very much
