Diamond Ringtones & Notification

Found the Sounds from Diamond on this thread. Post nr 4!!
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=395400
Nice, thanks!
Sweet! I was looking for a simple download of sounds only. Thanks for the heads up!
Where should I put the audio files? In \Windows or \Windows\Rings directory? I noticed that all files in \Windows\Rings are duplicated in \Windows. Can I delete them in one of 2 locations to save space?
place the files where you like to.
ring-files in windows\rings can be deleted.
ringfiles in windows\ must be replaced with zero bit files to "delete" them.
But if I delete the files from both locations then I will not be able to use them. What I'm asking is in which folder I should put the files so that I can select them as ringtones
I put the tones i want as ringtone in My Device->Windows->Rings
Is it possible to adjust the volume of Diamond's ringtones from my TC?
Thanks!

Yes, I know... But even if the volume control is set to zero or 1 (or 2,3...), volume of Diamond's Ringtone is/will be the same (very high).
Probably is the .wma format???
Hmm.. yes you are right about that! Have someone a solution for that?? why its behave like this

Something in the registry?
Sorry, i have this problem: i can't adjust ringtone's volume of an incoming call.
Volume of other notifying sounds (sms, appointments etc.) and music work properly.
Even if i set 0,1,2... or max volume level, it's the same (very high).
I've installed 2 third party softwares: pTravelAlarm and mccMobilFinder (that increase the volume even if it is set to zero); i've uninstalled them, but the situation is the same.
Probably some issue in the registry? Wich are the registry keys involved?
Can you help me please?
Thank you!
I noticed the same problem with volume, cant say why it is so. Its very stange..

change touchHD volyme control from def. ring to system

as a frequent user of mp3 player i find the touchHD volyme most annoying, cause the default volyme by hardware keys are the ring volyme, and i want to raise and lower the system (music) volyme, so i made this simple regedit hack that will fix it.
start regedit in total commander for ex. than change to this value.
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\HTC\VolumeOverlay]
"DefaultPage"=dword:00000000
the original value is 1 if you want to change it back.

how to adjust incall volume?

I tried to search the forum but have only found "static settings" for incall volume such files to be overwrittein in \Windows directory or some registry tweak.
The question is simple: how can i change the volume of the voice of the people talking to me while a phone call is in progress?
(up down with the buttons on the left of the phone doesn'work, neither increase nor decrease, only taskbar icons flash a bit)
I needed that too, but I thought I didn't explore the phone enough.
Good to know.
Anybody?

PhoneVolume settings and call volume

there is a lot of debate going on about the volume during, especially outgoing, calls. There have been a few hints with respect to either changing the InCall regkeys or diminishing the music player volume in audio manager with Adv Config. For some this helps for others it doesn't. After searching the registry for a while, I found two reg keys of which I'm wondering whether they might have anything to do with the volume problem and I want to know how these settings are on your devices:
1. HKCU/ControlPanel/PhoneVolume/DownLinkPhoneVolume=102 (default)
2. HKCU/ControlPanel/PhoneVolume/MappedDownVolume=100 (default)
Does anyone out there know whether changing these keys might solve the volume problem?
Mine are both set at zero by default! I have the volume problem so no, these keys are not the culprit.
