Hi I'm just unboxing my white x10 now and notice a black dot a bit bigger then a pinhole but noticeable on the back cover towards the bottom. I am wondering if anyone elese has that aswell?

there's nothing black on the x10 battery cover. it has a SE logo, the word sony ericsson xperia in silver. nothing black. i'll go as far as there's nothing black at all on the white x10 other than the front sensor, the camera, and the 3.5mm jack
It appears to be a chip on the cover looks like I got a defective back cover
give us a screen shot for ur x10

because of the cracking-problem i ordered a spare-housing on ebay. My X1 is silver, the spare-housing is black. So i now have a silver and a black battery cover.
Following the threads around the cracks, most people think, that the cover is causing this somehow. It also seems to me, that the silver one cracks more often than black. So i tried the black cover on my silver X1. Looks quite nice, by the way But i noticed, that it fits much easier than my original silver cover.
A quick measure showed: The black one is a little bit wider. It is easier to put on and to take off. The silver one is 50.3mm and the black is 51.0mm. Look at the pics to see what i measured.
Now i am interested, if this is only with my cover. So please do check your cover-width and post the result. At the moment i am using my X1 without the battery-cover (it's in a case) to see wheter it is cracking again or not.

I think one of the reasons the cracks appear is due to temperature change of the metal surrounding the phone. Have had 2 black one's and both have had cracks in the metal and plastic.

I'm currently waiting for my third galaxy S2.
The first one had a red stuck pixel in the upper center of the screen.
The second one had a black particle in the screen (maybe a line of dead sub pixels)

Is your screen totally flawless, without any black spot when looking very carefully on a white screen ?
I can't believe I received 2 faulty screen... am I very unlucky or what ? (my previous Samsung SGH G600 had a black particle too stuck in the screen... )

Can't say my screen is flawless but don't have a black dot. Well I do but its dust under the screen protector. Haven't seen this before but read a post of dust getting under the screen.
I have a dead pixel on the bottom right side of the screen. It is only noticeable on a white background and it is super small and pretty much unnoticeable unless you look closely. It's red... It's been there for like a week now...kinda disappointed because I've only had the phone for a month and a half and I baby it lol.
I am lucky, my screen has no issues.
I seen the SG3 for the 1st time today, seen it in the white and blue (suspect this was just a display model, didn't ask)
I like the white, but also now seeing the blue this as well. Its hard to see on pics and I didn't check, is the sides both silver on both colours?
What I'm thinking is getting the White, and buying the official flip cover in blue it is a nice contrast as seen on a you tube vid

So ignoring the back cover, is the only white bit on the front, i.e. on the sides it is both silver?

The blue one's sides are a pale blue colour
The blue one has a sort of bluey purple metal side while the hite is silver.
I had another look at the blue on today and i seriously do not like it and am glad i chose white.

Hi there. Is there any owners of yellow model? Interested in back cover - is it matte or glossy? Know that white one is matte for sure.
The dark grey/black one is also matte so I would guess the yellow one is also matte (and the other colours too)
All of them are matte, almost pretty sure of it. If you don´t like it you could wait for a unofficial back cover to come out
Okay I'm on Superman 1.10 and I got a IQ shield wet screen protector on it. Before all this my camera was fine on the front. I notice when I'm wearing black the camera has the blue halo at the bottom. Why is this and is there a fix? I'm freaking out bad over this. Also, I got the debrand skin for the front and tore it off in a frenzy thinking it was the cause. Any help at all would be great! Thanks. Attached is a photo. Not sure how the white would look.
