whats the best battery replacement in terms of performance for our blackstone... i want to buy an extended battery but it should fit in current case.....
i saw a battery of 1500mah by Mugen.... of the same Physical size as stock battery (stock battery 1360mah) ... can anyone confirm its performance if they have used it?
There's quite a long thread here about what the best extended battery is:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=531537
To save you some time the consensus is that there is not a good standard sized replacement. I have the 1500 Mugen and I notice no difference between it and the OEM 1350 battery.

I was browsing on eBay and saw that there are higher capacity batteries avaliable for the O2 Atom in 1600, 2200 and 2400mah. The later two seem to include a replacement back cover as the battery is physically larger. Just wondering if anyone has used these and if there any good as battery life isn't so flash with the Atom?
I had one for my old Wizard - it did last a long time, but was pretty unsightly. Just for those occasions where you're away from home a long time (I used it when sailing)
Neither the look or larger size worry me if it's going to make a decent improvement to battery life.

Just before my Atom went to PDA heven ,
I bought a Mugen extended battery.
3000 mAh
came with 3 new covers (black/grey/white)
worked a treat , but did double the width of the phone
(can show you pic's if you like.)
Bought from a member of this site, who is one of the top 5 donators.
Australia based.

can highly recommend them .
(safer than e-bay IMHO )
After using this battery , I can say the 3000 mAh will last Almost double .
Anyone have any idea how good this extended battery is for the Tilt?
HTC Li-ion Extended Capacity Battery with Black Extended Battery Door
Product Details:
HTC Li-ion Extended Capacity Battery with Black Extended Battery Door:
The aftermarket AT&T Tilt li-ion battery includes a black extended battery door. This AT&T Tilt Battery requires two to three complete charge cycles to reach full performance and is rated at 2400 mAh. The AT&T Tilt Extended battery is the perfect extra or AT&T Tilt replacement battery.
Compatible with: HTC 8925 / AT&T Tilt / TyTN II / HTC Kaiser
Is this one good or does it have issues like the others that have been mentioned with the power readings?
Just curious cause could really use an extended battery and would like a reliable one, if there is any.
Thanks,
Flandrel
Tilt Extended Battery?
I have heard some mixed stories about some of the extended batteries from actualy users.
First looking at the 2800 size battery:
http://www.amazon.com/AT-Tilt-Elect...=wl_it_cm_cr_acr_txt?ie=UTF8&showViewpoints=1
"This larger battery lasts about 1.5x longer, so around 15 hours (or more, I haven't let it drain completely, yet). This wasn't a huge increase, but it does let me use the phone for roughly a full work day. My usage includes push e-mail during the day, with numerous incoming and outgoing text messages, and maybe 30 minutes of talk time.
Charge time is excellent in my opinion, it took around two hours to charge the battery from 20% to 100%. "
Next I was looking at the 3200 size battery but couldn't understand why the price on these were so much higher than the 2800 for the little extra run time that you are getting.
http://www.amazon.com/Mugen-3000mAh...dp_top_cm_cr_acr_txt?ie=UTF8&showViewpoints=1
"PROS:
- the battery fits in the phone perfect
- the new back cover given is high quality, fits nicely, and looks great
- the new battery and back cover combo makes the phone thicker, obviously, but it is not over-bearing and easily noticable to others
CONS:
- just one, but it is a big one. so, the original battery is 1350mAh, right? well, that wasn't getting it done at all. we're talking 8-10 hours a charge with minimal phone calls. i do have exhange push email and another pop email that i am checking. that is most of the battery drain i imagine. fine, so i saw this and thought, "perfect, 3000mAh! this should get me a whole lot more time". well, as i finding out, not really. to be fair, i am getting more time. i would say 12, maybe 14 hours. a net gained of 4 hours. that seems strange to me for a battery that is 2.5 times as big. anyway, just want to give you a heads up so there isn't too much disappointment. PS - i did the whole "battery training" thing where i charge it all the way up, ran it all the way down....etc. 4 days in a row. "
So hope that helps...
I just hope this with an emergency charger, http://www.amazon.com/Battery-Charg...UTF8&coliid=IR8PJ5939FJ0L&colid=3UMYZBAJT4AYL
helps me get a full day with my unit...If this doesn't help I might consider the Iphone because I hear that is getting a full day of juice with one charged regular battery.
i was useing a 2400ma extended battery it worked good other than the door would catch on the part where the extended battery was sticking out pop the door off knock the battery out and turn off my phone. it was such a pain in the butt that i decided that i would rather charge my phone everyday than look in my holster to find my phone had been turned off for who knows how long. i was thinking about getting this battery though next time i feel like i have money to blow. http://www.amazon.com/1600mAh-Exten...1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1226420513&sr=8-1
I bought the 2800 Mah battery. And it came with a ugly back door so i order the nice door that looks similar to the orignial cover. Well the 2800 works better and last longer. it mite last longer n better if you have a custom firmware. cuz im running the 6.1 n i heard the battery dies fast from it. But with the extended battery my phone dosent die fast.
Was just wondering about this battery and if anyone has tested and if its genuine...
2430mAH Battery
if not could anyone suggest a good battery that ensures all day battery running android 3.4, i have to switch it of while in work and back on at break to ensure it lasts me until i reach the charger..
2430mAH ??
Never heard before, really huge....
BUT:
"SAME SIZE AS ORIGINAL BATTERY"
Because of the reason that the (original) battery with 2300mAH is (much) bigger than original size i'am very sceptical....
there already are a couple of threads for this battery and their user experiences,
example http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=926183.
But the conclusion is that it's not better nor worse than the standard battery and that there's no way on earth to squeze 2430mAH in the same battery size as the original.
I've been looking around eBay and I came across the 3500 mAh battery for the Defy+.
Has anyone tried this, and if so, what are your opinions? 3500 mAh is a massive force of battery life, even though I am sure the parts are not that quality from looking at the 8~10$ average eBay price.
So should I get this battery to serve me as an extra/backup one?
It will be actually much much lower mah then its mentioned for 8$ believe me.

I have one. Not sure about the total mAH but the battery seems at least better than my old stock battery. No one makes a good case for a Defy with the extended battery. I've resorted to running the phone naked. I might get some gaffers tape to add some protection.
Also keep in mind your water resistance goes away with the extended battery. Not a big deal if you are careful. The bigger battery combined with a battery saver to turn off data/wifi when screen is off allows the battery to easily last more than a day.
Edit: I changed back to my old OEM battery. The extra bulk made the phone too annoying to carry. There was extra battery life but the meter did not reflect the upgrade so it was hard to gauge. It's annoying to be running at 0-1% for a few hours because it could die anytime.
I bought a 7500mah extended battery for my Note 3 replacing the 3200mah.
I play games on it and usually it would last around 5-6hours of gameplay with the 3200mah.
With this 7500mah battery i don't notice an increase that big, maybe 1hour at most.
I deleted the battery file in Data/system with a full charge
Do i need to tweak my phone with some mods or commands to be able to use the battery at full? is my phone only prepared to 3200mah or something?
i've been searching the net but all ppl say is how to improve battery life on original batteries by turning off gps wifi etc.
Most oem battery are not what they label it to be. Efficiency is not there.

is your 7500mah battery bigger ie just over twice the size of the stock battery. if not id lean towards your new one isn't 7500mah

Absolutely right!
7500mah is a joke!
to be 7500mah must have twice bigger volume
Look at the zerolemon upgrade battery its massive in comparison
