Any specific reason why you are opposing such tools? Think of them as sophisticated registry editors.

I know the old way of choosing your own default input method doesn't work anymore in WM5. Has anyone found a solution to this? I don't even think the tweak 2002 software works.

dont know, but i installed resco keyboad, and it is possible to set that as default, so there must be a way!
I don't have resco keyboard, but do you set it from resco, or do you have to do a registry change?

there is just a 'set default' in resco
Try SKTools (from SKSoftware)
What does SKtools do? I thought it's a today plugin. Can you tweak for the default input?
Nope, its not a today plugin.
It has various functions like cleaning your system, tweaking settings and so on.

I dont think its work... return to my old setting, sorry
I just checked it, diamond config tool doesnt have the same tweaks.
And i just changed the values in total commander, and the new values were not there, i changed it myself.....
But my touch response is great, same as before, so i dont mind
maybe those 2 app did the tric for you but for me the tweaks made the phone a hell of lot more sensitive to my touch!! i mean now all i do is place my finger on the screen and the thing is sellected and in TF3D scrolling hase become a lot easire!!

Try this : http://www.modaco.com/content/i9x0-...ly-working-r2vs-or-srs-wow-hd-for-omnia-i900/
Will it work
I think that it won't work on ks20 but I'm not sure... So... Will it work on ks20 ??
I used to enjoy SRS WOW on my previous PPC : this app is fantastic to bring a much better sound while listening music.
Owner of an omnia, I never managed to have SRS WOW working (tried 1.2.1 and 1.5.1), and modified cabs for the omnia never worked on mine and according to reports do freeze the ppc (or need to stop screen auto shutdown)
So I was very eager to test this R2VS.
But the sound using this app is lightyears from SRS. In fact, I even prefer the unmodified sound !
By the way, no need to have this app to use and configure the native R2VS sound on every app (with less config possibilities). You just have to select a sound config in the samsung player (first button labelled 'norm' when not active), and the setting is used in the other apps like S2P & Windows Media player.
Well, still waiting for a successful SRS cab for my omnia...
can this app be used on other win mob devices like htc kaiser 120
Is this limited to the Omnia's hardware?
never mind got it to work with kaiser 120/tilt, sweet I like it great, only some reason only works with wired headphones, not bluetooth ones, I got the S9, Thanks anyway
Just now tried in my HTC Wizard but don't work. No change in music or sound.
Is this releated to app. I am using audio manager.
FYI; SRS WOW works fine in my device.
Thanks and regards

I'm afraid there is no way for you to use the HTC equalizer with your BT headset!
If you want an equalizer, you will have to use a different player (f.e. CorePlayer) or install another equalizer (f.e. SRS WOW HD)!

Its possible!!! Just download HDTweak and in there 3.2 had a option -audio booster- its the equalizer found in touchflo music tab- which is disabled! just set it to enabled and you can use the equalizer even without any headphones!! but you have to set it back to enabled after every reset!
But trust me- Nokia Bh-503 has perfect sound (good bass and good frequency response) so you wont need a equalizer!!! I know it because I also have a BH-503 and Touch HD!!

No!!! Although you can enable the HTC equalizer using HDTweak without headphones plugged in - and the EQ will then work with the speaker - it will not work with a BT headset!!!
I use Pocket Player with my HD. It costs $20 USD, but IMO, is well worth it. There's a 30 day demo available to give you an opportunity to evaluate its worth to you.

BTW - in HDTweak there are some bluetooth options that makes your sound through bluetooth headset much better!! But I havent tried them!

Yeah - you definitely have to tweak A2DP! Otherwise the sound isn't great at all... I don't use HDTweak to do that, but I guess it offers the same options.
Here's what I do:
1) In the registry, head to HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Bluetooth\A2DP\Settings and delete the values "MaxSupportedBitPool" and ""BitPool".
2) Then add a new DWORD with the name "SampleRate" and the value "48.000".
3) Restart.
That makes a huge difference!

Hello everyone,
I want to know how to Break the 100db sound limit on EUROPEANS ROM.
The Blackstone CAB (Audio_Full_Boost.cab) dont work with LEO
It's a very anoying issue.
Best regards to all.
Thierry
just a little up
Have a tinker here
HKLM\drivers\builtin\wavedev
There are two settings that look possibly interesting.
sysmaxvolume
and
appmaxvolume
though they do appear to be connected to bluetooth...
Course, i accept no rsponsibility if you burst your speaker/eardrums.
See here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=5288234&postcount=15
yep up this ....i also want more volume on my tunes !!!
Thanks to samsamuel and tkalli for answer.
I will try this.

I think it doesn't work as the audio is already boosted by HTC. Which explains the noticeable distortion at high volumes, and the lack of low volumes, i.e. it goes straight from 0% to about 15% volume, which only happens after artificially boosting the volume.
Heck boost this speaker any louder and the distortion would just keep on getting even worse

is someone tried this?
there is
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\ DRIVERS \BuiltIn\ WaveDev] ,,acoustic file" = sys max volume 6.
what would happen if this sys max volume change to larger number 7 or 8 ,maybe it can enable audio para3.csv to take effect?
