hey guys i need some advice
i recently got my HD2 T9193 rom version 1.48... i had the SMS bug problems not sending or receiving sms, so i decided to update the rom to 1.72 not knowing that it actually locked my settings to telstra making the whole phone to telstra logos everywhere,
so my problem is, i manage to fix the sms problem but now i cant connect to the internet as i am on OPTUS not telstra, i was able to connect to the internet before i updated the rom,
so any suggestions???

Hi all, I recently purchased a secondhand PDA2 from trademe in New Zealand, and immediately upgraded the firmware/rom from the imate site, however I've now lost access to Vodafone LIVE (infact I can't even connect to the vodafone network - Get NO SIGNAL message) Long story short, does anyone out there have a Vodafone NZ rom backup? (don't ask me why I didn't back up-don't even wanna go there!) Thanks

SMS sending not working on Orange HTC HD unlocked in now Tmobile UK HELP!
When i try to send a text it says your text message cannot be sent
also internet WAP is not working either. tried many different settings still its a no go. annoying stuff.
phone was on Orange but i unlocked it. i can receive and make calls but SMS and Internet not working at all. not even for once.
please suggest me your solutions.

The phone will be crippled with Orange's software, pop over to Blackstone ROM Development and look at the thread Hard-SPL for Blackstone and then when you understand what is involved flash the SPL. Then download and flash either an HTC ROM or one of the many custom ROMs. (By the way [WWE] is the language the ROM is in = Worldwide English)
Hello, I'm new to the forum and searched around for this but couldn't find an answer.
I'm using the Telus Hero on Telstra and i'm finding that the browser defaults to the Canadian Google site or just stalls when searching Google and not including ...com.au for Australia.
I'm wondering if anyone else has had this issue in taking the Telus Hero to AT&T in the U.S. or down to Australia. I am considering putting the RUU World Wide English, generic rom onto the phone to see if that clears up the problem.
If i use the Opera browser I don't get the issue, it only stalls or time outs on the default browser.
Any help is appreciated in de-Canadian-izing the phone...

Tried to install the Orange RUU and got a model error, can't update...
Trying not to have to root my phone to fix this.
Hi there... I've been a happy HD2 user until this morning, when my device suddenly stopped connecting to GSM / UMTS network... and the problem is it can't find ANY provider in the area. I've tried with different operator SIMs, but still no success... Obviously I tried to flash the stock rom back, and even to upgrade the radio (now running TMOUS 2.12), without effects... What could I try before contacting the HTC Support??

Hope somebody can help me with this problem.
I recently brought a tattoo. Just noticed today I cannot get mobile internet.
The phone was on Vodafone but unlocked. I'm on t-mobile. I know I have data services because I used to have it on previous phone touch pro.
The Rom is ruu Vodafone UK.
Anybody got any ideas on a fix

FIXED...... I flashed a custom rom worked fine, and then I just tired a WWE ruu rom worked wonders, so just vodafone ruu rom not working with t-mobile.
