Htc touch cruise unstable

Hi everybody !
I have a Htc touch cruise riginal swedish rom , and after upgrading to 6.1 from the htc site , the phone became very unstable .The camera dont work anymore , lots of crashes , synk is not working .....
Please could someone help , shall I go back to windows 6 ?

I think the problem is the RADIO, if you do the Hard SPL and then you install this RADIO all problems with the camera, sync and the rest of the conections will desapear.

My Polaris is stable as Windows device can be stable.
But I use WWE ROM, so please compare Radio versions and whatever else you can compare.
I tried going back to 6.0 and failed miserably... It could get only worse, IMHO.

I had the same problem with my Cruise with 6.1. It restarted itself and hanged in about every phonecall. I tried every radio rom available that i have found on this forum.
I contacted HTC support and the last answer was that i should call the local ANOVO support here in sweden and request a downgrade to 6.0. They wrote also that i could be the drivers in 6.1 that caused the problems!!!
Now i has flashed the "c_shekhar WM1.60.21014aCS WWE ROM (build 21014.1.6.0)" with old drivers an the phone works again. The only problem i had so far is that Youtube application freezes sometimes and Opera also freezes sometimes.

Thank you very much for the info , I have tryed to update the rom but that did not fix the camera problem , so I went for this solution ; installing a kokt Rom for the first time . I used ( "c_shekhar WM1.60.21014aCS WWE ROM (build 21014.1.6.0)".Now the camera works and the phone is more responsive.
The only minor problem is that I lost the swedish language.
This problem made me discover a new way to enjoy my touch cruise

Downgrading wm 6.5 to 6.1

Hi all
I've flashed my Wizard with wm 6.5 by ham3r and now my Wizard don't recognize the SD card.
I want do downgrade to a rom of 6.1 that i have, but it stucks when it's flashing.
Solutions?

Windows mobile 6.1 for HTC Touch(Elf)

Hello..i have an HTC touch,or Elf as you call it, which had windows 6.1 proffesional installed and now i've updated the rom and went back to 6, its original rom..im still looking though for the 6.1 pro ROM..is there anyone who can help??
i just need the the files to install it and run normally as before...if you dont have the 6.1, can u suggest a couple of good ones 6 and the link to download them??

[Q] Problem when flashing wm 6.1 over 6.5

Hi there! I observed a problem after i flashed my P3300 with wm 6.1 ROM ( i had WM6.5 Babelut rom before) my phone was going offline all by itsself but on the screen it apeared that it was on and when i tried to call someone it asked for pin , i flashed another 6.1 rom and this time i couldn't send sms , when the phone was going in sleep mode it didn't wake up with power button only with hard reset, my songs were playing very fast (pitch) i returned to WM6.5 babelut and every thing is fine, i used uspl everytime and my spl is 1.11cmon.
Any ideas?? TY in advance.

I think it's a problem with your radio version; It might be only compatible with wm6.5. Try downgrading your radio rom, or keep wm6.5.
p.s., moving this thread to upgrading, since it's a question about upgrading/flashing.

xda exec crashes a lot

can anyone help?
i flashed my exec with windows mobile 6.1 vanilla but the device randomly crashes., mainly when using the camera or watching tv series from sd card
was wondering if would probably be better to use a lite version of 6.1 rom what's your thoughts on this, or does anyone have a decent fast 6.1 rom that i can try out stable please., not sure if 6.5 would work properly on the exec as not tried that yet

man how did you flash your xda exec? I'm getting my old vista laptop to flash tomal's 6.1 rom but i cant find the drivers needed for 32 bit vista. if you help me with this i can test my 6.1 rom for you

i used activesync 4.5 to connect to windows xp then mitty to wipe the device prior to flashing wasn't too hard to do., not sure how can share the files., if you have a idea on how i can help with sharing them if helps
