Hi
Is there a ROM available that supports .NET Compact Framework Version 2?
If so, what version is it, and where could I get it from?
Any help appreciated...
the normal frameword 2 is not even released yet
and have compability issues with 1.1 code
so i doubt you'll be seing a rom any time soon which include it
prob when it get released you can get an update
.NET CF 2.0 Beta
you don't need a new rom, if you're using VS2005 Beta1 (other than the express editions) VS will deploy the CF on your device , as well as your prog
hope this helps
Guys any advice please,
I'm having trouble updating my .net framework from SP3 (1.0.4292.0) to v2.0 on a HTC 630. Can anyone tell me how as I'm pulling my hair out! Every download I've tried isn't working.

Hi.
I was hoping someone could recommend a book on developing with the compact framework 3.5.
There are a few around in the shops for cf 2.0 but I want to get the most up to date stuff, so has anyone read any books on developing with cf 3.5 that they could recommend I would appriciate it.
I have tried to install compact netframe on my HD2 but I have 3.7 on my phone and it says I have a later framework and have to unistall. Has any had experience with this? Can somone post the steps to make this happen? I would like to use cookie home tab.
If there is a newer version on your phone, in all certainty it would be backward compatible with apps that need previous versions. So AFAIK you don't need 3.5 specifically any version above 3.5 would do.
yes you do it says you need to unistall the later before installing 3.5 and cookies home tab editor does not work without it.
I just got a HD2 also
& would like to know if there is any Version of -
Microsoft .NET Compact Framework we need to install ?
Or other Must install apps
Thanks

USB Host = Needs Testing.
Currently, only WM6.5 and Ubuntu can make Leo host USB.
I don't think the drivers for android are available (at least not publicly)
Cotula has done some drivers and software, search his threads.
Sent from my HTC HD2 using xda premium
I made the cable and used Cotula's files to run it on WM. I can connect USB drives and USB keyboards to my HTC HD2. What I am really interested is attaching my USB-Serial (Prolific chip) cable so I can connect a Cisco Console cable.
There is an App for connecting USB-Serial (Prolific chip only) cable to android phones on the market but only supports Android 3.0. Can anyone advise a simple way for having something similar on Android for cellphones. The name of the App is Slick Serial 2 USB
Saw on dealextreme a readymade MicroUSB to USB Host cable. Would like to see USB Host on Android too...
