Slow browser speed on opera 9-10 using 3g - HD2 General

Has anyone else noticed the slow browsing speed when they are using Opera version 9-10 on 2g/3g TMOUS. I get about 700-1200kbps as opposed to 3000-7000kbps when using either opera mini, internet explorer, or skyfire. It works pretty decent on wifi connections, but when it's turned off, the speeds will drop down big time. Is there a fix for this?? Is anyone else having the same issue?

My I.E is even slower. Takes a minute to load a page. My Opera is not much faster. It's ridiculous. My orbit2 is faster.

I get full HSDPA and can only get 190kbps.....
id kill for the speeds youre getting

what I do right now is use opera mini or skyfire when I'm on the mobile network, when I'm using wifi, I used opera 10. I just wished I could use opera 10 for all scenerio since it's soo smooth in rendering pages.

Internet Speed help!

Hello,
With my phone goes something strange with the internet speed.
When I use any browser or even skifire to watch videos is quite slow in the youtube app is the same, but if I use my hd2 internet sharing option on the computer I can see perfectly videos and I work to 1015 mbps.
I tried several roms and radios but the performance is similar.
I know I cannot compare a computer with the hd2 but I find it very strange that even the skyfire feel much slower than my old Samsung omnia I900L.
A similar thing happens to anyone or does anybody know how to improve navigation from the cellphone?

[Q] Is it possible to slow Firefox's speeds?

I'm tethering on my PC via my G1 (HTC Dream). It is against the rules of my provider to tether, but I have no home internet and I only want to do some minimal browsing.
They can see I'm tethering through two ways - unusually high upload/download speeds and also what device I am using. They only really get notified whilst finding the unusual speeds though.
So, my question is: Can I slow down my Firefox, Chrome or even that horrible Internet Explorer down in order to not get caught?
I don't mind incredibly slow speeds, as long as I don't get caught!!!!

Ridiculously slow internet speed

Is anyone else getting this problem with internet explorer? Web pages takes forever to load whereas the stock browser on android was much faster. Do you guys have any suggestion on how to fix this, since i have tested the speed at multiple places and still getting the same slow result.
Actually,I found it faster.
Sent from my HD2 running Android on NAND
I thought the internet speeds were very close to what I had on Android
Sent from my HD4.5 using Board Express
what the heck
Thats weird i did all the steps correctly using the guides i dont know its so slow... did you guys do anything special on your phone?

I'm with the same problem...
Do you gave 3G disabled, maybe Without 3G web pages would surely be a pain to use.
For me personally IE works like a charm. If this thing would have a password manager it would be my personal favourite mobile browser.

Oh forgot to mention that i dont have a data plan, use mainly wifi for my internet needs
Navigon downloaded yesterday some 400 MB of maps through my home WiFi and it took no more than 5 min. As i'm on 12 Mbit ADSL I guess WiFi speed is more than OK on WP7.
Never tried IE Mobile through WiFi cause I'm on unlimited data and it makes no sense to use WiFi.

After upgrading from a 1GB card to an 8GB card I have also a very slow internet connection.
I tried to download maps for Navigon and failed because less storage space.
After changing to an other 8GB µSD card (do a software hardreset & reconfigure my device) I mentioned that syncspeed & downloads are very slow (ethernet & WiFi).
The download of Navigon maps takes aprox. 6 hours. :-( ==> (8Mbit Internet connection)
mobile HSDPA connection seems ok.
speed was awesome withouth sd card for me, with sd card the phone seems to be very slow overall

[Q][Help] Wifi inconsistencies

Just picked up the nexus 4 with virgin in Canada.
Wifi behavior is very bizarre. Here are my observations;
- Web browsing (chrome) stops responding, pages don't load, so often need to refresh pages
- Tapatalk behaves like Web pages. Stops responding, does not load and sometimes get error that Web server cannot be accessed
However;
- Speed test app gives great results
- YouTube streaming is fine, no lag or issues
- Wifi status is always connected
- Bars stay blue
Router is in DHCP, 2.4 wifi.
Same router works fantastic with my t989d. Which makes the N4 disappointing.
Any tips or suggestions appreciated.
