i don't know why and how the little task manager on the taskbar is missing which can be useful for closing opened apps.
how can i back it ???
What ROM are you using?
In some ROM's the Chefs has build the ROM without the Taskmanager.
also in some roms the task bar shows the clock in thee top right but when you tap it you get a task manager.

Some people mean that this is not normaly.
So my question: is my phone up-2-date?

This is the rom my phone [arrived last week] shipped with too.
There is a newer one on the HTC website ver 1.66 from 25th Jan 2010
It's the Manila version that confuses me.
Like the OP I too have Manila version 1.0.19211622.1 (a little higher version than the OP). I've read in XDA that all HD2 supposedly shipped with Manila 2.5.
Why have we got v1.0?

No, if you choose to flash the official ROM from HTC matching your phone and you do exactly as told by the flashing software from HTC, there shouldn't be any problem.
Ok, i will try updating to 1.66 in the next days..
Any answer to Manila version?
Another question, the OS version is the newest? 5.2.... sounds not like 6.5 (wm)

Flash to an English (WWE) rom. Read the stickies on how to flash a rom. you can either choose a stock wwe rom or else use a cooked wwe rom.

its realy not automatic to answer your question, but your can get a "serial number" for wwe rom if you do read and study forums here.... Its like " your free to roam around my friend"

I try put wwe rom cant work,I have german pack i hd2 leo,
manila version 2.5.
ROM ver.1.66
SPL ver. 1.42
I also try install and crack Leo whit HSPL, didnt go too,connestion time out Error
I also try to do whit some QMAT 5.07 program didn't go also
I try put directly RUU LEO WWE 3,14 didnt go too
can anyone answer me to my situacion,I dont have solution for my Leo,and its not also locked for any SIm card

Hi! I'm no expert but all I know is you cannot upgrade the manila version like any ordinary means. That means there's no CAB file to install for the upgrade or upgrade it online. The chefs usually cook take the latest ROM and take the necessary parts then cook it into a ROM. So it means you can only have the latest Manila by flashing the lastest ROM.

I am on the O2 1.72 ROM and my Manila version is 2.5.2012xxxx.0.
Just out of interest, what is in Manila 2.5.2016 that you require?
I am just interrested in having the latest version of Manilla on my new shinny toy.
Do you have any links to ROM's that include the latest version of Manilla for the HD2 and any caution to advise.

I have seen HTC has released official 2.54 ROM for Topaz that is available @ below downloads. I am looking for any one who tried this ROM to see what is inside this and how does this differ from 2.53 Roms?

In the TD2 forum I see one reply telling that NOT TO INSTALL THIS ROM, as after install device dont start at all.
