[Q] cm mod upgrade stopped on verification error

hello all
i am trying to upgrade from android 1.6. to cm 6. my details are here: forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=781028
i have stopped at applying the update.zip. it stops with this error:
Verifying update package...
E: No signature (572 files)
E: Verification failed
Installation aborted
when i tried to implement the telnet app as suggested in this thread: forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=559889 i get an unable to connect to server.
what am i missing?

solved
the issue was with clockworkmod recovery. a simple reinstall solved it.
note that each time i wanted to boot into recovery mode i had to flash then boot

[Q] ROM update issues

ive encountered an error while trying to update my rooted motorola defy from 2.2.2 to jellybean.
i was using the update.zip method and got as far as installing it on the recovery mode before this happened
"Finding update package ...
Opening update package ...
Verifiyng update package ...
E:failed to verify whole-file signature
E:signature verification failed
Installation aborted."
any ideas?

SGGP Restarting

Update to 5.0.2 by Odin
after update the phone it's restarting , when i hard-reset the device an error message comes
E: unknown volume for path [/sbfs]
E: unknown volume "/sbfs"
if anyone have experience pls support me

flash android 4.4 stock rom with odin with full data erase.it will fix your problem

But I want a solution to stop the phone restart , and wish to stay with the rom 5.0.2

After update my phone to 4.4 fom this link:

when restart to recovery mod to inistall any rom write this eror:
E: footer is wrong
E: signature verification failed
I inistall twarp ,cwm,phliz ,…. Whit odin or recovery but no resolve this problem
Please take the link of stable and tasted the latest version firmware 4 me or suggest
The other way I think this problem may the eror from rom

hi after teh downloading the other rom 4.4.2 in other countery my problem is countinu plz help me
my problem is this eror:

and this error show when i choose the zip file like cwm or twarp for changing my rom

First I tried UL_ASUS_T00F-WW-2.21.40.44-user
Then UL_ASUS_T00J_WW_1.14.40.16-user
Now I don't have any OS... I removed resurrection remix v5.8.2 due to freezing issues

Try .54 . I flashed it succesfully to my brother's phone.
If you're flashing stock rom because of freezes, you can do freeze patch by nheolinkin

Oh... I got it back.. Both of my zip files were corrupted... I just downloaded new file and now it is fine

My mobile is showing USB logo and not booting.... Please help me out with .54 firmware steps from flashing fastboot to firmware installation...

If it is showing USB logo, try to go back to bootloader by pressing power+volume button.. then select reboot
