ive been trying to unlock my screen here for couple hours and need to make business calls. everytime i call a phone number it calls just fine but my whole screen is locked! i can't use speakerphone, can't mute the call, can't use keypad. nothing works while im in the middle of a call? only the 4 hard buttons on the bottom of the htc hd2 work
can anyone help me please? i need to make some calls and need my keypad back!

Hard reset it, that should resolve the problem.

If you by any chance enabled the "increase tap time" with BsB tweaks, then you have to disable it.
This is anyway covered a lot in the forums

first post, hello
i have just got a xda mini s, and im a complete noob with it really. well.. not completely.. but i cant seem to do the simple things
like
1. the two softkeys are stuck on only being Calendar (left) and Contacts (right) and i cant seem to change it or find the option to anywhere?!
2. Smart dialing has disapeared! i did have it.. then i took off the o2 active stuff by resetting as it was about to customise.. and now smart dialing has gone and i kinda liked it
thats it for now but im sure i will have more soon!
any help appreciated

ok i found the softkey application but still stuck without smart dialing lol
just open the phone function like you are going to make a call, click menu>smart dialing options, check enable.
it didnt come up, but ive sorted it now with extended rom and installing the file
another question -
how do i set it completely on silent?!?! when i have sounds and notifications ALL off and the volume on off it still makes a sound when i have sent a message telling me my balance. this is annoying!! anyone know how to turn it off??

Even though I dont own an HD2 (yet).. try going in settings tab then down the bottom choose "menu/all settings", then choose personal, then phone and sellect keypad "off".. take care

Hey i cant find any way to turn off keyboard sound during messaging...
When i set system volume from volume button to minimum then it also minimizes my sms alert volume...
I have turned off keypad tones from settings>personal>phone but it doesn't turn off keyboard sound during messaging...
please help me out!!!

When I'm on a call my phone screen is locked up. I can't do anything. I cant conference a new call our even end a call. the keypad option does not work either. I need to press the power button to end a call. the only thing that works are the physical buttons.
I'm currently running stock rom with cookie and s2u2.
Btw, I love the swype input method.

Do you have BsB Tweaks installed by any chance? The increase tap time option on there will do that to the phone, you have to disable it.

Or if you have anyone apps that changes the screen from portrait to landscape will make your phone screen lock, at least on my phone it does.
I do haveu BsB tweaks installed and I activated increase tap time. I disabled it and reboot and now it works again.

The problem is very isolated because when i answer or make a call the touch screen then becomes useless....i can't hold, turn on the speaker phone, switch calls, or x out off the phone tab. There have been some moments when it would work but if i tried another call it would stop working again. if someone could help me fix this issue it would be greatly appreciated.
turn off the 'increased tap time' tweak in BSBtweaks. (or uninstall the 'tap time' cab if you did it as a standalone tweak.)

+1..it happen to awhile back..
try swyping across the word keypad dont push it, says it in the manual i didnt read it either someone had to tell me
I am confused as how to remove the notification on my left soft key when my bluetooth headset is connected.
even though I hit the hide button, the notification comes back. so I cannot use the left soft key as it now shows notification all the times.
is there any registry tweak to disable it?
I search and only find how to remove sms notification or disable the bluetooth disconnect sound only.
please help as this really annoying.

Well, then what about using Google? Or if that doesn't work, You could check what happens if You delete the notification from queue manually (with SKTools or Dotfred's taskmgr). And if that works, then You could write maybe a small mortscript to take care of this. There are tons of ways You can help Yourself. There isn't a ready-coded solution for everything here as all the devices are different. We can only show You the door, but You are the one that has to go through it.

I used the remove bluetooth softkey and other combinations but I couldn't get the answer.
Anyway, yes the program is not downloadable anymore.
