Creating Windows Live contact - Omnia II General

When I access the Samsung application Phonebook and try to create a new contact, appear only the options "SIM" and "Outlook". However, I have the Windows Live sync on my device. I can only create a contact in Windows Live when I access the default Windows Mobile contacts app. Does anyone have any idea how to solve this?
Thanks!!!

activesync - multiple contact folders

please, does anyone know of a solution (similar to good old intellisync) that would enable to syncronize multiple contacts folders (typically company and personal contact lists)?
I sync with exchange via GPRS my company uses Kerio mailserver.
I would be happy for any help...
Consider using Categories to manage your contacts - ActiveSync or Windows Mobile Device Center (for Vista) will not support synchronizing to multiple Contacts folders or subfolders.

Stop outlook from syncing hotmail contacts to the phone's contacts ??

On Windows Vista i used to sync my phone through the Windows Mobile Device Center, and Microsoft Outlook, and get all my contacts from phone to the pc, and if my phone was hooked up also, if i add a new contact or change a detail of an older one in MS Outlook, it would immediately take change in my phone also..
Now a couple of weeks ago i put up Windows 7, and install the Outlook Connector, and now when i connect my phone, it wants to send all the hotmail contacts that i have right into my phone, which i dont want ofcourse, and if i try to delete them, they would delete from my address book and from MSN Messenger also! so im stuck here, im not even hooking up my phone to the computer cause otherwise i'll have my whole phone's contact list messed up with a bunch of email addresses of a bunch of people that i dont need on my phone, and that i cant delete cause i dont want to lose them from my computer or my MSN list either.. this is stressing!! hahaha, so if anyone had this, or knows how to set the Outlook/Connector/WMDC to keep outlook(hotmail) contacts on my computer and sync my phone contacts in a diferent folder without mixing them together, please, it would help me a lot!
EDIT: when i installed windows live on the phone, i unchecked the option of syncing my hotmail contacts, so thats not whats causing it, its purely because of Outlook..
Running Outlook 2007 - Connector - on XP sp3
When I set-up the Hotmail contacts installed to a separate address book. So my Outlook contacts are in "Contacts" whilst the Hotmail are in "Contacts in n****@hotmail.co.uk"
I know that you don't have Activesync which only sycns the main contacts folder. Are there other options in W7 version of AS (sorry can't remember the name). Do your hotmail contacts show in a separate contact folder?
I've lost my outlook connector toolbar and can't remember if it had additional settings.
Nev
in windows 7 i have windows mobile device center, and now i only have 1 "contacts" folder. thats the main problem i think, thats why everything is in the same "contants" , i remember a while ago, when everything used to work good, i did have a "Contacts" and seperate i had "Contacts in [email protected]"
any idea how to add/seperate them?
Not sure... Have tried uninstalling - but didn't seem to dump all of the data and on re-install has done every thing automatically..
see here
I tried to re-install to see if there were any additional setting, but I didn't remove properly.
Have a look under the account settings. You should have two data files... Are the mails being delivered to a different mailbox?
i still cant figure this out!
now i know the problem is that i have the same "contacts" folder both for my outlook contacts and for my hotmail contacts,,, i need to seperate them.. if anyone knows how?

Uploading contacts to HD2

Hi there, I'm pretty new to the WinMo scene, i had a touch pro 2 then went to an iphone which ive had for 2 years.
So I back my Iphone contacts up to "windows contacts" in windows 7.
Then i thought it would be as easy as using mobile sync manager and ticking a box to sync them with my HD2, but things are never so easy, there is no option to do so.
So how will i go about getting my contacts from windows onto my beloved HD2?
Try using My Phone, you can install it from the market place.

Setting up Exchange could help you. There are some free services. Also, Windows Mobile Device Center will sync your Outlook Contacts.

Unfortunately, Microsoft almost disabled Windows Contacts in Windows 7.
The recommended solution for you would be to get a Windows Live ID from www.hotmail.com.
Then, in Hotmail, go to the "People"-page. On that webpage, there is a menu link, choose: "Manage"->"Import". Choose import from Windows Contacts.
Your contacts will then be imported to Hotmail.
On your phone, install the Windows Live program, add your hotmail credentials. You can choose to sync your contacts between you phone and hotmail on a regular interval.
For your windows desktop, you can download the Windows Live Mail client from http://download.live.com
Add your Windows Live ID credentials and you now have a similar solution to Apple Mobile Me.
The only drawback is that for some incomprehensible reason Microsoft in their infinate wisdom have disabled Calendar sync from Hotmail to your phone. But, mail and contacts will sync between your desktop, the cloud (www.hotmail.com) and your phone.
Of course, you can still add your other e.mail accounts to the phone if you do not want to use hotmail for anything else than a contact sync solution
Also, because of the decisions microsoft made for Windows 7 and Hotmail, you no longer will be able to find your contacts on your computer by using the search feature on the Start Menu. The only way to find your contacts is to open the WIndows Live Mail client, navigate to Contacts and search from there.

[Q] How to export contacts to Windows Live Mail

Dear friends.
First of all, I'm sorry, I'm pretty sure that this item has been answered several times, but I have to ask you once more.
How to export my contacts to my PC, in the Windows live Mail (for Windows 7) ?
If anyone please ...
Thanks in advance
i have the same problem!
if you have windows live installed on your phone, you can go to start, select Contacts icon, ......select (don't edit) a contact and the last option is add to windows live.
This is how far i've comme, it works only one by onen, ( I tried selecting them all but the phone only syncs the first entry).... if I get more infos, i'm going to post them
You can also sync them by adding your hotmail account as an exchange account

[Q] Help Please

Is there any way to sync my Outlook 2010 contacts with my HTC hd2 tmobile usa without using any second party email service, just straight outlook to hd2. I have tried some of the stuff on the board.....everything syncs except contatcs. I luv this phone but this is really irritating, after discarding my iphone (which was so easy working with contatcs). Other than this problem , I am officially a fan
I don't get it, doesn't it automatically sync your contacts when you plug it in your pc? Did you already download windows mobile center on your PC?
Download and install Windows Mobile Device Center (microsoft). Sync your phone via USB and creat a partnership. Choose to sync contacts, mobile favorites, calender, files, etc. as you like (right calender to choose how far ahead to sync). There are directions and you can search the site for more and, if all else fails, ask again.
