White Screen after Soft reset and HD hangs/freezes - HD2 General

Hi You all,
Can someone help me out? I have installed an custom rom, like Energy of Artemis 8.0. When installing a programme to run on the HD and have to do a soft reset my HD freezes and have to install the custom rom again, otherwise he wil not work at all. It won't go into the bootloader?
Thank you for your help,
Arno

It sounds like you flashed an incompatible radio, perhaps ask you querys in the thread of whoevers ROM you flashed.
Regards
Flashmore

That's because radios with 51 in the naming convention don't support the 576m hack and at least for the NRG rom I know these radios won't work. You need to use either 2.08.50 or 2.07.50 for that rom (can't speak for the Artemis rom).

i think not depend from radio
if the radio is wrong, your device don't boot
try Mtty or task29 solution
for cleaner well memory device
and after flash rom execute hard reset

Believe me it is the radio. Read the NRG thread and there are at least 57,365 people with the same problem. Ok, I may be exaggerating just a little but it seems like that many. The device does boot but gets stuck at the white HTC screen.

I have always since that device not boot when used wrong radio

just to throw in a little agreement with clydeb, on non tmous phones,if the radio is incorrect the phone starts, but hangs on the grey screen until you boot to bootloader and correct the radio.

i'm using Artemis 8.0...radio is 2.08 no problem at all...

Murata Radio, is it for real?

Has anyone notice the influx of first time posters with no signatures having radio problems just
after someone posted the link to the russian ROM and radio?
yes it is real, radio 1.64.08.21 sucks, I flashed it, no 3g signal, after flashing it, I then tried Murata radio and everything is back to normal, then tried 1.64.08.21 again, **** out of luck again, had to redo the Murata. I suspect 1.64.08.21 is not loading properly because there is no way to get the radio to install without getting the device in bootloader mode first. this isn't the case for me with Murata Radio.

i pointed that out one or a few times also and had my doubts about it, but I tried it myself finally, and it had no negatve effect on my Orbit 2 so far... you can also revert back to any other Radio ROM or full ROM of your choice after that... There is also a vote where you can see which people already tried the ROM with success. Not many votes yet, but some of them are not first time posters.
Oh and... I am not Russian
This rom REALLY a micracle. I have problem with reception before after upgrade latest radio which cause very bad reception but finally i try this Murata Radio...It's simply awesome, bring back my polaris with full reception...got to try this radio, perfect for wm6.1.

That's quite comforting mavvy and thanks for the heads-up. Just can't help being cautious after noticing the frenzy which is quite similar when radio 1.68.8.21 came out only to find out, days later, that it ****ed up the signal quality of some devices.
Anyway, has anyone tested how it affects the internet speed of the polaris?

you should have read the thread carefully.
And use UDK's custom RUU to avoid HR!
Bump Bump.....
I tried to flash Murata, but the progress bar didn't move. I tried using CustomRUU and still no luck.
My TC got stuck in bootloader and I had to use mtty to get it back to normal.
Anyone know why?
Maybe if I hardSPL again, it will work?
And also Murata ROM is the best. Better then any cooked ROM here. Better then WM6.1 ROMs. With this Muara rom I have 10-20 % better benchmark performance in CorePlayer with same movies.

You can switch off phone then hold volume down and switch on. It will boot into bootlaoder and you can then flash the rom you want to. But before you do that why not try the correct radio for the rom you now have. The only problem is the radio version. You'll find the radio in the stickies and you can flash it like you flashed your rom and all will be ok.

What have you tried so far if anything?
now i make download the radio version 2.10.50.08_2 for the rom versio Axlor Leo v. 10 WWE
Ok, switch phone off, then hold in volume down button and while holding switch the phone on. It will boot into a multi coloured screen (bootloader) - plug usb cable in and when "USB" shows on the phone screen flash the radio and then your rom.

noob here...
Haven't got a response yet.
I am thinking about flashing my HD2, but I am little afraid. I have superflat rate, unlimited emails and free calls in 3 different networks and stuff like that.
Will I loose something else except the warranty?
kind regards

Im no expert, i wouldnt think it would!! You could always revert back to stock so it wouldnt affect your warranty.

i love cheese..and ok...I will try to flash the same ROm you guys have.. Energy?
I was gonna install HSPL first..but my SPL version is not 1.42...
1) To install this HSPL there must be SPL 1.42.0000 on your device.
Otherwise the installation will fail!
To check your SPL version, hold the Volume Down button and do a reset.
It is possible to downgrade to this SPL, by just flashing to an Official ROM
with this SPL version.
I think you can install hspl 2. Try that - it will just give you an error message if incompatible. What SPL do you have on your phone?

[RQ] HTC HD2 Stock ROMs

Okay... First of all, I'm sorry for starting a new thread, but it is really urgent...
I installed a WP7 ROM on my dad's HD2, just to see if I could. Apparently I can. Aaaand, here's the problem... I have no idea how to revert it to a stock HD2 ROM. Yes, I am an idiot... I've been looking around the forum and the official HTC site for hours now, but I can't seem to find a proper ROM... So, please, PLEASE, somebody help...
The device serial number is SH07SNW00110, if that's of any help. Please help. (((((
If its a Tmous then look here
If its an EU HD2 then look here
If its a branded device then remember to get the right ROM for your carrier.
Hope that helps.
Thank you!
if you want your phone exactly like before, make sure you also uninstall HSPL

If you flash the correct stock rom, definitely will delete hspl. The stock rom contain spl, radio and os, while custom rom contains only os (although few of the also contain radio)

Hi,
Each ROM nowadays seems to have a different sized CWM partition.
This is generally well explained on the [OP].
Read carefully,or at least post which ROM you intend to use,so that someone could maybe check for you.

Do this:

Update Radio
MagLDR 1.13

So now that you have it figured. Run the Tmous version and see if you like it then download the EU version with CWM partition size 190 instead of the 240 you used for the Tmous version. It works and you get more free ram. I am runnning EU ROM with 150 partition and am getting 250+ ram free 24/7. Just a tip to any US HD2, you can run the EU version of any Rom.
And please rename thread with [SOLVED] at the beginning of thread name. Now others won't need to waste time and help, and "EXPERTS" won't come to flame.
