Hey I hope I'm doing the correct thing by posting this new thread i don't do that very often have got a couple of final issues with my ROM.
A little query does any one know the reg entry which sets the time of the phone and matches it with the network time. ( this does not include location service or data connection ) please help.
I have included autotime zone fix from the topaz s2 ROMs.
and the following reg enteries:

Remember that phone canvas have issue in new builds... like history call and or.. id caller...

No no the issue is not about caller ID ( my build is 23529/23549 ) which has no such issues.
My problem is i can't find a Canvas which supports Video Call and Conferance for VGA.
I tried Qlin dialer but it does not work very well..
and i can't figure out what all to cook with leo dialer and i cant even fin where to download trust me i have searched alot. ( as leo is WVGA and i need VGA ... )
and by other problem is the clock of the phone
earlier when i did not used to cook and used others ROM when i used to switch on the phone ( Radio ) the time and date sue to get set on its own according to city,
( this is not using data connection or mylocation ) but now i have to always manually set the time and date...
even my location service does not update the time and date...
any help regarding these is much appreciated..
But do you need it for Raphael?...i didnt know that it has VideoCall support.....anyway Diamond is VGA and for what i know it has Videocall as well, so you can just dump a stock rom from Wi-Ki and grab it.

YEah all the Rapheal chefs have video call support.
I personally don't need it but if some one else is using my ROM they may need it.
Some Raph Chef if answers this it would be great.
I'm sure NRGZ can help if he sees this.

Thanks it helped.
The problem was i was cooking both the qilin and rhodium dialer thinking that the qilin will overwrite the rhodium.but now only qilin is what i cooked and it works like a charm.
now the only problem is the time sync with network operator the reg enteries did not work...
can someone please help me here.

are you sure? i mean ,do you know for sure that your carrier support that feature?
if you know that you carriers support it ,then translate the above reg key into .provxml file.

Yes sir it did support on the ENRGY ROMs and CHROME ROMs.
As soon as i used to turn the phone ( Radio ) on the time used to sync it self within 10 seconds.
I'll try to translate it to provxml file.

3G switch in CommManager
Because we still can´t flash our own roms we have to mod the device as it is. Anyone managed to enable the 3G switch in CommManager_2_9_O_0, because this doesn´t seem to work

I already started to set up my kitchen. Its a 6.5.3 build.
Does any one know how to solve that the phone canvas dosnt have the right size? I´ve searched this before and what i understand, its a dll that i need to edit to fix this. I didnt manage to solve this tho. Any one have a clue?

For some reason 3G is picking the "Function_WiMAX.png" and "Function_WiMAX_Disable.png" rather strange indeed I havn't any clue.
Standard the UMTS settings I mention are not there, that's the reason that the slider was'nt working.
The 3G slider is working fine for me now

Hi p-kirill. I had no problems extracting the 1.48 rom with the kitchen. Depending on your os you may need to run binaries with admin rights (win7) and/or install c++ redist or dotnet (xp).

1) how can i set the date long (dddd dd mm yy) in the today page? My Diamond 2 runs the original French rom, wm 6.5.
2) I ve found a lot of solutions on the Internet to add a town, but no one works, and most of the time i must hard reset the device. HTC Sense doesnt start again. Softs like Weather Database Editor for example make HTC Sense not working and doesnt even add the town i entered...
If someone knows the right way to do so, i would be grateful

I found this thread (particularly post 2) most helpful and got it working on WinMo 6.5 but it never worked on WinMo 6.1 for me

I confirm it works perfectly with both WM6.1 and WM6.5, just follow the instructions carefully..if you have any problem you can PM me, tell me the city you want to add and I'll make the manila file for you.
Thanks to both of you. I've already tried this method but it didnt work. As i said in my first post, each time i install "Weather Database Editor", it makes my HTC Sense unable to launch. I'll try one more time... but i almost sure i'll must hard-reset...

The easy way is to install the .cab I posted above and then manually add your cities using SQLLiteAdmin. If you have an italian ROM you can modify the manila file in previous post, you could edit the "Valence" line (if not interested in..) and any another city you're sure you're never go to .
I am being very brief because I assume you read the "official" instructions, if you have any problems,PM me
EDIT: Well, Since It's almost Xmas and I feel Santa Sualc, i modified the manila file for you, but remeber to install AddCityWeather.cab aswell!!(AGAIN: this file is certified to work in an italian ROM, if something goes wrong I will need you ORIGINAL manila file)
P.S: It's really stupid not to put those cities by default, ok they're not enormous cities like Tokio but they are regional Capitals in their respective countries..

Advanced config is an application that you have to download and install (google for it), then follow his instructions

First ,i'd like to thanks all this community ( cookers and everyone ) for this very usefull forum
Since SSPL is out , i tried about every cooked roms for Leo and they worked fine exept the compass . When i launch compass i have only the compass but cannot use it to show me the direction .Normaly at the bottom you can choose a location and then you have a green spot on the compass that show you the direction .On almost all rom compass can not be use , choose location is not there ? exept on TOPIX roms where it work very well .
I tried to look for this issue on the whole forum but unfortunatly find nothing ..
TOday i'm stuck with TOPIX roms ( very good rom also) because of that issue .
Is there a way to reactivate compass use ?

Good observation. I was wondering when anyone would post about this issue.
Same here. Hope the Chefs will find out too and adapt the Compass.
It was one of the cool features on the stock ROM, to be able to get a directional
heading for a destination in conjunction with Google Maps.

The "Set Destination" works well in my ROMs.

You don't have to wait for your next flash, the cabfile provided ny freyberry works.
It only leaves two icons in the program list, but who cares. They now both start the
correct compass.
+1 for the community...again.
You can easily remove icons from the start menu. Just open File Explorer and go to \Windows\Start Menu\Programs, there you can remove (or add, or reorganize) links.

I found a bug- when landscape mode is enabled, the animated screen freezes during the start up and the only solution is hard reset.
I will try to fix it and if I don't manage to do it I will remove the animation.

Fast and simple! It's my first unofficial rom i chose it because it's "clean". I use it with Resco Contact Manager for now everything working ok exept the GPS receiver wich drops out from time to time. It works ok for like 3 hours then IGO says "no GPS receiver found". A restart of the navi program solves the problem but if i don't move quickly enough the whole system freezes and i have to do a full reset. It can be verry anoying when the major junctions are at 3 hours distance . The problem seems to be time and not map complexity related. Thanks again for the ROM it's a charm..

Perhaps you have the problem with the A-GPS. There are some threads explaining how to switch off it and they say that without A-GPS aid , GPS works OK... Search a bit around....
Another more serious stuff: when I try to create a new SMS (Start\Text\Menu\New\SMS) nothing hapens.. altough i can receive SMS..

Of course you are allowed to modify it. I just want to warn you that there is a bug with text sending and I still haven't found a solution for it.
I have installed vito's sms chat and changed the registry settings for the default texting application it works.. I've never made new ROMs but perhaps if you would copy the Microsoft's tmail.exe from another ROM instead of Arcsoft Powermobia tmail.exe..

Thanks to all Cookers/Developers! Without their knowledge I would not succeed finding the present solution.
This ROM was build with Barin's wonderful OSBuilder kitchen and unlike other ROM's, you can dump and recook it. All RGU/DSM files are inside (it's a real signed ROM). Feel free to modify it, to fit your needs! Please share the knowledge with the community. Sharing the knowledge rather than keeping it secret is the biggest improvement.

3D-Drivers are NOT included. Because the used Kernel is incompatible. If I can find a NK 6.5 for the Polaris with 85MB-RAM (current 101MB) enabled, then I can try to build with the drivers included.

you should first edit the ROM using HTCRIE, after in edit you can add files 3D-ROM Driver files

Wich part of ROM should I edit with HTCIRT?
You cannot use 3D-Drivers with the current Native 6.5 Kernel in my ROM. The kernel is hacked to use the area between 85MB -> 101MB as RAM. The 3D-Drivers like to use this area for DDI.
That's the problem. If I'm wrong, feel free to show me the right way.

sorry I have to straighten, not htcirt but HTC ROM Image Editor , yes it is definitely ruu signed.nbh in ROM which you make with HTCRIE you can add it or subtract the necessary application files survivors trying & good luck

Hi Matthias,
I also had wakeup hangs with 1.59.44.02 (not so often as with 1.59.46.12). I'm using 1.59.42.15 at the moment. Over the last 4 days I had no problems.
What you mean? Keylock or lockscreen? For keylock please have a look at: Einstellungen -> Persönlich -> Tastensperre. It works for me.
For automatic lockscreen I use LockDevice 1.6.

Hi All,
I found a big bug in my ROM!
Please edit the registry to the values in the code window and take a soft-reset:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\OEM\TFLOSettings]
"EnableScroll"=dword:0
"EnableSound"=dword:0
"EnableCube"=dword:0
Setting "EnableScroll" to "0" is the most important!
If it is set to "1", the HTC touch.dll/biotouch.dll conflicts with the WM 6.5 builtin touch driver. Typical symptoms are random short hangs while scrolling and lame phone canvas. After edit and soft-reset you get a real fast device.

here you find a new version of my german ROM for the Polaris.
Changes:
Titanium only! No more Manila2D inside. For me, it is useless bulk.
Fixed scrolling (post #10).
EzInput 1.5 fixed, Landscape added, US and DE keyboards only
LockScreen fixed, HTC-LockScreen-Enh. removed.
Transcriber, Windows Live, Footprints, Manila2D are only present in the kitchen (you can get by request)
EDIT-07.05.2011:
Switching from package "MEGA_Power" (powerexe.exe 2.28) to "POLARIS_Power" (powerexe.exe 2.14). I hope this was the end of search for the reason of random freezes or "sleep of death".

many Thanx to u for this great work. I installed it two weeks ago, and it works great. The only thing what is boring is the time to what until xda has manage contact or sms service. I dont know whats going on, and i installed htcs qwertz tab because all other tabs hasn´t work well. Hope i can help with your great work.

sorry 1 exception xda freezing if the display is fading away, until i push powerbutton. then booting finalized its work... any Idea how to handle it.
Just downloaded and its wirks fine.But it is possible, to make the icons and text in the menue bigger. 3 icon per line ?

You can allways build your own ROM with my kitchen by request. 3 icons per line is the WM default.

sorry I forgot to put some modules to slot0. This is fixed in my last ROM (21901_006 from 10.03.2011). I had tested the new ROM over 1 month and got no freeze or SOD anymore.

Hi lazomi,
please perform a Hard-Reset after flashing the ROM. This action formats the flash and loads factory defaults.

i flash mein xda orbit 2 with your ROM_21901_007 few days ago, yesterday i have several times sleep of death only unplug the battery helps...
and yes i made a hardreset after flashing
at the moment i change the settings "Tastensperre" to "Tasten nicht sperren" and no sleep of death so far
what can i do?
