1.6?
I have not yet published V1.6 yet?
May be 1.5? Please check & compare the screen shots in this and another thread.
You can see the difference that the Windows UI is different. The start key is in top in this version.
This is based on the same wm6.5 series which came with your device.
Premium V1.1 is online now.

1.5 is rock solid. I think 1.1 will be very interesting but it may just come down to personal taste. They are all based on the official so you are cool all the way! Enjoy I have 8 minutes left to go on the 1.1.
Oh alright..so basically the difference is only the visuals right ?...If its only visual i like this rom,,, and I'm gonna wait for the Classic version of 1.1 and download it
Thx
A few questions:
The description in post 1 of this thread says it will come in three flavours, but only two listed. I'm assuming we are only getting two versions of this ROM, correct?
Is this the COM2 ROM you had polled for in the other thread? If so, what are the major differences between this and your Premium 1.5?
Were you releasing a Titanium version of this or the other ROM.
Sorry if some of the answers are obvious. I've only flashed my ROM once and that was with your Premium 1.5 version. Just want to make sure I'm clear on what this one has compared to that one.
ok i tried the other rom to be exact Kumar_s_Tmob_Premium_V1.5_MSVC-2 file and so far so good kind of hate the sync on the bottom 3g and service is good using stock radio 4 bars solid overall like the feel of things seems fast and everything is shifting better soon to try this rom as the start is back on top. Personal preference liked it on top so all these roms are just different preferences of what you like and don't will let you know in 30 minutes as rapidshare is slow right now
The new rom is solid Kumar however where is office in this rom?
Hey
Just wondering will this version have internet sharing on it? and weather animations toggle ?

Its only the visuals(UI) that is different. The ROM in this thread(V1.1) is not much finger friendly whereas another (V1.6) is. The programs are same in both.
Yes there will be only two versions. Classic & Premium.
There are no major bugs in 1.1. But, if you are not flashaholic just wait for next version.
There won't be Titanium version in this build as it will look weird with the native UI.

Thanks friend.
It is included in the ROM.
Just the shortcuts are not available

I'll try to provide a cab to fix.

Hi all
now i post this topic to collect some feedbacks and suggestions to make my next rom become more useable!
I'm not an English user,so i don't really know what u guys need in ROMs
such as keypad, some nessecery software and so on.
Or if u guys prefer to Use a very very cleaned ROM?
PLZ just post to me and i will try my best to make u all feel a wonderfull use experience!
Thank you for your work as far. But can you verify that your ROMs are 100% wm6.5.5. Somebody, not myself. Is saying that there is problem with the xip files.
Anyway, I would perfer a clean rom with sense 2.5 2012. Cheers.

How can i prove my rom is 100% wm6.5.5?
U can dump my ROM and use XIPPORT to dump out my xip.bin
then compare to the 23563 ROMS OR resources in XDA to see whether the MSXIPKernel files are the same.
hi, thx for the work so far.
i think a clean rom with just the stock toshiba programs and setting would be great. If someone want to add a soft, he can do it by his self.
I also think that a rom with the lastest softaware and radio verion would be great
thx

Any chance of sense 2.5.2012 ?

In my opinion, your actual ROM is ok(I like your upper taskbar, reset & shutdown apps), but:
-a newer radio would be better( at least someone claims this);
-english version of touch task manager would be better;
-touch input (or toshiba) keyboard are nicer & more usable;
-get ''calendar key'' on Home-tab replaced by ''phone key'';
-agood video player:tcmp,coreplayer,div x;
good work on your rom i agree with wanting new drivers radio ect and would also love a perfect sense rom.
a bit of topic im going to give spb a try so dose anyone think it would it be worth flashing the hk rom with new drivers radio ect to get better spb function??? or just wait for new 6.5.5 rom
Hi,
did I get that right: the StartCall/EndCall Softkeys are not working in this Rom? Thats something that should be sorted out imo...

As for the input options... I was not able to find the input options under setting> personal. I need to put my registration info for TouchPal keyboard but there is not option to do that in this ROM. Am I missing something here?

If you have installed other keyboard app but the wm default, you have to long press central ''keyboard key'' and you'll see a window poping up with keyboard apps installed on your device...
I think that most important thing is to improve as much as possible free ram on boot optimizing all processes.
Then if it isn't removed yet the 20% battery limitation, add htc keyboard, translate other chinese menus, mms, upgrade radio version and try to find a fix for softkeys in wm 6.5.5 also with other programs which allows to map hardware keys.
The last thing that would be great is multilanguage support but I think that for now it's difficult.

Personnaly i don't like this task bar. i'd prefer the regular one even if it's cold, etc. Once again if people like it, they can install it by their own. The cleaner is the better (for a beganing). After having a clean, stable, bugless rom, you can start adding other stuff.
For exemple, i use spb mobile shell 3.5 so minilla isn't usefull for me and take an huge weight of internal memory.

Yes I figurre that out my self... But the input options screen is still missing or at least a shortcut to get to the input options screen is missing. Without this options screen it is not possile to configure various input applications.

I am looking for someone that has experience in themes and something to apply them with. I am using cht 1.8 and I am also using stock tmo us rom and radio.
I tried out hdwalls and it didn't work out too well.
I've seen issues reported when the music is just copied over to the storage card. One of the files causes the music player to take ages to load.
The common solution is to use WM player to sync the music i think...
Sorry responded to wrong post!! my bad..
you must be mis-understanding me. I am not talking about anything close to music. i'm talking about applying wallpapers and themes like hdwalls does. I hae tried the gtx theme but it doesn't work on my phone it distorts everything and shows no today screen cuz it all gets covered by the distortion.
I wanna make some really nice today screens but have observed you need some programs to do it with.
Not sure but gonna guess it is because you have a "Stock" rom ..
Most of these packages require a lot of "fixes" that stock roms do not have ...
one of the big things is installing unsigned apps , stock roms, don't let you do that ..
but i'm very cautious about flashing my rom. I am not sure that I am fully ready to flash a custom rom. I have chosen nrgz energy rom with gtx theme but I dont' feel I have been given the whole complete set of directions

Well there are plenty of threads here on this forum about flashing, HSPL is important first ....
Flashing a custom rom is a lot easier than trying to customize a stock rom with the hundreds of fixes that is required to make it "LOOK" like a custom rom.
remember the main rules of flashing a ROM
1.)Search
2.)Read
3.)Read Again
4.)Read it Again
5.)Rinse and Repeat
trust me I've been reading for weeks and weeks and weeks. before I even made my username I sat around and read up to like 30 pages back on each section of the htc leo hd2. I know that first back to 2.10 rom so I can get 2.08 spl then get hspl then flash the rom. but yuo know being the first time doing it I'm kinda worried that I might do something and I haven't really found a walkthrough on each detailed step on nhow to flash a tmo us 1024 leo cuz I keep finding smaller and smaller details as I keep reading. not that you guys aren't a legitimate source I just feel I might be missing something.
1. backdate to 2.10 rom
2. get hspl for 1024
3. flash rom.
Missing anything?

Might want to backup your contacts and things, and maybe even your sdcard ...
I used Microsoft My Phone to save my contacts , sms and such to the cloud while I flashed ...
Also you may want to search for Task29 this is a way to make sure your phone is nice and clean to accept the new ROM, task 29 is the last thing you do before flashing the ROM ..
The first 2 months I had my HD2 I think I flashed it about 9 times before I settled on the Energy Rom ...

This is the thread you want to read. It's very simple to do.
In short, download and install HSPL connect your phone, make sure you have 50% battery or more, you don't need to update your radio for it to be compatable with Energy ROMs as you are already using a TMobile USA device, download the GTX Energy ROM. Extract the two files 'LEOIMG.nbh' & 'LeoCustomRUU' file to a folder on your desktop, double click the 'LeoCustomRUU' which looks like your HD2, and follow the on screen intructions. Give it 2 mins and the phone will restart and voila you have a new OS on your phone.

Read my sig. I love NRG and I love the Energy ROMs, some will say you aren't going to get the best battery life from them, but to be honest I haven't really noticed any difference. They are super fast, and look gorgeous.
*Edit*Oh and NRG updates almost weekly so he really does an absolute plethora of updates on the smallest things, so I would say they are without a doubt the most refined ROMs avaliable.

To be honest I thought I was NOT gonna like it, but after using it , it seems to be very stable.
I have flashed it twice to my TMOHD2 and both times, had to do a battery pull after the first full boot ... BUT after that it has seem to run perfect ..
I flashed it twice just to see if the battery pull trick worked the second time, not that it failed to flash or anything like that ....
But I would read the features list of several ROMS before deciding , also you will find that ROM flashing can be addictive, once you start it is like you have to have your NEXT FIX .... /me shudders ...
well since you've flashed 9 different ones I think I have gathered from what you said. What does energy have that other roms don't besides stability and performance.

Stability and Performance ... Is the best thing to look for, the rest of the stuff is eyecandy ... and with the custom ROMS you don't have many issues making it behave the way you want it to ....
Just check out the Energy ROMS thread and look at the apps that come installed, it is a personal choice ...

I would not worry too much about doing a task29 since you are going from stock ...
I use it when going from custom rom to custom rom, to make sure "Everything" is clean ...

Well I should have asked, are the UK dl and the twitter Dl links just SD run roms or do they fully take over the hd2 and run alone wiping winmo? I'm not interested in dual boot. serves no purpose in my opinion.
None wipe WinMO at this point. The twitter links are generally patches for developers or anyone who wants to experiment with the version theyve downloaded. Best you can do at this point is donate to the developers suport, time, and money and they will be done soon.

If anybody would bother reading, what NRGZ28 has posted, or the readme in the download ..
From Readme By NRGZ28
This package is a combination of a minimal WM ROM made by me (NRGZ28) and the latest "Desire" V4 Android build for the HD2 made by Cotulla! More info can be found here http://gamesquare.co.uk/desire.html
In order to run this on your HD2, you have to copy THREE files to the root folder of a storage card and insert it in the device. YOU CANNOT RUN THIS WITHOUT A STORAGE CARD. If the OS detect no storage card, it will shut down automatically. Now...
Copy "data.img","rootfs.img" and "system.sqsh" found in the 7z archive, to the ROOT of your storage card.
These files require about 400 MBytes, so make sure you have at least that much available on the card. A class 4 or Class 6 card is recommended for best performance.
If you find that you don't like this ROM and want to get back to your regular Windows Mobile ROM, turn the phone off (press the End key inside Android or simply pull the battery) and hold the "Volume Down" key on the side of the phone, as you're turning it on with the red power key. It will bring you to the multi colored bootloader screen, where you can plug in your cable and flash your favorite ROM.
1. Sugggestions
- Choose the HTC Sense interface on startup when you're asked what you want to run. It runs better.
- Go to Settings / Wireless & Networks / Mobile Networks / Access Point Names and push the "windows" key on the device to get the menu to pop out. Here you can add the access point for your provider. For example, it's "wap.voicestream.com" for TMobile USA. You can look this up easily on XDA. This is a required step to get DATA services in Android.
- The "windows" key is your menu key in android.
Enjoy and be sure to thank Cotulla for his hard work on this !!

Ya thats all I could find, what you just posted.
Don't expect to see a stable daily use ROM any time soon. Try looking around at the other devices that have Android ported for the last year. Do they have a flashable ROM ? Nope........! Don't expect one for the HD2 anytime soon. If you want Droid as an every day OS go get an Android phone. That's really your only solution.
Does the new Desire build have to have the newest zImage also?
Also, there doesn't seem to be a way to connect your phone to your PC in Desire v5. You don't get the "Mount phone" option in the notification area.
Also, native camera app doesn't work, as it forces you to use the optical trackball to take a pic, but HD2 doesn't have optical trackpad. CameraMagic works fine though.

internet not working.....
how do i get the internet and my voice calls to work properly.....I have android up and working, just having those 2 issues
Here we go. I DL'ed the zip, and unzipped it. I do not see a ROM to install? I was under the impression that this would install a basic ROM + Everything needed to run Android (except I have to copy the 3 files to the SD). Does it not. Do I have to install a basic ROM myself first, and if so, how do I then make this Android work on boot?
Anyone? Maybe fast help? (I'm leaving work soon and wanted to do it before)...

just a pointer about your clean install.pdf, , you make no mention of creating teh EXT partition, which most roms now support, so most people are gonna want to know about it.
It's optional though

EXT partition is optional unless it's req by the ROM developer.
