Wlan connecting problem - HD2 General

Hi,
I have a problem with my wlan and my hd2. I can't connect to my wlan with my hd2.
The wlan router settings are:
Security is set to wpa and the wpa type is a passphrase.
The encryption is set to tkip.

I have the same problem.. and cant find a solution power to max does not work!

You have to enter the passphrase manually.

Yeah I know, but how can I do that? As you can see it's in gray so I can't enter anything.

un tick the tick box that says "the key is provided automatically" (de sleutel wordt......) the tick box above the box where the pass phrase goes)

Ha ha, I missed it at first look but he has WPA selected not WPA-PSK which means that you can't choose the passkey.
@glennvho, try selecting WPA-PSK or WPA2-PSK so that you can login with a password
HTH

As mentioned above, select WPA-PSK, and use AES encryption too.

Wpa2 enterprise / peap WiFi support

I'm surprised to see that wpa2 enterprise isn't supported. It would be great if I could connect to my office wireless and access the network. Anyway to make this work or support enterprise? Thanks
Sent from my ADR6300 using XDA App
Works for me, sure you have your settings right

well thats sorta the thing. I cant input the correct settings cause I dont have the options to. I need wpa2 enterprise and all that is available is wpa2 personal. I dont get the fields to enter the correct info without choosing enterprise.
I'm having the same issue. Information about the network I can't connect to is found below:
SSID: eduroam
Security Mechanism: WPA2/AES-CCMP, WPA2/enterprise, WPA/TKIP or WPA-enterprise
Authentication: PEAP (Protected EAP, EAP-PEAP)
Authenticationprotocol: MS-CHAP-v2
Normally when I connect to the same network with my laptop, I need to put in a username and a password, but I'm not able to put in any username on the phone.
Do you need any apps to solve this problem?
Edit: Didn't notice this wasn't the desire forums (was redirected here from making a new thread). I've got a Desire with Android 2.2.
I have the same problem , any ideas ?
Would this not be WPA2 Enterprise or is it something different? I just use Personal at home so don't know.
Edit... oops, shows my name

Try this:
Go to your comm manager and hit menu, domain enroll and enter the info there... WinMO isn't as intuitive as Android when it comes to this...

Android does not ask to enroll, I just enter my Username and Password, and it connects, but with windows mobile, I don't have a domain to enroll to, I just have a username and password.
Windows OS in order to get on a windows network provide a unique identifer to the network that is why you have to use domain enroll option

Check with the IT peeps at your school? They can probably give you the certificate you need to run on your phone to make it work. WinMO requires certificates to work on secure networks where as Android and Iphone do not. Just the way it is man.

No APN settings found?

So i have recently flashed a custom rom meant for verzsion on my sprint phone, and i have done this before and the only thing i need to do to make it work is change the apn settings so text messaging goes through. ( it usually works fine, just has trouble retrieving SOME mms messages) well i went to mobile networks and apn settings aren't there. weird. only dating roaming option is in there. so i slept on it and the next day they showed up but it said i didn't have permission to edit or add a apn, so i rebooted my phone, and the apn settings aren't there anymore. I have tried asking voice control to open it, but says there is no app for that. So installed adb shell, and it recognizes my device and i can reboot it through adb, but thats about it. i am totally lost when i look up guides on how to change apn through it. What should i do? i need to change my apn to sprint if anyone is wondering.
Also, a good thing to mention is the current rom i am running is
http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s4/i9505-develop/rom-albe95-s6-port-1-0-t3092479
alright so i was able to get to my apns by downloading a app from google play and setting it as a system app. it opens up but now im getting this,

What about using the reset to default option?

still leaves me the same problem.
What about editing the apn file manually? I don't mean in the settings, I literally mean the actual file located somewhere in the system folders.

7890 + the hour of the current time when you must enter a password. To check the time, see 20h23 in the task bar. Then you have to enter the password 789020.
If the time is 02h07, enter 789002
