This is how I cooked my rom:
- I have used a shipped Windows Mobile 6.1. rom
added (and translated):
- Manila2d (black theme)
- Manila Configurator
- 3D drivers
- Youtube
- Googlemaps
- Album
- Opal Volume Control
- Audio Manager
- Task Manager
- Opera 9.5
removed:
nothing (can make a lite one if people want that)
I used the orginal dailer because I use videocall very often and it works.
I used the orginal camera because it have auto-focus function.
Cube is still working, if you don't like it, you can turn it off using advanced configurator
I want to say thanks to UDK for his briljant kitchen.
I also want thank the Polaris 3D Development theme for their great 3d drivers.
And I wanna say special thanks to NeoS2007 for his quick reply's and great help to my stupid questions.
I want to thanks to ITje for his help with the screenshots.
And thanks to Mbavrian and Mkorterik their help fixing my bugs
And all others which I used theis apps which I used/edited in my rom
I did put a lot of work in this rom. It is running fast and stable, I didn't found huge bugs for now so please report found bugs.
KNOWN BUGS:
- analog and digital clock are "on" by default (can be changed by manila2dcustomizer)
- video from album not working
- contactstab manila keeps forget the stored contacts? Try to put the contacts in the cube, it works! (thanks mkorterik
- status bar is not showing correct (can install this cab from Mbavrian http://myunspace.com/?d=83C3DE071, then problem is solved)
it will be included in v 2.5

Hey if i turn off the digital clock and apply it never stops loading. I can only reset, after that the touchflow is dead. Hard reset fixes this but this way i can not change the theme...

Try to turn off touchflo and try again. And don't click apply, click ok.
It should work.

Very nice rom, love the dutch tf2d interface. Had some problems with the digital clock though, it was sitting in the right corner of my screen even if I turned off the analog clock. I fixed it by using a custom digital clock. Also have a question about the battery-indication, it seems to be showing it's capacity in green "blocks", but no percentages? And videos don't seem to start up from the tf2d tab, pictures work perfect. Thanks Flaxjef!

It's the first time i use a cooked ROM on my Polaris. I really like it so far!
I had some problems with the digital clock. The numbers were being displayed strangely on top of each other on the right of the screen.
I also had a problem with the Contacts (contacten) tab. It keeps forgetting the preset contacts. When I add contacts into the empty spaces, it will remember it for a while, but after a while, all the spaces are empty again.
(yes I did the hard reset)

I've those problems too.
Besides the problems, the rom is very stable

I am looking for the answer why contacts tab in manila don't save the contacts, till now I don't know but I am working on it problem of clock will be fixed in next release. I will release a new release when I figured out the problem with the contacts. Thanks for your reply

try to put the contacts in the cube. I did that and it worked!

I`m thinking about it but i`m scared of looking for all 409 files for packages again But will think about it ... But IF ... only GREEN color

Thanks In free time i`ll start looking for 409 mui`s and think about makin WWE But i can`t promise anything because of my work i started recently and have no time i had earlier ... Anyway it is WM 6.1 because i do not see any sense in making ROM with Manila 2.1 on WM 6.5 ... To much RAM consuming ... Anyway this is thread about icons About ROM stay tuned Cheers !

There is a little bug if you slide over the calendar or stock tab. it appears a second icon and they are twice, one above the other. But the scond is a little smaller.

Btw I really like these icons but unfortunately I'm sort of a perfectionist sometimes and I've noticed the icons are to large compared to the original, it's almost like the slider is overlaping the contacts icon when positioned at the home icon.
Maybe you could make them a bit smaller sometime?

Iam downloading right now. I read all replies and it seems all are happy and a positive reply . Soon after the download completes and i will flash and report back here. And one important thing everyone if u liked the rom (may be me too) then all plz give a feedback at pdaviet so that the developer creates more. soon will post my experience.

this rom is the ultimate rom but it needs to be better
1. change the splash screen instead of that budda girl (no offence but don like it)
2. well if its clean and we all like it that way make sure to place the other apps you removed in so we can install em. like place the cabs for em
3. it will be great if you added omap overclocking to get the most out of it

ohh yea on more thing the rem.. how did u change the left soft key? cuz last time when using advance config. didnt work... since there is no choice changing the font at least change the contacts to phone will be more better... at least it fit one the button..please and thank u..

that's strange... i only saw the bootup screen once, now when i restart the phone - the buddhist guy splash screen is gone! no more startup screen, just black screen and just put your own welcomehead.96.png file!

first of all i have to say lot of thanks for your hard work on keep opal alive ! it worth than any award is
I'm using your amazing rom, but i have 2 problems.
1) my cell restart some times without any touch ! dunno if its because of your rom or some part of my cell doesnt work properly.
2) whenever i try to call someone , I cant see him/her name and # , because of black font and black background. it would be nice if you change it in your new rom
and some suggestion :
-put opera mini in your rom as default web browser. far better than IE =P
-syncro time is one the most amazing WM app i've ever seen ! add it please
-if you have "map" in your rom, it would be cool to add newer version of google map which is 4
- microsoft my phone will let you to sync your contact and lot of more stuff. would be nice to have it
-I think xtask is much better than show case as task manager ,show case is cool but xtask has lot of more useful feature
-since opal need to remove battery cover for soft reset, it would be awesome if you add quick shutdown
-an over clocking tools is always appreciated
P.S : I have all of these applications, uploading them and pass you the link is no sweat for me, i would be my pleasure to help you to **** an awesome rom dont hesitate to ask for applications in case that you dont have them if you decide to use them

yes, this is true.... but instead of "my phone" you can put pimbackup in the rom which is more useful

opal user here are my lite + ultralite rom for you all.this two rom has no third party applications any necessary applications are included.
1.- lite : without manila 2d only titanium.
2.-with manila 2d.

i used x task manager so it will not work on the fist boot so you will go start menu/file explorer/my device/ programs/x-task/h.hook.exe run it then it will work.

Your ultralite rocks mehul. Its extremely stable, smooth and very fast. But still, the messaging tab in manila works slow. I reli dunno why. Switching of messages takes a lot of time. And I don't like to overclock my device. So can you please find a solution for that? Thank-you once again. The ROM is super amazing

an issue!
there's an issue man. in a certain window when u click tabs, the color of that tab doesn't change and u get confused in which tab you are working. like in the pictures. any fix for that coz it would pain to change everything and flash. or can i just change the theme. but i dont want that. the current one is so sweet and simple.

OK I WILL TRY TO FIX IT SOON.
i was worked very hard work on this theme making so small bug necessary.

i'm using the ultra lite one
it is the best ROM you've made till now
every thing works great and the battery life is good
only one thing: USb to PC not working
please make it work in youe next pro energy ROMs
